Work Text:
Apollo adjusted his suit jacket while standing outside the banquet hall.
It was a newly annual Christmas Eve party, held by the Prosecutor's office, for admired legal members. In celebration of the year and all of the trials closed, and the hard work everyone put in together, held at the Gatewater Hotel. And Apollo had never been before.
Mr. Wright and his daughter Trucy, as well as Athena, had already headed inside just ahead of him, but Apollo stood somewhat nervously outside.
He already wasn’t big on parties, especially ones that required a lot of small talk and sipping champagne. It really wasn’t his style. It was an honor to be invited, but he felt himself still feel wary. He really wasn’t much of a social person when it came down to it.
But it was cold outside, Apollo tried to remember if it was supposed to snow tonight or not. He adjusted his jacket again.
Apollo wasn’t in his usual comfortable attire, instead he donned black trousers, a black tie, red vest, and black suit jacket. He had to dig in the back of his closet to find appropriate attire, to spare himself the embarrassment of showing up in his court attire.
Finally, before he was too far behind the Wright’s, he quickly went up the steps and inside the banquette.
To say it was grand would be an understatement, and Apollo had to hide the dazzlement on his face while he pushed past other guests to find where his company had gone off to. The ceiling was high, and the whole room felt like it was coated in gold. Large round tables dotted the floor, leaving a large space in the middle for dancing. On the stage in the back was a classical band playing smooth music.
Apollo felt very out of place.
Weaving through fancy dressed people, Apollo looked around and- there! Apollo spotted Mr. Wright's spikey head, and quickly he dashed towards the table they had settled at.
Trucy spotted him incoming first, and stood waving her hand, “Apollo! There you are” He came to a stop next to her at the large table, “I was starting to think you’d gone and ran away.”
Apollo sheepishly shoved himself into a seat, “N-no! I would never.”
Trucy was wearing a lovely laced light blue dress, with her hair was up in a bun, and her usual red scarf on (it took a matter of convincing from Mr. Wright for her to not wear the cape). Wright next to her, who had been distracted by talking to Athena, was wearing a suit with black suit with a blue button up and a black tie that he looked very sharp in. And Athena herself was wearing a long yellow satin dress with a white shawl. The whole Wright and Co. office was all spruced up.
Trucy clapped her hands together, “It’s SO pretty here! I can’t believe we’ve never been!”
Wright chucked, rubbing the back of his neck, “Well this is our first chance, me back being a lawyer and all.”
“Well I hope we can come every year now, this is awesome.” Athena piped in, leaning on the table.
The gang fell into comfortable chatter, and Apollo mostly just listened, while he admired the scenery again.
The band stopped playing for a moment, and everyone in the large room quieted down. Apollo looked and everyone mostly filtered into seats at tables all around them, while some still stood and lingered in the back. Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth took the stage.
Edgeworth cleared his throat and spoke into the mic, “Hello fellow associates. I thank you for your presence this Christmas Eve, and I hope we all have a lovely evening ahead of us. Thank you, each and every one of you, for all of your hard work this year. For truth and justice. Dinner will be served shortly, and I employ all of you to enjoy this banquet together.”
Prosecutor Edgeworth then exited off stage, and the room filled with applause, the band started up again and chatter rose back up.
Before long waiters scattered around the tabled setting down entrees and beverages to fill up their wine glasses. A smooth red wine was poured into Apollo’s glass before he could deny, and a plate of something that looked like cheese balls but fancier was placed in front of him. He almost felt bad eating it, but it actually tasted pretty good. Pretty soon their plates were replaced with more, something that Apollo was pretty sure was salmon.
He had hardly touched his wine, being drunk was not on his list of plans. Trucy and Mr. Wright had what looked to be grape juice, and Athena was drinking the same red wine has him.
Soon enough people were filling up the main floor, mingling and swaying to the music. Athena had gotten up, saying she wanted to go and find Blackquill, and she had disappeared into the crowd. Trucy seemed to start and feel antsy, and Apollo could tell that they should probably go and mingle as well.
“You kids can go head off,” Wright said, brushing off his suit and looking around, “I should go find Edgeworth. Trucy will you be okay with Apollo?”
“Of course!” She was already jumping up, excitedly.
Apollo grumbled about not being asked about if he’d chaperone, but got up as well. He expected it anyway.
Before he could even say bye to Wright, Trucy had whisked him into the crowd on the floor.
“There are so many people here, ‘Pollo!” Trucy spun, and let out a laugh, not caring about the glances from the guests surrounding them.
“It is a party you know.” He had to smirk at her swaying by herself in a circle, and let himself be pulled into a dance by Trucy.
The music had picked up a bit, and Apollo was not much of a dancer but let himself move awkwardly to the beat. Some other people around them started swaying and moving to the music as well, and Apollo almost felt like he was enjoying himself.
“Hallo! Herr Forehead! Klein Fräulein Wright!”
Apollo heard a familiar voice yell just out of his vision, and he cringed. Why why why.
“Klavier!” Trucy skipped past him to his left, and Apollo turned to look at the new arrival.
Sure enough Klavier Gavin strode up to the small clearing Apollo and Trucy had occupied, and fast behind him was Ema Skye looking bored.
"Why, how nice to see nice to see you two here," Klavier said with a smile, "Enjoying the party I see?"
Klavier stood dressed in an all dark maroon suit with black button up, showing just a bit of collar bone. And what appeared to be black leather boots.
Typical, Apollo though, eyeing the silver chains on his neck.
"Yes! I had finally gotten 'Pollo here on the dance floor." Trucy giggled.
Ema cocked an eyebrow besides Klavier "Apollo? Dancing? Really?" She crossed her arms, "Sad I missed that."
Ema Skye herself was dressed in a dark green pantsuit with a pink blouse and simple black heels. She had a purse slung over her shoulder that Apollo was sure stored her snackoos.
"I was hardly dancing, just enjoying the music." Apollo huffed.
Klavier laughed, and tossed his hair, "Well, we have all night! Plenty of time for dancing."
"You guys can dance all you want, I'll just watch." Ema said, reaching into her bag for more snacks.
Apollo went to agree, but Trucy grabbed him and Klaviers arms, and tugged.
"Lets get closer to the music!" She said, pulling them along, and Ema followed in pursuit.
Trucy pulled them into another small clearing just a few yards away from the band, as they were just beginning to play another song with alot of jazz base.
Trucy made Apollo spin her, and he laughed at her pure enthusiasm, and he found himself moving to the music as well.
Klavier smiled at their display, and he moved his hips to the upbeat music.
Even Ema seemed to be enjoying herself, though she'd hardly admit it, swaying along with them.
"Having fun, Schatz?" Klavier said, leading closer to Apollo.
Apollo looked up at him and gave him his best sour look, "Maybe, I didn't know they'd get a live band to play here."
Klavier put a hand over his heart. "Ach! I haven't seen you this enthusiast about any of my live performances."
"Well I'm not into your kind of music." Apollo said. He hadn't realised but they were moving more in sync together.
"And jazz is?" Klavier did another one of his hair tosses, and Apollo could see the silver earrings that matched his necklaces.
"Maybe."
"Hmmm.." Klavier hummed, looking at him with something in his eye he couldn't quite read.
Before he could ponder that, Trucy tugged hard on his arm, "C'mon!"
Next thing he knew she had them all, including Ema, spinning in a circle together. Apollo held on for dear life to Trucy and Klavier, and they were definitely making quite the scene, but Apollo was besides that and found himself laughing along with them anyway.
Trucy let go of them as the song ended, and Apollo had to keep himself from either tumbling down or into Klavier, but Klavier steadied him by his shoulders.
"T-thank you!" Apollo gasped for air.
"Ach, no problem Herr Forehead." Klavier winked, and Apollo scoffed at him.
The band had started playing a smoother, more piano based song after the upbeat jazz one, and Apollo was thankful for the breather.
Trucy jumped up to them, "Well, I'm parched already! Anyone know where the refreshments are?"
Ema nodded, pointing some way towards the back, "Over there, they should have juice and stuff."
Before Apollo could react, Ema and Trucy basically trotted away into the crowd, disappearing to find drinks, leaving Apollo alone besides Klavier. Great. Not to mention so much for being a good chaperone.
"So, Schatz, been to many banquets before?" Klavier leaned on Apollo's shoulder.
He gave a quick glare up at him before responding, "Well, no. This is my first actually."
"Really? Then I'll take it upon myself to make sure tonight is wonderful." Klavier tucked his long platinum hair behind his ear and smiled down at him
Apollo huffed, "Uh, you really don't have to do that. Like, really."
Klavier chuckled, "I insist. I know this style of events aren't your specialty, so I'd love to keep you company."
"You don't gotta do that, Klavier."
Apollo was just about to brush him off of his shoulder and find where Trucy and Ema ran off to, when the band started a slow, almost romantic song. And Klavier got a look in his eye.
"Oh, no." No, no, no.
Klavier swooped in front of him, offering his hand face up, with a dazzling smile in his face, "Herr Forehead, do you care to join me for this dance?"
"I, er, uh.." Apollo felt himself fluster. Why, why, why.
Something about the way Klavier looked at him, and positioned himself in front of Apollo, offering a dance, he felt mesmerized. He didn't even realize that his hand ended up in Klavier’s.
Other party guests around them had begun slow dancing, and Apollo found himself among them. His left hand was held up by Klaviers, and his other was placed tentatively on his shoulder. He could feel Klavier’s many silver rings on his hand, as he was swayed to the music. Klavier placed his left hand on Apollo’s waist, almost around the small of his back.
They were very close together, closer than they’d ever really been. He could smell the cologne Klavier wore, and feel his broad shoulder under his hand. Klavier’s leather boots had a slight heel to them and it gave him more unfair height on him, Apollo's gaze was about level with his shoulders, and he had to avoid looking at Klavier’s slightly exposed chest.
“I don’t know how to dance.” Apollo said, awkwardly.
He really didn’t, never having a chance or reason to. He knows how to sway in slow circles, but that’s where his knowledge ends. And he didn’t want to embarrass himself more by stomping on Klavier’s toes.
“That’s no problem Liebling, it’s a good thing I'm here to teach you.” Klavier cocked his head and gave him another one of his brilliant smiles.
Apollo just looked down instead of responding. Klavier was way too close for him to be able to look him dead on.
This type of dance didn’t require a lot of footwork, thank god, it was mostly moving slowly together to the music. Klavier gave him pointers when he took an awkward step, but otherwise it went surprisingly smoothly.
“I have to say Herr Forehead, I was surprised to see you dressed in a suit jacket this evening. I’m so used to your other attire.” Klavier said, while guiding Apollo into a turn.
Apollo scoffed, “ Well I didn’t want to come in my court attire.”
Klavier chuckled, “Ja, well, it’s not an unwelcome change, just an unexpected one.”
“I could say I’m surprised to see you not wearing all leather for once.” Apollo shot back, and Klavier flustered himself.
“Ach! I know how to dress for an occasion, Herr Forehead.”
Apollo looked up at Klavier, glancing at his many classy silver earrings, necklaces, and his silky hair. Yeah he really did.
Klavier’s hand trailed onto the small of Apollo’s back, and smoothly spun them around into another turn. Apollo had found his hand had crept up and he was practically hanging from Klavier’s shoulders. Oh boy, this would be a hard one to explain if any of the Wright’s saw him.
“Spin for me, Schatz.” Klavier detached himself from Apollo, and spun him around. Apollo felt himself fluster, and he was pulled back into Klavier’s arms.
And before Apollo could recover from that, he found himself being dipped. Apollo braced himself onto Klavier’s shoulders, as Klavier leaned close over him just as the song was ending.
Klavier’s face was close to his very very close, and Apollo couldn’t tear his eyes away. Klavier just beamed at him, and Apollo was sure he was blushing red.
Klavier pulled them upright again, and chuckled, “Thank you for the dance, Herr Forehead.”
Apollo was stammering, “I- yes, thank you for teaching me, um..”
He had to go, this was beginning to be too much. Where was Trucy and Ema?
Apollo detached himself from Klavier, and rubbed the back of his neck.
“I should- I need to find Trucy.”
Apollo turned and pushed his way into the crowd before he could hear Klavier’s response. There’s no way he could look him in the eye right now.
He made his way back to the table they had all sat at earlier, and found Athena and Simon sitting there together. She waved once he reached the table.
“Apollo! How have you been?” She chirped, and took a sip of her wine.
Apollo sat down and collected himself, “Oh, uh, good. This has been an eventful night.”
Before Athena could question him further, he took a big gulp of his wine. He felt guilty for just abandoning Klavier on the floor like that, but he really needed to catch his breath.
Athena could sense his undesire to chat right now, and resumed talking to Simon.
Apollo sat back in his chair, and peered around the large room. There were alot of people here. He looked and could see Mr. Wright across the room chatting with Prosecutor Edgeworth, as well as a woman with short blue hair, and a taller man in a scruffy looking suit.
He still had to find Trucy and Ema, and he’s pretty sure he has a general idea of where the snack table was supposed to be.
He took another sip of his wine then stood and told Athena he’d see her later, and headed back into the crowd, with more energy than before (that or the wine worked faster than he’d expected) weaving through people once again.
It was slightly hard to get around guests, and the music was thumping along with his heart. He spotted a long white clothed table with many different bite sized foods, and made a beeline for it.
There! He could see Trucy and Ema at the far end of the table, chatting and picking at the food next to them, laughing at something.
“Truce!” He walked up to them, letting out a sigh, “There you are! Don’t run off like that, ‘kay?”
Trucy looked somewhat guilty, and took a sip of her grape juice, while Ema smirked.
“We went back to find you guys, but you and Fop looked...distracted with each other.” Ema let out an evil sounding laugh, and Apollo felt his face heat up again.
“I don’t know what you saw, but it’s not like that-”
Trucy let out a giggle, and Ema’s smirk just got wider.
“Oh I’m sure. I love to romantically embrace all of my rivals.” Ema said, and turned to pick up more chips from the table. Trucy was giggling harder.
Apollo was about to quip back, but then he saw the glimmerous fop himself headed their way from a couple yards away.
Before Klavier could reach them, Apollo quickly turned to Trucy.
“Stay with Ema, okay? I’m gonna go get some air.”
Trucy and Ema looked confused, but before they could ask him why, Apollo turned on his heel and headed for the doors outside. He didn’t want to look back and see Klavier’s reaction, he was already ridden with enough guilt as it is right now.
He pushed through the large doors, and found himself outside on the steps. It had begun snowing like he thought it might, and a very light layer covered the ground. A few guests were littering outside as well, for a smoke or a chat. It was late and the air almost felt still in the night. Apollo could see his breath.
The Gatewater Hotel was located downtown and the city was stretched out around them, but no one else other than them were really out.
Now he was cold and embarrassed. Just great. He really was beginning to regret this whole thing, but didn’t know where to start with his mistakes. He should have stayed home tonight like he wanted.
Apollo went down the steps and stood next to the street, watching the snowfall around him.
Why did Klavier have to make him feel like that; so...flustered. With everything he did. Apollo couldn’t tell if it was teasing or what. Stupid glimmorous fop.
He sighed and shoved his face into his hands. No, being here was an honor. And he should really go back in and enjoy the rest of the party.
He heard the crunch of footsteps behind him in the snow, and Apollo couldn’t make himself turn around.
“Apollo, Liebling, what is wrong?” Klavier spoke from behind him ,his voice smooth and low.
He turned around and saw Klavier standing a new feet away from him, his hands in his pockets and an honest look on his face.
“Uh, nothing! Nothings wrong, I just wanted to get...air.” Apollo replied lamely.
Klavier let out a sigh, and shook his head.
“Herr Forehead, if I made you uncomfortable I apologize. It was not my intention. I wish for you to enjoy Christmas Eve with everyone.”
Apollo looked down and scuffed his shoes in the snow, he couldn’t decide what to say exactly.
“‘You don’t have to apologise Klavier.” He said, looking up at him “I’m just…” just, “I really don’t like parties much.”
Not the truth, but not a lie. Apollo was fiddling with his hands. He wished he didn’t leave his bracelet at home.
Klavier hummed, and let his lips tug into a small smile.
“Well, your dancing was wonderful tonight, and I’ve been enjoying myself in your presence. I’d love to spend the rest of tonight with you, if you wish.” Klavier said, formally.
Apollo could feel the blush returning to his face. Shut up, shut up, shut up.
“Um, I- sure. If you want.” Apollo looked back up at the snow. It was still going lightly but steadily. “I want to enjoy outside a little more though, if that’s okay.”
A pass for Klavier to leave if he wants. If he was genuinely offering his company to Apollo, or if he just felt bad and thought he had to.
Klavier walked closer and stood next to him, and Apollo could feel his warmth even from the gap in between them.
“Then may I join you?”
Apollo looked back at Klavier, and now he was positive he was blushing.
“Sure.”
Klavier let himself fully smile, and rock onto his heels, “A walk around the block then? It is quite pretty out, but we don’t want to get too cold, do we?”
“No we don’t.” Apollo had no idea what he was doing, or what Klavier’s intentions with him were, but he found himself walking side by side with Klavier into the winter night.
The sidewalk was lit by the streetlamps, and the only sound between them were the crunch of their footsteps. The snow was getting caught in Klaviers hair, when Apollo would glance at him, but he hardly seemed to care
They walked on for some time, turning a corner together, before Apollo broke the silence.
“Why are you so nice to me?” He asked, honestly.
It’s been bugging him, how Klavier seems to go out of his way to be kind to him, and do so much extra that he didn’t have to do. Apollo didn’t get it.
Klavier hummed, and brushed his hair behind his ear. He took time thinking before responding.
“I suppose...I think you’re a very noble and honest person, and I feel like others don’t quite see how talented you are so…” Klavier huffed, “Ack, Herr Forehead, does there have to be a reason for kindness? You deserve all the kindness in the world!”
Apollo looked down. Did he?
He looked back up at Klavier, and noticed the way his cheeks looked rosey in the cold, and how his hair had a few loose strands that framed his face, as if that was his intention in the first place.
Could someone like Klavier Gavin really see that in him?
“You think I deserve all the kindness in the world?” He asked.
Klavier let out a sigh, “So many questions tonight, Herr Forehead, am I being cross examined?” He chuckled.
“N-no! It's just, no ones ever said that to me before.”
They turned the next corner, and Klavier stared at him.
“No ones ever said that to you?” He asked.
Apollo let out a laugh, “Well no, should someone have?”
Klavier stopped, and they both stood under a streetlamp. Snow furled around them.
“Yes, Leibe. I believe someone should have.”
Klavier had a complicated look in his eye Apollo couldn’t interpret. And he was afraid to.
Apollo felt like they were walking on a tightrope, and he wasn’t sure which way he wanted to fall.
“The snow’s picking up, we should hurry back inside.” Apollo said.
Neither of them moved.
“Ja, people are probably missing us.” Klavier said.
Apollo could swear they were standing closer than before.
“Klavier…” Apollo said, practically in a whisper.
Klavier took his hands and placed them on the base of Apollo's head and brought him steadily close to him. Apollo reached and clutched onto Klavier's jacket.
They seemed frozen for just a moment, seeing what the other would do, just staring at each other. Apollo thought his heart was gonna thump out of his chest. Klavier’s icy eyes pierced into him, and he wondered if his heart was racing too.
Klavier gently placed his lips on his cheek, near his mouth, and Apollo let out a louder breath and he would have liked. His eyes fluttered closed, and he was beginning to feel quite hot despite the cold weather.
Klavier placed another kiss on his cheek, closer to his jaw. Apollo thought he might start shaking. Or maybe he already was.
Another kiss on his jaw. Was he heading towards his neck? Oh god..
Klavier peppered kisses all over Apollos cheek and jaw and down his neck. He had to contain himself from making noises, though he let out a gasp at a well placed peck.
Apollo found his hands clutching tighter into the fabric of Klavier’s jacket, pulling him closer. Klavier’s other hand found the small of Apollo’s back again, and he almost laughed at how they reflected themselves dancing earlier.
He reached up and found his fingers in Klavier’s silky blond hair, and tugged him gently away from his neck, and looked him face to face.
The light made his hair look akin to a halo, speckled with bits of the powder, his face was blushing red and his skin looked dewey from the snow, and his lips pink and slightly swollen. Apollo thought that this may be the prettiest thing he’s ever seen. All he could hear was him and Klavier’s breathing, and the smell of his cologne made him feel intoxicated.
Apollo tugged him forward, and kissed Klavier properly.
He tasted like white wine and spice, and he was soft but firm against him. He was warmer than Apollo, he pushed up slightly on his toes to be closer in that warmth and let himself get lost.
Klavier reacted quickly, pulling Apollo closer against him, and Apollo’s other hand accidentally slipped inside Klavier’s suit jacket, but he hardly seemed to mind.
Klavier tilted his head and deepened the kiss, and Apollo tried to pull him even closer. Letting his mouth fall open, Klavier happily took that invitation. Apollo traced his hand to Klavier’s jaw, enjoying the smoothness of his skin, and the few stray hairs that still tangled Apollo's fingers.
This felt amazing, like no other kiss he’d ever experienced. Klavier was invading all of his senses, and he hardly remembered where they were standing. He was clutching onto him for dear life, afraid his knees might give out. Klavier held Apollo gently, but firm, his hand tracing over his back.
They were leaning against each other so heavily, it almost seemed like a battle for who would stay upright. Apollo let his hand slide to Klavier’s abdomen, and dared to let himself feel the muscles there.
Klavier let out a satisfying sound against his lips, and Apollo pressed up harder against him.
Klavier moved his hand and stroked Apollo’s cheek, before pulling away from the kiss.
“You..” Klavier breathed out, “Deserve more than just all the kindness in the world, Apollo.”
Klavier began peppering kisses down Apollo's neck again, and Apollo tilted his jaw, welcoming. He nibbled just in the right place, and he let out a shaky breath.
“S-so do you.”
He felt Klavier let out a breathy laugh against his neck, before nipping at him there again.
Both of Apollo's arms came to hang around Klavier's neck, Apollo was starting to feel dizzy from this rush of affection and lust. The fall of snowflakes on his cheeks felt nice against how hot his skin felt. Apollo was sure he was about to burst into flames.
Klavier licked a spot he just bit, and then gently he lifted away from Apollo's neck.
This is probably the most disheveled Apollo has ever seen Klavier. His hair was clinging to dear life to stay in its twist, and he was almost breathing as hard as Apollo was. And if that's what he looked like, god knows his state.
“Liebling, you’re shaking.” Klavier visibly fought to keep a smirk from his face.
“Ah, am I?” Apollo squeaked out.
Klavier brushed Apollo’s cheek with his thumb, “Yes, mein Schatz.”
“O-oh.” Apollo didn’t know where to look, all he could stare at were Klavier’s eyes and his lips.
“It’s cold, Ja? Let’s go back inside, for a bit at least.” Hewinked.
“Yes, okay.”
Apollo reluctantly removed his arms from Klavier’s neck, and Klavier quickly found his hand in Apollo’s. Nervously, Apollo squeezed their joined hands, and Klavier looked down at him and smiled, squeezing back.
The affection itself in Klavier’s eyes was enough to make him feel hot again. Apollo’s never seen such emotion directed at him before, all for him. It was like trying to look at the sun, and he averted his gaze down at their shoes as they began walking, hiding his smile.
They rounded the block pressed close together, and soon found their way to the main front doors again, and they stood there for a moment. Apollo turned to Klavier, and reached up to fix his hair.
“Here, you uh, your hair..” Apollo said, trying to make Klavier more presentable and Not Like They Just Passionately Made Out.
Klavier laughed, and tossed his hair to the side and twisted it into its drill tactfully. Apollo was still blushing wildly. Klavier reached and fixed Apollo’s hair as well. They were both slightly damp from the snow, but hardly seemed to care. Suits can be dry cleaned. (And Apollo was sure he could tease Klavier into paying for his.)
“Hey Klavier?” Apollo said. He rubbed his wrist where his bracelet would usually be.
“Ja?” He responded, looking down at Apollo, and he almost thought he looked nervous as Apollo felt.
“Are you.. I mean, do you like me? Are we...” So now it’s out there.
Klavier broke out into probably the biggest grin Apollo’s ever seen on him. He really is the sun. And Klavier took both of his hands.
“Yes, Apollo. I’ve always liked you. Mein Schatz, you’re everything to me.”
Apollo felt his heart in his throat, and he had to look down again.
“I like you too.” He said honestly. He couldn’t put it into such a poetic way as Klavier could, but it was true. And he can hardly believe he finally admitted it.
He felt Klavier pull him close, and press his lips into Apollo’s head.
“Good, then dating should be easy, Ja?”
Apollo stuttered, and Klavier was giggling.
“Mein Got, only if you’d have me!” Klavier laughed, and wrapped Apollo into a tight hug.
Apollo muffled against his chest. Klavier pulled back just enough for Apollo to turn his head up towards him. Apollo had a flustered look on his face, and had to fight the smile growing on his lips.
Klavier simply swooped down and pecked him on the lips again, and stepped back from Apollo.
“Let's head inside, Ja? We’re definitely missed now”
“Definitely.” Apollo said, this time the smile was cracking further onto his face.
And with that, they simply clasped hands, made their way up the snow covered steps, and walked back into the banquet.
