    Summary

Before they go to bed, Lan Wangji says into the darkness, “I think about your old body. I do not miss it.”

Wei Wuxian laughs, even though he knows Lan Wangji can see through his fake laughs. The thing is, though, that Wei Wuxian does miss his old body. He’d been just that much taller before, and he used to be able to raise one eyebrow just like that—well. It’s not doing him any good thinking on it now.

(or: Wei Wuxian hangs around the Cloud Recesses and tries to deal with his body grief)
