Summary
After Legolas and Tauriel leave for Raven Hill, Thranduil must return to the Elven camp to tend to the wounded after the healers travelling with the army were ambushed by orcs. Thranduil works tirelessly through the night that follows, exhausting himself in the process. Riddled with guilt and grief, Thranduil blames himself for the deaths and injuries of so many of his people.
A lot of angst and grief. Thranduil and Legolas have an honest conversation. It’s very sad, but optimistic too.
