Work Text:

"I'm tired," Seokjin said as he leaned against the door of Yoongi's studio with his arms crossed.

Yoongi had his back turned to Seokjin as he stared at his computer screen. The grip on his mouse tightened.

"So what do you want to do?" Yoongi asked with a sigh before he swivelled his chair around to face him.

"I don't know but I'm tired," the older said before he stood up straight, "I'm going home."

"Fine."

Seokjin didn't spare him another glance as he left the room. When the door closed, Yoongi let out a curse and Seokjin slid down the door on the other side before he pulled his knees to his chest. Yoongi stood up and walked towards the door as he made a move to open it but instead opted to lean his forehead against it.

The fights started off small. It was mostly about the fact Yoongi spent too much time in the studio and didn't care for himself enough. Yoongi would then retort with the same argument for Seokjin who seemed to use up his free time with more dance practice and extra vocal lessons. Seokjin would somtimes end up peeved enough to use his ability which entailed him to suddenly leave, which only made Yoongi more upset.

Seokjin was born with an ability he had inherited from his grandfather: time travel. He could go back and forth but never to the future. He didn't have complete control over it just yet but just enough to at least prevent himself from leaving in public. It made it difficult when he was trying to balance idol life, his studies and eventually his relationship with Yoongi.

Things were tense that month between the two as they had to work on individual and group projects which barely left any time for them alone and when they were alone, they'd be too drained and exhausted and sometimes Seokjin would be too tired to control his ability. The day of the big fight resulted from Seokjin demanding Yoongi to stop working and to come home since he barely slept the night before. Realistically, Yoongi knew he should've done so but he was stressed and was upset at the way his hyung spoke to him so instead, he retorted. After an unnecessarily loud yelling match, Yoongi declared he was staying and stormed back into his chair to keep working despite Seokjin being upset. Seokjin stared at him for a while and just stood there in silence.

That eventually led to the moment when Seokjin left the room. The eldest leaned back against the door and could feel tears threaten his eyes. He stood up and started to walk away. He missed the door behind him opening and Yoongi about to call out to him since in that moment, he had already made the decision to disappear.

Yoongi felt a pang of guilt hit him at the image of Seokjin disappearing before his very eyes.

"Ugh, where am I now?" Seokjin muttered to himself when he found himself in front of a wall.

"Hyung, what are you doing?" a voice said from close by. Seokjin widened his eyes before he turned his head to see him and Yoongi in front of the door of their previously shared room. He hid behind the shelves when the two walked in, their hands clasped.

"Just-Relax okay?" past Seokjin said before he cupped Yoongi's face. Yoongi widened his eyes as the older leaned forward and lightly pressed their lips together. Seokjin was surprised at how his heart beat quickened simply watching the scene in front of him. His heart warmed at the look Yoongi gave him before kissing him back.

After a few seconds, past Seokjin lets out a 'wow' which led to Yoongi being a flustered mess. They stare at each other in silence before one of their managers calls out for past Seokjin to come downstairs.

"Coming!" he said before he leans forward for another kiss, "We'll talk later okay?"

As Seokjin left with the door closed behind him, Yoongi covered his mouth with both hands and widened his eyes. His cheeks were red as he processed what just happened.

"Cute," Seokjin said out loud. Yoongi jumped at the sudden voice and he placed a hand over his heart.

"You scared me," Yoongi said angrily. "Where the hell did you come from?"

"A year from now," Seokjin said with a grin. "Didn't know I made you this flustered, Yoongichi," he teased and Yoongi mumbled a 'shut up.'

"Don't worry, you did the same to me," Seokjin said, "He's talking to manager hyung right now but his brain is just going haywire thinking about you."

Yoongi's blush deepened.

"What are you doing here?" the younger asked and Seokjin's expression changed. Yoongi widened his eyes.

"Hyung, did we break up?"

"W-what? No!" Seokjin said quickly, "No no no, that would never happen," he said casually, surprised at his own words.

"Oh," the past Yoongi said, his cheeks still flushed from the incident before.

"You're just a little stubborn."

"Sorry," Yoongi said with a pout. Seokjin rested his hand on Yoongi's face.

"It's not your fault," he said with a smile and Yoongi looked down, a little overwhelmed. "Oh sorry, I'm being too forward."

"N-no it's okay I just didn't expect you to do that." A beat of silence. "Hyung, whatever I'm going to do, I would never do it to hurt you," he said awkwardly.

"You don't even know what happened."

"It doesn't matter. The last thing I'd ever want to do is hurt you."

"I know," Seokjin said with a sigh. "I should probably go back since future you is probably worried."

Past Seokjin's voice could be heard from outside the room.

"I-I'm really sorry. I'm just really distracted," he said and Yoongi turned to Seokjin in question.

"I asked him to repeat what he said for the third time," Seokjin said with a laugh, "You have no idea what you do to me, Min Yoongi."

"Me? What about you?" Yoongi whined, "My heart won't calm down. I'm so incredibly happy and overwhelmed and all I can think about is how much I want to spend all day kissing you," he said and Seokjin raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Hyung, you make me really nervous okay? I'm sure future me still feels the same. You make me happy and sad and excited and scared and I care about you so-"

Seokjin pulled him into a hug.

"You're really sweet, Yoongi," he whispered before he moved back, lifted his hand and tilted the younger's chin up. Seokjin leaned forward and kissed Yoongi's forehead, "Past me would have a fit if they thought future me stole kisses."

"That doesn't make sense."

"You might be overwhelmed by how good of a kisser I've become," he teased and Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Oh trust me, I've gotten much better. We have lots of practice." The statement turned the rapper into a wide eyed flustered mess. "I should go," he said ," and don't worry, if you ask me to just lay in bed and give you kisses all day, I'll do it. I know me."

Yoongi coughed and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I'll see you in a bit, Yoongi," he said before he disappeared. Yoongi took a deep breath before the door opened and past Seokjin walked in.

"Sorry! Manager hyung took a while," he said with a shy smile. Yoongi smiled back and reached out his hand. Seokjin took it before he pulled Yoongi closer, "What were we doing again?"

"Shut up and kiss me," Yoongi mumbled and Seokjin giggled before he did just that.

Meanwhile, older Seokjin appeared in front of another wall.

"Oh God damn it, where the-"

"Hyung!"

Seokjin turned around and is surprised when he found himself pulled backwards, turned around and engulfed in a hug by one Min Yoongi.

“I’m sorry,” he said with a sigh, “I didn’t meant to make you upset.”

"I know," Seokjin said before he placed his hands on Yoongi's shoulders and pushed him back slightly to look at him, "I'm sorry I shouted.”

Seokjin smiled before he restedh is hand behind Yoongi’s head and leaned forward.

“Hyung, I’m so-“

“Just relax, okay?” the older said casually and Yoongi felt a sense of deja vu hit him before Seokjin leaned down and lightly pressed their lips together. They pulled apart briefly and stared before Seokjin spoke again. “I saw our first kiss.”

“Oh. I remember that,” he said, “I was worried I was going to do something stupid for days so I was self conscious for weeks.”

“I distracted you with my amazing kissing skills though didn’t I?”

“You did,” Yoongi said with a pout. “Do you mind showing me again?”

“We should probably talk this out first.”

“Yeah.”

“I love you a lot, you know?” Seokjin said before he cupped the younger’s face.

“I love you too,” Yoongi said, “so much, hyung,” he added before he slightly tiptoed and kissed him again.

“Okay, talk time.”

“Kisses first?”

“How about kisses in between?”

“Deal.”
