Summary
In unearthing the Nomu Factory, the Heroes and police of Japan discovered a body. This was not unexpected, but the nationality and uniform of the corpse in question… that was. Because this failed Nomu wore the uniform of Amestris, a war torn nation from the isolated continent of Atossa, where Quirks and modern electronics had never developed and never worked.
Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.
Or, Edward Elric and Amestris meet the world of Heroes and Villains.

In the shinobi world, loss is commonplace. Likewise, grief is an often-visiting, uninvited guest suffered by survivors. Sayuri's grief is like water, ranging from a gentle rain to a violent flood, but never truly gone. Alternatively, Sasuke's grief is like fire: ceaseless, ever-hungry, and easily triggered. And Naruto's grief is hidden beneath layers of boisterous, attention-grabbing antics. These three survivors' paths converge by being placed on Team 7. A survivor of the Hidden Mist's persecution of kekkei genkai users, a survivor of the Uchiha massacre, and a survivor of the Hidden Leaf's scorn for being the vessel of the Nine-Tailed Fox. And though they've hardly exchanged words before now, they have to learn to function together as a team of people, all changed by their trauma in drastically different ways. Get along, more or less. But Sasuke has to admit, Sayuri is a lot easier to get along with than he could've anticipated.
