Summary
Hux narrowly evades execution by the First Order and tosses himself to the only ally he has left—the Resistance. He crash lands near the Resistance base of Ajan Kloss, and when he's discovered with a viscous infection, their medical team is forced to amputate one of his legs. Weakened and broken, Hux loses the will to live. However, a second chance at life is made possible by the care from a charming Resistance medic.
