During the Battle of Atlas, Ozma failed. The Gods intervened, giving him a second chance with all his knowledge intact, but the world changed around him in turn. New enemies and altered allies quickly find themselves at Beacon Academy, including a rather different Team RWBY and JNPR.
In a universe altered irrevocably—sometimes in small ways, sometimes in larger ways—by the machinations of the Gods of our worlds, can a simple soul still find victory? Or will we all fall before the whims of fate?
This tells the story up to the Fall of Beacon of my AU, the Abyssal Infinitum 'verse, with slow-burning canon ships like Bumblebee and Renora, but centering on a Newspaper (Weiss/Ruby/Blake) Love Triangle. Unlike similar re-imaginings like Scars, this story will be bleak-ish but not grimdark, and stick pretty rigidly to on-screen events as they happened; telling stories that mostly happen between what's depicted on-screen.
