The initial meeting of Kamado Tanjiro and Tomioka Giyuu was a mess caused by unusual circumstances. While one is just a village boy who recently lost his entire family, the other is tied down by his grievances and wishes to retire from his role as a demon slayer. Their fates become entangled after they make a deal, one promises to train and pass the Final Selection and become the Water Hashira's successor, while the other takes on a role of a teacher.Ultimately as years pass and their goals become more clear peculiar feelings spark along with uncertainty. This is a story about forming new lifelong friendships, journey and day to day struggles of a person that is afraid to keep living on after the loss of his family.
