Chapter Text
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the banging headache that I had. Instinctively I attempt to curl up only to find out that I couldn’t pull my arms together. They had been handcuffed together to the barred headboard of the bed I was laying on.
After unsuccessfully attempting to break out of the cuff by pulling it, I spin around so that I can get a good look at it without breaking my arms in the process. I must say that after a 10-second thorough examination, the only conclusion I can draw an astounding solution. This is in fact, just a regular old handcuff. Well, time to break someone's property. I don't want to burn myself so I guess I'll freeze it and just sma- wait where's my ice?
Oh goodie, no quirk. Midoriya said something about that yakuza group having bullets that took away your quirk. The effect is either permanent or temporary. Option A. Panic, Option B. Suppress. Option B has never failed me before. I'll deal with that later.
So, I've been kidnapped and my quirk has been taken away, possibly forever. What happened exactly?
Ummm, I was out with my friends. Watching a rerun of some film that Uraraka really wanted to see. I fell asleep, wait. Was I kidnapped the- no I remember Midoriya waking me up when he was screaming. Why did he want to watch a horror movie if he's so easily frightened? The movie finished. We all got split up. Uraraka showed me the way out aaand then I got stung in my leg.
So a sleep dart? Uraraka saw me, so at least everyone knows exactly when I disappeared. I'm kinda tired. There's also nothing to do. Doubt that whoever has access to quirk disablers would make the mistake of letting anybody come and help me if I were to scream. I'll listen if my kidnapper is still here. Might get in trouble if they hear me.

Unless my biological clock is messed up, it should have gone at least 40 minutes by now. So far there hasn't even been a lamp that's made a sound. I'll just wait for another 40, just in case.

Yeah, the coast is clear.
"HEY! CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME?!"

"I'M 15 YEARS OLD AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM."

I could tell any potential listeners that father would probably pay a lot of ransom money. Wouldn't they just use me as a method to get underneath my father's skin? Yeah, on second thought I'll avoid that.
I'm really tired. However, were I to fall asleep then the kidnapper could do anything while I'm unconscious. This may be tiresome, but it sure is necessary.
After a couple of hours, I can hear a door being opened. It sounds quite distant, probably one floor down or on the other side of the house. The footsteps are lazy, taking their time to get to wherever the goal is. Uh oh. That was the sound of a bag with a lot of metal pieces inside it. It could be tools for- no, suppress. Calm down. It wasn't put down gently so whoever it was isn't all too excited on- the kidnapper is walking up the stairs. And the sound is getting louder. Do I pretend to be asleep? Yeah, I could get the drop on them if he tries to move me somewhere. There aren’t any light clinking noises, they don't seem to be carrying the bag.
The door to this room is opened. They aren't moving, just staring. It's difficult to pretend to be asleep due to the tension. God, I can't ease into this. The guy is walking up to my right side. Yet again, there is only silence.

DONK
There was a loud metal sound. It startled me and naturally, I opened my eyes and pulled away from the source.
I looked up towards the assailant. There is no way in hell I'd forget his face. Dabi. One of the villains that kidnapped Bakugou.
"So you're finally awake," Dabi remarked. “What’s the matter? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
I shoot him a glare and ask him. “Why did you kidnap me?”
“...” He doesn’t seem all to keen on answering. "Dunno felt like it, I guess."
Wha-
"Do you want to recruit me?" Clench my fist and staring directly at him showing how I’m not going to be pushed around. "Like what you did with Bakugou?"
Dabi shrugs. "Do you wanna be a villain?"
"No," I answer immediately.
"Okay cool," he stuffs his hand into the pockets of his pants, still keeping his shoulders up high.
"What kind of answer is that?" Unfolding my fist I realise that there's no way I can take this guy seriously.
"The kind that I decide, now," his body relaxes as leans over me, "how long have you been awake?"
"Just now-"
"So a couple of hours."
There's no way that he knows, he's trying to bluff me, make me think that he can see through me.
"Hate to break it to you kid, but it takes more than just some loud noise for that drug to wear off."
Okay, maybe not.
"What are you going to do about it?" I need to find out something, he's not being very cooperative.
"So it was a couple of hours, damn, maybe I put in too little."
Fuck, it was a bluff. Damn it, how can I let myself be on his terms.
"Ahh, don't be like that little Shouto," Dabi straightens himself, "I think it's just adorable when you're trying to play 5D chess. Don't let me stop you."
God this guy is annoying. Why the hell is he acting this way?
"What time is it?" I question him.
"3 AM."
"I can see daylight coming from outside this room."
"It's the lamp."
"Why was it on when you were out then?"
"I like it."
"Are you always going to lie?"
Once again, he simply shrugs.
Dabi perks his lip and raises his eyebrows. "I have no idea what you're talking about." After one or two seconds of silence, he turns around and exits the room, leaving the door open. Therin leaving me alone once more.
