Their hands intertwined as they headed up the stairs of the apartment block, the two Forbidden lovers laughed and chattered about various subjects. They then stopped just outside of the small and cramped apartment Keigo owned, the taller of the two wrapping his arms around the smallers' waist and pulled him close. He leaned down and their lips met for a brief moment before Dabi pulled away and smiling softy down onto the hero.
"You're a beautiful little thing, you know that?"
He hummed with a sweet tone.
The two young men wandered through the doors of their small, one bedroom apartment, chuckling lightly as they discussed the recent events that had went on previously that day.
"I'll go put the food on,"
Keigo chuckled with a warm grin. He placed a quick peck on Dabi's cheek and quickly hurried himself to the kitchen to begin making their dinner.
As the ash blonde hero headed off into the kitchen with a hum as Dabi switched on the speaker in the living room. He connected his phone to it and began to play a slightly more romantic playlist that he usually would- but to be fair it wasn't really difficult considering 90% of the time all he listened to was hard Rock and heavy metal. However, there were still a few of his personal favourite songs in there. The first song to come on was Love by Frank Sinatra, creating a calm and comforting atmosphere as he began to light a few candles (vanilla scented, if you were curious).
Keigo began to prepare the food, taking out some vegetables from the fridge as well as a large chicken. He set them out onto the kitchen counter and took out a knife from the large wooden block beside him. He was about to begin to cut up the vegetables when he felt two arms snake around his slim waist. Dabi had silently crept up behind him and was now standing with his head resting on Hawks shoulder, taking a quick glance at the food being prepared.
"Sunday roast as usual?"
"Well it is a Sunday,"
Hawks chuckled as he placed the knife down for a moment to speak with Dabi.
"Can't you just come and sit down for five minutes? We've been in for not even five minutes and you're already slaving away in the kitchen. Chill, birdy."
Dabi began to pepper him with sweet and gentle kisses, Hawks quickly giving in,
"Fine, fine. I'll come through."
Keigo laughed as he stepped away from the kitchen counter and began to wander towards the living room after Dabi. The room was dimly lit, only a few candles to illuminate the room. In the background music was faintly playing.
"wow- What's all this for? You trying to get in my pants again?"
Hawks questioned as he glanced back towards Dabi with a laugh, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
"I was just thinking, since you're always doing such nice stuff for me, I could maybe do something in return?"
"How very gentlemanly of you, Dabi."
The two both grinned as Dabi slipped his arm around Hawk's waist and pulled him closer till they were chest to chest. Blue met Hazel as their eyes met, Dabi gazing lovingly down upon him. He slipped one arm around Hawks' waist and with the other he took his hand.
"Care to dance, love?"
Dabi hummed with a smirk, a faint pink brushing across the shorter male's cheeks. Keigo was completely dumbfounded, never once in all the time he'd known the Villain had he ever offered to dance, or even set up such a romantic date.
"Of course, my dear,"
Keigo replied with a chuckle, his arm running up Dabi's arm before stopping just below the shoulder. As the music changed to the next song- Dancing in the Dark by Joji- they began moving together in triple time, one foot after the other. The music played slowly, the two of them slipping around the room in perfect sync.
"You're not too bad of a dancer,"
Hawks cooed sweetly.
"I could say the same about you, bird brains,"
Dabi teased with a smirk. A tight grip on Keigo's slender waist, Dabi allowed him to dip backwards before pulling him back up into a rough, yet passionate kiss. It lasted for what felt been a lifetime, however in reality it was only a mere few seconds.
"Thank you, hero.."
"For what? I haven't done anything?"
"Oh, you've done more than you could ever imagine for us at the League, so thank you."
Keigo was about to pull himself away from Dabi. Something just didn't seem right in what he was saying. However, before he got the chance, he heard an awful sound- like a sharp knife cutting into raw, wet meat. It was even stranger when he came to the realisation that the sound was coming from inside his own body.
A moment later, the pain then hit him. It wasn't a gentle stinging either- it was burning, an intense and firey burning spreading across his entire body like a wildfire. He felt like molten iron or rock had been splashed against his body.
It didn't take long before his brain was the connection. He'd been stabbed. His body was going numb, and fast too, he couldn't even pinpoint the place the knife had met his flesh. He wasn't quite sure where, however it seemed it was most likely in the back.
"Uugghh, D-dabi-"
He let out a feeble excuse of a groan, his body shaking viciously. With the little remaining strength he had in his frail body, he made attempt to escape and clawed at the inky haired villain's arm, but he was only met with the knife twisting deeper into his body.
He screamed out in unbearable pain, his eyes wide as he panted heavily. Blood.. Blood.. Losing so much blood.. Just as the blade was pulled from his back, he collapsed into a crumpled heap on the floor, his limbs twisted unnaturally- a puppet with its strings cut.
His life ebbing away by the millisecond, Keigo's body went completely numb. His eyes, half lidded and filled with tears, moved shakily towards the direction of his attacker. Yet, when he saw them, he felt nothing: not anger, not pain, not sadness. Nothing. The numbness that had taken over his body then claimed his mind, and he fell into utter darkness..
"Thank you for your help and cooperation, hero."
