Work Text:
Even if it was a special occasion for the school, it didn't change the fact that Aizawa didn't want to be here. There were too many people, too many eyes. He didn't mind teaching, because there weren't many people around at any one given time, and generally his students were all doing some kind of assignment or training and weren't looking at him. Then again, there was one person he could see in the crowd of people that he had never minded looking at him.
Present Mic stood a ways away, being practically fawned over by fans of his that had shown up for the festival today. It wasn't uncommon for the blond to be surrounded by people when he was in his hero costume, fans of his radio show or those that loved him as a hero being drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Then again, it seemed like Aizawa had caught the tail end of the encounter, because Hizashi was suddenly waving and walking away. Everyone in the group looked upset, but separated to enjoy the rest of the festival.
Suddenly, the raven's phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, glancing at the screen. It was a text from Hizashi, and curiosity had him unlocking his phone to read it. “When you have a sec, meet me at our usual place” the message read, followed by a winky face. Aizawa pushed down the flush that threatened to creep onto his face, shoving his phone back into his pocket. Their usual place...
An explosion followed by shouting dragged the erasure hero out of his thoughts, and he headed over to one of his student's booths to deal with an unruly Bakugo, who was shouting at Midoriya for something or other. Aizawa really hoped this wouldn't take long.
“This is risky, even for you.” The erasure hero muttered in protest when his mouth was free, giving the blond in front of him a halfhearted glare. “We're supposed to be working.”
Hizashi just chuckled, leaning in and kissing Aizawa's nose. “Maybe, but I wasn't gonna be able to keep my hands to myself until we got home. Wanted to kiss you now.” He purred in a, for once, quiet voice. Not that the raven could blame him for it, this thing between them was a secret from even their peers. “Besides, your students can handle the booths on their own for a few minutes. Or are you saying you don't trust them with something so simple?”
It was a joke, of course. The blond knew that he trusted his students, especially after the USJ incident. They had held their own remarkably well, battling villains with somewhat ease. “Of course I do. I just don't trust you to keep your hands to yourself for very long.” Aizawa snapped back, voice holding no real malice in it.
Hizashi put a hand over his heart in mock hurt, giving a horribly acted look of surprise. “You don't think I can restrain myself?” He asked the erasure hero, voice raising just a little before it went back to nearly silent. “Shouta, I'm hurt...”
“I know you can't, dumbass.” The raven muttered back, but he still dragged the voice hero back for yet another kiss. There was a bit of a thrill to it, the thought of being caught like this behind the training building with their tongues down one another's throats. Maybe that was why they didn't just tell everyone, because this was so much better than just kissing and holding hands in public where everyone could see. Because Hizashi was an idol that was adored by all, but not one of his 'listeners' knew that he was here making out with a proverbial train wreck of a human being.
Said blond brought his hands up, tangling them in the mess of raven hair on top of Aizawa's head. He tugged ever so slightly, making the erasure hero hum against his lips. The raven was finding himself agreeing with Hizashi more and more with every passing second, he wasn't completely sure he could have waited until the end of the day for this. Luckily for both of them, they didn't have to. Even if they would have to go back out into the world in a few minutes, for now they could pretend they were the only two people in the world.
“Hey, has anyone seen Aizawa-sensei? Isn't he supposed to be watching over us?” The pink skinned girl asked, leaning backwards on the booth counter with a bored expression as she stared upside down at the crowd. “I mean, I know we can handle the booths on our own, but he is our teacher right?”
Yaoyorozu sighed, pausing in her chopping to look around for herself. Mina was right, the erasure hero was no where to be seen. The dark haired girl went back to what she was doing. “He's probably off somewhere with Yamada-sensei. I mean, he did show up right before Aizawa-sensei disappeared, right?”
Mina giggled then, righting herself and grinning a bit. “Isn't their relationship a little unprofessional? I know that pro heroes date all the time, but to sneak off together during school?” She giggled again, covering her mouth. There was the sound of an explosion from a few stalls down, and Bakugo was yelling about something once again.
“Get back to work, Mina, those dumplings aren't going to cook themselves.” Yaoyorozu told the pink skinned girl, completely ignoring her questions. If Aizawa wasn't here, then she would just have to manage the booths in his absence.
