   Summary

   Richie buried his face in Eddie’s neck, shutting his eyes tight as if that would make it less real, make him stay right where he was. Eddie did the same, having to go up on his tip-toes to plant a soft kiss on the skin between Richie’s neck and shoulder. He felt the older boy sigh, holding him tighter if possible.

   “I don’t want to go.” Eddie whispered. “I want to stay with you, Richie.”

   “I know, Eds.” Richie whispered back, and Eddie could have sworn he heard his voice break as he said his name. “I don’t want you to go either.”
