“You really think he’ll like it, Natsu?” Shouto asked his brother.
“Trust me,” Natsu assured, wrapping his arm around Shouto’s shoulder as they walked. “He’s going to love it. I’m an expert at this kinda stuff.”
Shouto eyes him skeptically.
“Right. Then why didn’t you buy one like it for yourself?”
“Oh, you know, I-I did something like it last year. Didn’t want to do the same thing again,” Natsu stammered.
Shouto glanced down at Natsu‘s stomach.
“You have another stash of Fuyumi’s cookies, don’t you?”
His breath was suddenly cut off when the arm around his shoulders shifted up to his neck and yanked him into Natsu‘s side, smothering his face.
“What was that?” Natsu asked.
“Can’t...breathe…” Shouto choked out.
“I am a pretty good big brother, aren’t I.”
“Need...air…”
“So great, in fact, that my little brother is getting me the new Call of Duty for Christmas.”
“Deal,” Shouto gasped, sucking in lungfuls of air when he was freed.
“What did we learn today, Shouto?” Natsu questioned, returning his arm to rest on Shouto’s shoulders.
He cleared his throat. “Don’t comment on your weight gain.”
“...I’ll take it since I know you’ll just get snarkier if I keep trying.”
“Yes,” Shouto agreed.
Natsu sighed.
“What am I going to do with you?” he wondered aloud.
“Buy me soba.”
“I knew you’d say that,” Natsu deadpanned.
“Soba is good for you,” Shouto noted, “and low in calories.”
Natsu narrowed his eyes.
“I don’t like what you’re implying.”
“I’m just giving you facts, Natsu, like any good little brother would.”
“Uh huh, sure.”
They stopped when they reached the gates to U.A.
“Thanks for helping, Natsu. I’m actually looking forward to trying the treat for trick for the first time.”
“It’s trick or treat,” he corrected, a look Shouto couldn’t decipher crossing his face.
“Oh, right. I still don’t think I get it. Why would you want to do tricks in your costume? I only want the treats.”
Natsu chuckled at him and pulled him into a hug.
“I love you, Shouto.”
Shouto returned the hug enthusiastically.
“Love you too.” He paused. “You’re so soft.”
“That better’ve been a comment on my hugging skills and not anything else,” Natsu warned.
“Mhmm,” came Shouto’s muffled reply.
“Alright, go now, and text me pictures! He’ll love it!” he called as Shouto walked through the gate and back to the dorms.

“Alright, who’s ready to get some candy!!” Kaminari shouted.
“Me!” everyone but Katsuki cheered.
“God you guys are so extra,” Katsuki mocked.
“C’mon, Bakubro, get in the Halloween spirit!” Kirishima urged him.
“I am!” Katsuki argued. “Why else would I be dressed like this?” he asked, gesturing to his costume. He was wearing tattered and ragged black clothing spattered with red dye.
“I’m a fucking serial killer!”
“Oh, I thought you were a zombie,” Uraraka cut in. “Shouldn’t you like have a weapon or something?”
“What the hell would you know?” he retorted. “And what are you supposed to be, huh? You look like a dung fly.”
She puffed out her cheeks in irritation.
“I’m a butterfly!”
“A dead one,” he taunted.
Whatever she was going to say was cut off by squeals from Ashido and Hagakure. Uraraka gasped once she saw what the girls were looking at.
Katsuki craned his neck over his shoulder and almost had a stroke when he saw what they were all gawking at.
Shouto was dressed like an angel, if the angel starred in pornos. He wore a gold headband, necklace, and bracelets; a pair of white wings that strapped over the top of his shoulders and under his armpits; brown winged sandals; no shirt; and a sheet of white cloth tied low on his hips that ended just above his knees.
“Oh, wow, Todoroki, your costume is great!” Ashido gushed.
“Yes, it is! Very...yes,” Hagakure sighed dreamily.
“That’s a lot of skin,” Asui observed.
“Man, why does the guy who likes guys get all the girls?” Kaminari whined.
“I like your wings, Shouto. They’re very soft,” Momo said, stroking the feathers.
“Thank you.”
“STOP LOOKING AT HIM!!!” Katsuki screamed. He pushed everyone out of the way and stood in front of Shouto, spreading his arms out to hide him as much as possible.
“And you! Why the hell are you dressed like a stripper!?”
“Do I look like a stripper?” Shouto asked, looking down at himself.
“Yes!”
“Oh.”
“Yeah, oh,” Katsuki parroted back at him.
“Natsu said you’d love it.”
“W-w-what!? ‘The hell?? Your brother picked this out,” Katsuki stuttered.
“Yes.”
“I’ll kill him!”
“Hmm, I wouldn’t have to buy him Call of Duty if you did…” Shouto pondered to himself.
“I, for one, love it!” Ashido chimed in, fiddling with Shouto’s bracelet.
“HANDS OFF PINKY!”
Katsuki snatched Shouto’s hand away and held it protectively against his chest. He felt another arm snake around his waist and a warm body press against his back.
“So,” Shouto started, his mouth brushing Katsuki’s ear, “do you love it?”
He shivered and felt his face heat up.
“Yeah, Bakugou, do you love it?” Sero smirked
“Fuck you, you stupid mummy! I’ll blast you back to the stone age!”
“Ok, I think it’s time to get going,” Kirishima interrupted, moving to stand in front of Katsuki. “Has anyone seen Midoriya?”
“Here! I’m here!” Midoriya panted. “Sorry, I couldn't get my wig to fit.”
“What are you, Seto Kaiba’s ugly twin brother?”
“K-Kacchan! So mean,” Midoriya blubbered.
“I think you look nice, Midoriya.”
“Thanks!”
“Alright let’s goo!” Kaminari urged, running out the door with his fist in the air.

Their class had been at it for almost an hour now. Everyone except Shouto and Katsuki had rung the doorbell and shouted “trick or treat”. Shouto had declined thus far, saying he was already enjoying himself and he didn’t want to take candy away from them. Katsuki didn’t want candy, “He’s dieting,” Shouto told them as Katsuki screeched, and he needed to focus to “stop perverts from touching my boyfriend”.
“Hey, Todoroki, why don’t you get this next one?” Sero encouraged. “You haven’t done one yet.”
“Yeah! I’ll bet they’ll give you the good stuff!” Kirishima agreed.
“Ok,” he nodded. “I’ll try.”
He walked up the sidewalk to the next house’s porch and rang the doorbell. An older woman answered the door a few seconds later.
“Good ev—oh my.”
“Trick or treat,” Shouto said, holding up his bag.
“You are a treat. This is momma’s lucky night.”
Shouto blinked at her. What an odd thing to say.
“Did you win the lottery?” he asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Ohohoho, yes, yes I did.”
“That’s nice. Congratulations. Do you have any good candy?”
“Yes, yes, this whole bag, in fact,” she gestured to a giant back of expensive looking chocolate. “Could I take a picture of you? You’re my first trick or treater tonight, and I like to do this every year as a tradition. I’ll give you that entire bag,” she offered, a hopeful look on her face.
Shouto’s eyes widened. The whole bag?
“Yes, please.”
“Wonderful!”
She whipped out her phone and snapped several pictures of him then tucker phone back somewhere in her dress.
“Here you are.” She dumped the entire thing into Shouto’s bag, almost filling it to the brim.
“Thank you, miss.”
“No, no, thank you,” she simpered as she shut the door.
“Yo, you were up there a while,” Kaminari said as Shouto walked back to the group. “You get anyth—holy goddamn shit! How??”
“Woah, dude,” Kirishima breathed.
“What’s your secret?” Sero begged. “Was it because you’re shirtless? Should I take mine off, too?”
“Ew, no one wants to see that,” Jirou grimaced.
Uraraka clasped her hands in front of her. “Oh great Todoroki, please bless us with your wisdom. Tell us, how may we become great trick or treaters like you?”
“Oh, well, she said she won the lottery, then she took some pictures of me, and then gave me this whole bag of Godiva chocolate,” Shouto explained.
“Oh, no,” Midoriya whispered.
“WHAT!?!?!?!?!?” Katsuki thundered, his hands letting off so many explosions they sounded like firecrackers.
Kirishima hardened himself and wrapped his arms around Katsuki.
“Calm—”
“I’ll kill that skank!! I’m gonna shove my hands up her muff and blow her to bits!! Fucking bitch! I swear to god—”
Katsuki descended into a long angry, screaming rant, practically frothing at the mouth.
“C’mon dude, let’s—”
“Shut up and let go, Shitty Hair! I’m dressed as a serial killer, and I intend to do some serial killing tonight! I—”
Everyone stopped as they heard the familiar sound of a phone camera clicking and then a quiet “you’re welcome”.
They looked around and saw Shouto waving to two teenage girls, three large bags of candy sitting at his feet.
“I like this,” he told them.
Several windows cracked and two car alarms started blaring from the force of Katsuki’s screams.

“You’re not allowed to go trick or treating ever again!” Katsuki said as he slammed the door to his room shut.
“Bu’ I ‘ad fun,” Shouto
“Don’t talk with your mouth full, you animal!”
“Sorry,” Shouto swallowed. “I’ll wear something less revealing next time.”
“You better.”
“You never did say if you liked it,” Shouto pointed out.
“...”
“Katsuki?”
“...I’ve seen worse, but it’s still bad,” he murmured.
Shouto kept his face blank, but inside he was cheering.
“That’s unfortunate. I suppose I should take it off then.”
Shouto fiddled with the bracelets until they came off and looked Katsuki dead in the eye.
“I wouldn’t want to look bad in front of you,” he whispered, letting the bracelets drop to the floor with a thunk.
Katsuki made a strangled noise when he dropped the sheet and stepped closer. He ran his hands over Katsuki’s chest and down his sides to settle at his waist.
“Trick or treat, Katsuki.”
All he got was a muttered “shit” before Katsuki pressed their mouths together in a harsh kiss.
