oh, shoto... uncanon in that shoto at his core is someone who wants to save people -- shoto at his core is a hero, but this fic is so dear to me :( <3
being so tired, wanting nothing more than to rest, to live a peaceful, quiet life, and being unable to. people following you everywhere, unable to understand.
"you could be better. you could be something amazing" yeah, i know. i know i could be better. i know i could be something incredible. i know i could be at the top, doing praiseworthy work, with people looking up to me. but that's the thing isn't it? i don't particularly want to. i wouldn't be happy there. i just want to life a quiet, simple life. i wish i could escape it all. everyone i know expects things of me. i can't run from it. it'll chase me forever.
