Tom and Sabine looked down at them, almost like they were trying not to smile.
"So. Could you two explain this?" Tom asked, a lil bit too giddy to be taken seriously.
"Umm...," Mari started, "... its.. those fake news articles.. pshh... yeah never trust those tabloids!! Ahaha..ha..." she trailed of SO UNCONVINCINGLY LIKE WTF MARI
She quickly glanced over at Adrien for backup, then turned her gaze back to her parents so that she looked completely inconspicuous. When she waited for at least 30 seconds and failed to receive such backup from her... friend?... boyfriend?... even I don't know.
She turned around and saw Adrien sitting hunched over.
"Heh. Its no use Mari. We completely disobeyed your parents rules. I understand if you would like me to leave now." The last part directed at her parents. "I'll go and pack up my clothes."
"No son, were not kicking you out. we just dont like seeing articles of you freaking making out with mah baby gurl."
Oof everyone blushed at that.
