“Bro! Look over here!”
The raven-haired boy turned, and Denki excitedly flashed the tickets he’d been waiting to see for the past few weeks. Ever since he heard the tour would be coming nearby, he jumped at the chance and bought tickets. It was important, after all.
“I got the gang tickets for Fumi’s first tour for his own album!” Bouncing over to Sero, he pressed one into his chest. “This one is yours, keep it close! I’m going to go tell everybody else.”
Sero nodded, his signature grin as bright and happy as always. But, as the blond bounced off towards the rest of the people in their group, he couldn’t help but feel as if Denki was the brightest. Because that was it, wasn’t it? He was a bolt of energy and kindness in their group, because even with all the literal manifestations of sunshine he knew, Denki was always there. Constant. And for that, he smiled.
Originally, you could attribute the beginning of their band to Denki. He was the one who constantly pestered Kyouka, begging to have the artist let them all do a few gigs together. She did, and before the twelve of them knew it, they had all became their own group- running, managing, and performing. Sure, it was really just five of them creating the music, but being apart of the crew, the backup dancers, even Hitoshi’s relentless management and pulling them out of messes made them what they were. And it was all due to that smiling ball of sunshine.
Maybe they could have figured it out all on their own. They were just a bunch of high school students without any sense for the world, maybe they’d all have come together to figure things out. Maybe they’d have all gone separate ways, never to think of eachother again. But as the teen watching his friend smiles, as he watched him flap his arms excitedly when Katsuki took the ticket from him- that was enough. Because Denki had brought them here. And it was wonderful.
