Penny thought about death — how it lingered on your body like sex. And she knew that if Skip were to die, she wouldn’t be the only one carrying his death.
She thought about guilt. Thought about those other girls hearing he was dead. Their shoulders would slump in relief, and then their shoulders would curl forward with the guilt of it.
She thought about her own shoulders at that age — how they had shrunk in on themselves.

Draco Malfoy likes his dull, monotonous, muggle life just fine, thanks for asking. He undeniably doesn't like his neighbour, Hermione Granger. He definitely doesn't hookup with her on his birthday. He absolutely doesn't get ghosted by her afterwards. He most certainly doesn't overhear something odd and walk into her flat only to see a very pregnant Granger going into labour in her kitchen. Surely, that would be ridiculous, right?

Draco and Hermione are neighbours and hookup, she gets pregnant and hides it from him until he hears her going into labour and tries to help.
