    Religious rituals in the Kingdom of Harmen are a beautiful thing: thoughtful sermons, choral music, lots of candles lit in front of lots of statues of the gods.

    Rituals in Kontaria have a slightly different flavour: you are likely to end up stripped naked, bound, pressed against the mud, and have an equally naked friend perform some very intense rites on your body.

    Gabrielle isn't sorry that she's switched. I mean- no disrespect to the Harmen tradition, that choral music really is top notch. But still.
