"You have made it painfully apparent that you don't feel the same about me and probably never will. You don't need to twist the knife by making me think I have a chance!" He wouldn't look at me but his face held no emotion. He cast his eyes lazily to the side, his hands rested in his pockets. I could feel tear welling up inside me knowing the conversation held little importance to him.
"The worst part of all this is that despite all that happened between us, I still love you....but I know it will always be one-sided." By now I was sure some tears had spilled over. I walked past Ban to exit the room. I had barley opened the door before it was abruptly shut from behind me. The act caught me off guard, I didn't dare turn around. Bans arm never moved from beside my head.
"You talk to much. I barley got your name out before you bit my head off." He moved his body closer me mine, his mouth now inches from my ear.
"I may not be a smartass or know exactly what this thing is between us but I do know that you are my trouvaille. As cruel as it may sounds, I can't let you go."
