The year was about to come to an end, and that meant hectic schedules for the King of the Kingdom of Corea.
“Your Majesty will be giving a speech publicly in the Seoul Arts Center at eleven, an hour before the new year sets in. That is all for 31 December 2019,” Jo Yeong spoke in his usual clean tone.
“I got it. You can go now; it’s quite late,” the King, Lee Gon, replied with a sigh as he tapped his temple with a finger.
The man dressed in black noticed this, without doubt. It seemed to him that the King was not in a very good mood those days. Rather, he has been in a slump lately.
“Your Majesty, if there is anything bothering you, please do tell me,” he said, his expression turning concerned. Ah, there it is. The Captain of the Royal Guard only ever shows emotion on his face when something comes up concerning the King.
Lee Gon did not respond, giving way for the other to continue. “I have been following you since I was merely a four-year-old. I am your Unbreakable Sword. The Manpasikjeok and Four Tiger Sword are nothing compared to me. You only have to say the word, Your Majesty, and I will take action.”
The noble raises a brow at this. He was not intending on involving the younger in his matters further for the day but it seemed as if he himself had chosen to get involved. Now that was something.
“How bold of you, Yeong. But have I ever told you that confidence turns me on?” Gon retorted as he rose from his cushioned armchair and walked up to his Guard in a swift stride.
With one hand, he gently tilted Yeong’s chin up and pressed their lips together in a manner that very often looks scandalous.
The older pulls away for a second only to say, “Kiss me back.” And his most devoted follower obliged.
Gon’s ravishing tongue. Yeong’s tiny whimpers that he had failed to suppress. Heavy breaths.
“You watch me get dressed every day, and yet I’ve never even seen your chest bare. Don’t you think that’s unfair?” the King teased with a smirk on his handsome face. He then tugged his Guard’s outer coat off, letting it fall onto the floor freely. His necktie was next along with his vest and the buttons of his white inner blouse.
"Tongue-tied, aren't we?" Gon murmured against Yeong's soft skin. The latter's body has went completely stiff, unmoving, frozen on the spot. But who wouldn't go numb when a King is literally peppering your neck with love bites?
"I'll do the talking then."
The noble continued to whisper sweet nothings as he ravished his Guard's body. His mouth and hands are expertised--you would wonder how this man is so good at it when he had never dated properly before.
"I've been having the nightmare for several nights now. That's why..."
This is the reason, Yeong thought amidst the heavenly stimulation.
A few times in a year, the hurtful events of Lee Gon's dark childhood would come visit him in his sleep. Memories of his late father, the former King Lee Ho, and his allegedly dead uncle, Traitor Prince Lee Lim.
"You're not alone anymore, Your Majesty."
The older smiled softly at this as he felt some ease for the first time in days. "Yeong, will you stay in my chambers tonight?"
And the person who loves him the most in the entire universe nods his head.
