I read a really fun Merthur soulmates AU where soulmates can't lie to each other (True Love by platonic_boner) and I loved the concept so much that I couldn't stop myself from wondering how it would work with my bnha ships.
This could have easily been 20k+ of mutual pining enemies to lovers, but since I already have 20k+ of mutual pining bakudeku in the works, I figured I'd get this out of my system as a short crack fic.
I had a lot of fun writing this, so I hope you enjoy it!

The date is at 2:30 because Dabi had an earlier appointment for 'arson' in his calendar.
If you feel at all inclined to write 20k+ of mutual pining enemies to lovers based on this premise... please do. I need it.
Thanks to the lovely Roxanne for indulging in my plot bunnies and coming up with Dabi's identity reveal! (Rox had the idea that Dabi is trying to say "I'm Dabi, and I'm here to eliminate hero scum like you." Obviously, this doesn't go to plan — his name isn't Dabi and as soon as he realises they're soulmates, elimination is no longer on his mind.)
