Work Text:

Hizashi always swears his head off in private, but he’s pretty good at controlling his swearing in public. So whenever something goes wrong at UA or out on the streets, he ends up resorting to ridiculous curses and insults.

Such as one day at UA, when Shouta is woken up by Nemuri in the faculty lounge and he snaps at her.

“Get off. I need my sleep.”

“Come on, Shouta, don’t be like that,” Hizashi says, wandering over.

“Oh shut up, Hizashi,” Shouta mutters without opening his eyes.

“Ooh, someone’s in a bad mood!”

“Yeah, that’s what happens when I don’t get enough sleep.”

“You’re hilarious when you’re grouchy, Shou.”

Watching this conversation from the sidelines, Nemuri grins. These two are so entertaining when they bicker.

When Shouta opens his eyes and sees this, he glares at her. “Stop it.”

“Why don’t you make me?”

“You two are so annoying,” Shouta groans. “Leave me alone.”

Hizashi crouches down so their faces are closer together, nudging Shouta’s shoulder. “Hey, Shou?”

“What?” Shouta glares at him.

And Hizashi is grinning as he says, “Stop being such a stupid head.”

And Nemuri hugs him and howls with laughter, and Shouta rolls his eyes.
