All Might is AFO, pretended to be the avrual yagi toshinori for funsies, while making the real guy into The Afo from Kamino. Then he turns izuku into a noumu, though a highly advanced one, and izuku struggles with needing to kill all might

Now this is a traitor fic! The reveal is incredibly wild, but it justifies itself. Izuku becomes wrecked in the aftermath, and 1A has to pull him out of his depression. It has themes of trust and questioning himself, which i love, and it’s topped off with heavy angst.
