Chapter Text
My dearest Giyuu,
It's been too long since I've seen your beautiful face. Is there any chance of you coming to stay for a few days? I understand that you're very busy with Pillar work, but you haven't visited since new year and I know Urokodaki would love to see you as well.
I hope that you've been getting along with your fellow Pillars, and that Kocho hasn't been too relentless in her teasing lately. Nothing really interesting has happened here for a while, although Urokodaki did get push me into the waterfall yesterday when he found out that I taught Tanjiro how to swear (it was worth it though). Oh, in his last letter Tanjiro told us that he's been writing to you too, but you never reply. You're so rude Giyuu! I can't believe that you always make time to write to me but not to our son!
Anyway that's all I have time to write, Urokodaki's calling me to make dinner. Please reply quickly and please visit soon!
All my love,
Sabito.
(P.S. don't forget to write to Tanjiro!)
-----
My darling Sabito,
Thank you for your last letter. I'm sorry, but I'm very busy at the moment and I think Oyakata-sama would prefer it if the Pillars didn't make unnecessary trips to the other side of the country. That said, there's nothing stopping you from coming to visit me here at headquarters. In fact, I think you would be a nice change from Kocho telling me I have no friends and Rengoku shouting at me every two seconds (and they're probably the nicest ones here). I know that Urokodaki probably wouldn't want to make the trip all the way here, but that just means that we can have the whole Water Pillar Estate to ourselves, so we can do whatever we want.
As for Tanjiro, you should have focused more on actually training him than teaching him to swear. He probably learns enough from his friends without you adding to his vocabulary. Anyway, I don't have enough time to write to both you and Tanjiro, so I'll gladly write to him as long as you don't bombard me with letters wondering why I haven't written to you. And he's not our son! Don't say that Sabito!
Write back soon so I can tell the others if you're coming to stay, not that they'd really care anyway. I hope you can come. I miss you so much. I love you.
Yours truly,
Giyuu.
------
Dear Giyuu,
Of course I'd love to come stay with you! I can't wait! You're right about Urokodaki though, he says that he'll wait to see you until you come home (I asked him if it's because he's too old and frail to make the journey and he pushed me into the waterfall again). I'm kind of happy that he's not coming though because that means we can do the deed in peace without the fear of him walking in on us hahaha. I can't wait to meet all your friends as well. It's going to be so much fun!
But don't stop writing to me! Tanjiro actually has other friends that he can talk to, but you're like my only friend so I'd be lonely without you and your letters. Maybe he's not biologically or legally our son, but we love him just the same! And Nezuko is our daughter!
Anyway, I'm able to come anytime. If I leave tomorrow I should be there by Monday. If that doesn't suit you please reply as soon as possible, so I don't travel half way across the country for no reason. See you soon!
Yours faithfully,
Sabito.
------
My beloved Sabito,
I am delighted to hear that you're coming to visit. It does suit me for you to arrive on Monday. You can stay for around a week, if you'd like. Send Urokodaki all my best wishes and tell him that I'll see him soon (and please don't say ''do the deed'', it sounds like something Urokodaki would say). Also, they're not really my friends , they're just my colleagues. When I told Kocho that you were coming to stay she told me she never thought she'd see the day that I actually have friends. Oh, she also said that she would invite all the Pillars to stay at the Butterfly Mansion on Monday so they can all meet you. Don't worry though, I told her that you'd be tired after your journey and that you'd prefer to just stay at the Water Pillar Estate.
I'll keep writing to you if you stop saying that Tanjiro and Nezuko are our children. Anyway, I can't wait to see you. Travel safely and send me a letter as soon as you can to let me know you're on your way.
Ever yours,
Giyuu.
------
Darling Giyuu,
I am nearly at headquarters now, I should be there around midday tomorrow. I can't wait to see you! Please tell Kocho that we'd love to stay in the Butterfly Mansion! It's so nice of her to offer us to stay with her! I want to get to know all your friends (I think they are really your friends, you just don't want to admit it!).
I'll see you tomorrow!
All my heart,
Sabito.
------
Beloved Sabito,
I nearly got out of staying at the Butterfly Mansion, but thanks to you, we have to stay the night there now! I was reading your last letter when Kocho took it off me and read it! I'm actually so annoyed Sabito! I can barely put up with her during the day, and now we have to stay the night in her house? She also said that your letter was ridiculously cheesy and cringey to read, which is probably the most accurate thing she's ever said to me.
Anyway, I'm still excited to see you tomorrow, even if Kocho's going to be there annoying us the whole time.
Yours devotedly and lovingly,
Giyuu.
