Prompts about love, truth, justice and fandom shenanigans

Summary:

I decided to make many prompts about my favorite Homestuck characters in many situations that take place in many fandoms. John Egbert as a D personnel forced to test paranormal objects for the SCP Foundation, Sollux and Aradia having a double date with deceased members of Torchwood, Dave being a Timelord in love, Karkat and Kanaya traveling through a land of fantasy, etc. I hope you like it.

Chapter 1: John x Vriska: 8luh 8luh HUGE 8REACH

Chapter Text

John x Vriska

Your name is John Egbert, and today is another day of testing in this godforsaken facility. How did you ended up here? Right, Senator Noir.

"Who are you, kid?"

"I am John Egbert, and you killed my Dad!"

The last thing you remember about that day was Noir's head pierced by a bullet. At least he can no longer harm another innocent.

"Move out of your cell or I will shot you!"

You obey the security guard and walk through the corridor to your assigned testing room. They call themsleves The Foundation, and they are the only thing standing for humanity against the paranormal realm. Yeah, right. You know thay are just some military jerks afraid of wjhat they don't understand.

"Enter to the room and talk to the girl"

A girl? You notice the code SCP-888 in the door and the designation Euclid. You remember one of the other inmates saying that Euclid is the classification of an object that acts beyond what is known about nature. That guy was "terminated" for talking too much. As the guard instructed, you enter the room and see a black haired girl stting on a bed. She has an eye patch and lack her left arm. She is grinning at you right now.

"So, you are the new testing subject of Dr. Alto Clef? I am surprised by this recent change."

She stopped talking. Wait, they said you are supossed to talk to her.

"I am John Egbert, from Maple Valley, Washington."

"You don't look like a D personnel to me, John Egbert"

She is walking around you and scanning every detail about your persona.

"You look like a nerd. A softy. Unlike those brutes they sent here a week ago to test my abilities."

"What kind of abilities?"

"The kind that makes the janitors here to have a lot to clean up"

Is she implying she killed those inmates? This girl is scaring you every second you are in this room. This is worst than that time they sent you to test those tomatoes that hit you when you tell a bad joke (your nose is still bleeding), or when you got diahrrea after reading that damn book about common diseases.

"Do you hear that. That is the sound of SCP-682 surviving another attempt of termination. That guy must learn chill out. You know what I mean about Keters like?"

"I don't know, I have only dealt with Safes and a few Euclids, like SCP-999."

"That blob is cute, but it is like a puppy trying to climb your leg."

"Have you played with it? You have to admit it is cute."

"I admit it is cute, but I don't like the way it is affective towards others."

"You don't like physical contact."

Her face flushes at that comment.

"What makes you think that? I simply... feel uncomfortable."

"Okay... maybe we should talk about something else." You don't know what you can say to make this murderous girl let you live. "Do you like any movie?" Really? Is that the only smart thing you can say, dumbass?!

"Well, I like Conair."

Did she just said Conair? That is your favorite movie! That was the movie you used to watch with... your dad.

"I like Conair too. What is your favorite part?"

"When Nicolas Cage reunites with his wife and daughter."

"That is the best part of the movie!"

"Don't forget "Put that bunny back in the box!"."

""Why didn't you put the bunny back the box?". Hehe."

You see her smile. It isn't an evil smirk like the one when you entered, but a true smile.

"You seem nice and interesting. I think I will let you live for today. Unless there's a breach and SCP-173 starts killing people."

"Hey, I told you my name. What is yours?"

"Marquise Spinneret Mindfang."

You learned later her real name is Vriska Serket.

For the next few days you are assigned to visit Vriska. You two watched movies autorized by Dr. Clef, and talked about other topics: paranomal phenomena, luck, the afterlife, Nicolas Cage, etc. She tells you she was born in the slums of Mumbai, and that she was forced by her mother to do criminal activities for survival. The curious thing is that at the age of 13 she learned to mindcontrol people with weak minds (luckily you aren't weak enough to be controlled), and that at the age of 16 she discovered that she can steal luc. The Foundation thinks her abscent father is the source of those powers. At the end of the day, ytou two just cuddle in her bed.

Dr. Alto Clef's perspective:

You are observing through the cameras how a powerful reality bender and a nerd are cuddling. You see this as intresting, considering your relationship with an SCP that is the only female able to tolerate your presence.

"Clef, what are you planning?" Dr. Kondraki asks.

"I am just experimenting with her, Konny. He is the right candidate to calm her down."

"Why him and not any other D personnel?"

"Because he has the perfect profile for her: he is a nerd, and he likes CONAIR. Also, his psychological record makes him very passive. Passive enough to tolerate her bitchiness"

"Sadly we know they will die. He will be terminated once the research is over, and she will be terminated once she is classified as a Keter by your own orders. I am asking again in a more understandable manner: Why are you doing this?"

"Because we get a lot of information about her, they both have some romance, and they both die without the need of one of the m living without the other. It is the only way, Konny."

"Then I hope there's an afterlife where they will go."

"Considering God exists and visits us frequently, I think it is possible."

You turn again to the camera and see SCP-999 sleeping over the two lovers. "Beautiful."

Chapter 2: Sollux x Aradia: Afterlife Double Date

Summary:

Sollux and Aradia have a dinner with another couple they met in the dream bubbles. This is a Torchwood themed prompt. This is narrated from Aradia's perspective.

Chapter Text

"So, how did you two met each other" you ask to the female human at the other side of the dinning table.
"We used to work for an organization named Torchwood. I was the technology specialist, and Owen was the medic."
"I barely did medical work. I was more interested in disecting alien corpses and tinkering with certain gizmos."

You can see that both your matesprit and Toshiko's boyfriend are bored of the conversation topics. They both are apathic and rude, but at the same time caring and charming.
"AA, you said there was going to be some dessert after the dinner."
"Oh, right."
You fly to the oven and take out a cake. It is so good that the John human's dreams have cakes in almost every important moment of his life.

"I missed to the taste of food" Says Own taking a spoonful of cake. "After I died for the first time I was doomed to an empty existence as an undead. I couldn't feel anything."
"I can't understand what is to not feel, but I can understand what it feels to be doomed." Said Sollux "After losing against a hipster I was no longer condemned to hear the voices of the doomed. It was a great relief."

You and Toshiko look at each other as a sign of agreement that those two jerks could be good friends. Who else in the afterlife can understand the feeling of being as doomed as this too? Probably Mituna, but he has brain damage.
"You think you had a horrible leader? KK blew up his computer and caused my first death."
"That's nothing. Jack not only revived me as an undead and caused the Grim Reaper to attack an hospital, he also is a selfrighteous asshole that will drug you if you don't comply to his orders. He had broken the employees behavior code many times with Ianto."
"You didn't see half of it." Said Toshiko giggling.

After the dinner, Toshiko and Owen said good by and departed to their dream bubble. You and Sollux decided to stay and clean the mess before any version of John arrives here. During the dish washing you break the silence.
"I think it is interesting the relationship between these two humans."
"They seemed like any of the ghosts we have seen here for the last few sweeps."
"I mean... they were in a similar situation like us."
"I wasn't revived by KK as an undead."
"No, I mean they were unable to confess their feeling to each other for a long time, and when they were ready it was late. They were in many failed relationships, and then they died."
"Ok, I guess things with Feferi didn't work out, and Lord English has been busy lately."
"Aside from that, we were rejecting our true feelings for each other at the beginning of our adventure, and we needed to die and revive to accept the truth."
"Yeah, I don't think I was enjoying life too much before being blinded. I was worried for everyone's safety that I stopped caring of what I wanted. And I was to "blind" to accept that I lost you to that horse weirdo."
"He has enough Aradias right now, so that solves the problem."
"Don't remind me of that! It is still creepy!"
You giggle a bit and continue washing the dishes.

After a few hours, you two rest in the sofa and watch Troll Indiana Jones in the tv. "I still don't get how Troll Indiana Jones was made in Alternia with all the obvious anti Empire propaganda."
"Shut up and enjoy the movie."

Chapter 3: Dave x Jade: I will see you after the war

Summary:

A young Timelord must wait for a long time before reuniting with his lover.

Chapter Text

Your name is... your name is to strange for humans to understand, and that's why you prefer to use the name she gave you: Dave. You were born in Gallifrey, and like many other children you had to see the Time Vortex. The reactions to seeing the Time Vortex are variable: some run away, some get inspired, and some get crazy.

"Wow, that's some weird shit." Your reaction was unexpected. You didn't think too much about the life outside the rule of the Timelords, but your initial ideas changed when you started hearing about "The Doctor".

"Guys, have you hear news?" said a fellow engineer of your team. "Some guy in a stolen TARDIS saved a planet from being conquered by the Zygons."

Then the news became more frequent.

"The Doctor defeated the Master!"

"The Doctor is fighting against the Daleks!"

"The Doctor saved a vessel full of refugees!"

"You wouldn't believe who saved an entire galaxy."

"THE DOCTOR!"

After hearing all this nonsense you decided to travel for a while, just for leaving your comfort zone and gaining some experiences. You start with a short visit to a space station in some system colonized by the Human Empire. Maybe humans aren't close to Timelord's technological advancements, but they have good music. Your first place to visit in these space station was a club with what you call some "sick beats". You remember the techno music, the neon lights, the taste of alcohol, and some strange guy with a long scarf.

"First day out of home?" You weren't expecting that the man next to you in the bar would start a conversation.

"Yes?"

"You still have an engineer suit, and you are drinking a soft drink." He is pointing to your ice tea. "You will get eaten alive here if you don't find the right company."

"I can handle myself just fine, old man."

He then points to a lonely girl in a corner. "She is also a newbie too. She is waiting for a firend that never came, and by the looks of it she doesn't know how to dress for a club."

"Are you a psychic or a creeper? Probably the second considering your outfit."

"Nah, she was complaining through her phone a lot with some friend, and seriously... who wears a long skirt to a place like this?"

"Says the man with a multicolored scarf that drinks a jar of the mysterious contents."

"Cheers!"

You don't regret going to talk with that girl. Her name is Jade Harley, and she is the cutest nuclear physicist in the universe. "You should visit Apalapucia. It has a beautiful garden and rollercoaster!"

You like to hear her speak about many toristical attractions, but she also likes to hear everything you have to say about Gallifrey. Seriously, what is so amazing about a planet with red weed, a city in a crystal dome, and the fact that it is close to the Time Vortex. Gallifrey is something you have seen for decades, and it isn't going anywhere. The next few years you travel with Jade through the galaxy. Sometimes for research projects, like studying the Medusa Cascade (she said thing could be used for some cosmic machinery of myserious workings); other times for casual purposes, like a touristical visit to Mars, or her brother's wedding.

"Why would your brother marry that spidery bitch."

"Are you saying it because she is an arachnid monster, or because she threatened you with a sword?"

For the next years your life together was something beautiful, and nothing would change that... except war. "Strider, look out!" Shouted another soldier. You shoot directly in the eye of the evil machine wating to kill you all. Sadly, there were more coming.

"We need help! The Daleks have taken this district!" Said your superior throught the comm.

It has been ten years since you departed from home, and you lost all possible ways to communicate with Jade. Youd don't know if she is still alive, or if she is still waiting for you. You knew you where going to be separated by desiny beacuse you are a Timelord and she is a human, but you can no longer share that precious time with her. Why did you returned to Gallifrey in the first place.

"EXTERMINATE!"

Right. To save people from these monsters. Sadly, everyone in the universe no longer differentiates between TimeLords and Daleks. You are sure only Jade knows you aren't a monster. You contemplate the ring from your wedding and hope she is okay.

The Dalek fleet is getting closer. This is the end. "What the..."

Gallifrey Stands

Then the entire planet is covered in light.

It has been a long time, but you know the Doctor is coming. He and his companion, the Imposible Girl, are searching for you all. And when the time comes, you will timetravel to when you last saw Jade and be together again.

Chapter 4: Karkat <> Kanaya: Over The Fucking Wall

Summary:

After a failed attempt to sent (or to not sent) a love letter to Terezi, Karkat and Kanaya end up in the Unknown.

Chapter Text

Your name is Karkat Vantas, and you and your friend Kanaya Maryam are having the weirdest journey. By weirdest you mean traveling in a ferry full of anthropomorphic frogs.

"Karkat, the band is playing a lovely melody."

"HOW THE FUCK DID WE ENDED UP HERE?!"

A few days ago

"Kanaya, I don't want to show Terezi that letter. It is embarrassing."

"Karkat, she obviously feels the same way for you. She wouldn't laugh at you, I promise."

"Says the girl who can't confess her feelings to a certain blonde miss perfection."

"..."

A few hours later.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"I will handle this" She then uses a chainsaw to fight an evil tree monster.

"You can't escape the forest! You can't escape me!"

Now.

Kanaya's perspective:

For the last few days you and your shouty friend have been running away from the Beast, making community servce for reanimated corpses, singing with a highway man (who took all of Karkat's money), and having a job at the tea company of a lovely couple. Karkat is finally enjoying this experience by joining to the fun of the music of the frogs. You only wish to be with Rose right now and talk about this paranormal lore/slice of life/old times fantasy world (which your romantic rival John Egbert would enjoy too).

"Sigh."

Suddenly, you notice the presence of a girl standing next to you at the border of the ferry's stern. She is tall, has a pale skin (not as pale as yours), red hair, is wearing a blue dress, and seems... lonely. You apprach her, but it is difficult for you to start a conversation.

"Having a rough day?" Is that seriously how you start a conversation?

"No, I am simply nostalgic."

You can hear Karkat shouting some nonsense in the distance.

"Here he goes again."

"A friend of yours"

"Yes, he has that weird habit of shouting at everyone."

"Are you two new to the unkwown?"

"Yes. We have been here for 5 days trying to get a way back home."

"You aren't the only ones. Many kids enter the unkwon by accident, and most of them become oil trees... well that used to happen, but the Beast is apparently dead now."

"Really?"

Karkat's perspective:

Why is it that you have such a complicate relationship with frogs?

"Get your slimmy hands away from me!"

Kanaya's perspective:

"And then Wirt started a passive agressive game where he pretended to be a pushover."

"Once upon a time, Karkat went in a dress to school just to defeat Dave Strider at a bet. He looked so cute with that frilly dress!"

You two start giggling.

Karkat's perspective:

You are hidding yourself in a pile of instruments while the frogs police men are searching for you. You are remembering a few things from before entering the Unknown.

"Karkat, there she is" Kanaya is pointing to Terezi sitting with a group of friends in the graveyard.

"I am seeing her, Kanaya... with Strider."

You aren't gonna repeat the embarrasing moment that came later, but you are remembering how you ended up here.

"Kids, go down right now" said the police man.

You and Kanaya obeyed.

"Dang, why everytime I say that they fall to the other side of the wall?"

Kanaya's perspective:

"And then I freed Karkat from those branches." You tell to Beatrice. "It was really difficult to chainsaw."

"How can you carry a chainsaw?"

"It is a family secret. Anyway, I almsot lost all hope too beacuse of some romantic problems, but he was there to make me fight for life."

"That's so sweet. I guess that's how Wirt and Greg relationship is. They helped each other, even when one of them was losing all hope... I miss them sometimes.

"Can't you visit them or something? You said the Beast is dead."

"Apparently. We don't know too much about the nature of it, and I don't even know which path leads out of the forest. If you and your friend return home safely, can you deliver a message to my friends?"

"Sure. What do you want me to tell them."

"Well, I wrote something, so the words would be exact"

After Beatrice gives you the message, you hear Karkat shouting "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..."... then a splash.

"I have to go, see you later, Beatrice."

"See you later, Kanaya. Also, you should speak with that Rose."

Wirt and Greg's house.

Wirt's perspective:

"Greg, have you seen my jacket?"

"Maybe Jason Fundleberker saw it."

You still consider it is funny that your brother named his frog after that dumbass. Suddenly, your train of thoughts is interrupted by a ring on the door. You go downstairs to open it.

"Greetings" says a girl with a classy appearance. You remember her, she is the lesb... fashionista from your class.

"Hello, Kan... Kanaya was it?"

"Yes. I have a message for you."

She delivers you a folded piece of paper.

My dearest friends,

I hope you are happy and safe in your home. Thanks to you the Unknown is a better place. The Woodsman is again with his daughter, the animal school is having a renovation, and the tea company of Quincy and Marguerite is a success. Greg, you are a wonderful kid and you make everyone around you happy. Never change. Wirt, I... I hope you find happiness with Sarah. Try to visit the unknown. I miss you.

Chapter 5: Rose x Kanaya: Unexpected Carnival

Summary:

Rose and Kanaya are touristing in Fuyuki city, and they end up in the Ahnenerbe during a strange carnival that happens every ten years.

Chapter Text

"I can't believe we bought so much in one afternoon." Said your girlfriend, Rose.

"Japanese fashion is colorful and has interesting patterns. I could apply some of the knowledge I have gained to future designs."

"I think we should rest from our shop hunting and go to eat something. There's a restaurant there."

"Ahnenerbe?"

The interior of the restaurant is a bit depressing with the lack of color, but the traditional decorations give it a touch of happiness. There's a bar, and a small book store, but what catches your attention is that the employees are...

"Welcome, it is starting!"

... Cats.

You and Rose sit on a table and wait to be attended.

"Welcome to the Ahnenerbe, what would you like to order?" Asked a blonde woman in a Maid dress. You aren't trying to squeal at the sight of such a beautiful dress.

"I would like to order a bowl of ramen." Answered Rose. "Also, is there any celebration happening today? I noticed the decorations and the fact that this restaurant is full of... interesting people."

I suddenly realise what Rose means. There are people in what can be assumed to be cosplays of anime characters, or medieval recreation actors.

"You must be new here. This is the year of the Famous Carnival Phantasm in Fuyuki City." That maid looks up and a divine shining covers her. "It happens every ten years, and it is the magnificent moment when people of different stories meet each other. It is simply beautiful."

Everyone there starts clapping.

"... I will order ramen too"

While waiting for the food, you can't think of anything other than Rose wearing that tight dress she bought this morning, specially withher hair styled like an anime character.

"Kanaya."

You stop your fanatasy and pay attention to what Rose is saying.

"I think we should play something until our food comes."

"You usual point and psychoanalyze game?"

"Yes!"

You point to white haired man with a red coat sitting with a teenage girl.

"He is dinning with that girl, but he is only there for protecting her. Also, by his serious expresion and relaxed postion I think he is in a state that Dave would call "YOLO". It is as if his eyes have seen too much pain to care anymore."

"Or he simply is what Karkat would call a jerkass."

"Your turn" Rose points to a guy with religious clothes.

"Well, he looks like a Priest, but he also has a scary appeal. He probably dislikes any form of happiness, but he has his pleasures, like that glass of whine he is consuming."

"He is probably a stereotypic Claude Frollo."

"Or Kankri."

You and Rose laugh at that thought.

"Excuse me, beautiful lady." A mysterious and charming blond man appears next to Rose. "I noticed you from the other table, and I must say you are probably a divine treasure waiting to be reclaimed by the King of Heroes."

"Wow, that was the most egocentrical attempt at flirting. You probbaly have a god complex."

"I am surprised such miracle of a woman could know words so elevated that only great men can understand. You have catched my attention."

Is this man really trying to flirt with your girlfriend in your presence!

"Excuse me sir, but we are..."

"Am I talking too you peasant?" Now he is interrupting you. "I am talking with this precious jewel, unless you want to join us in  my royal bed."

"Do you really think we would fall so low for a despotic misogynist?" Said Rose.

"Everyone falls for me. I am own everything."

He is putting his hand in Rose's shoulder!

A few minutes later

Gilgamesh's perspective:

You cant't believe what is happening.

"Don't dare touch my girlfriend again!" That girl is chasing you with a raving chainsaw, and by the way she is acting she is probably a true ancestor. Why do true ancestors have to be so damn strong!

Arcueid's perspective:

"Wow, there's another true ancestor in the city."

Chapter 6: Karkat x Terezi: Apocalypse Date

Summary:

The Umbrella Academy presents: When Karkat took Terezi to a date on a carnival, and it turned to a disaster, which is a side story in the Apocalypse Suite.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Your name is Karkat Vantas, and this was definitely a bad idea.

“Why nobody told me carnival games where dangerous!”

“Karkat, stop shouting. I don’t know what is happening. I am blind, remember?”

The carnival that was supposed to be the site for your well planned date became the hunting grounds for a group of evil robots that remind you of the Daleks from Doctor Who. Does these guys were made by a lunatic evil scientist with nothing better to do? Who cares about that? Your date was screwed from the beginning since you planned with pressure from Kanaya.

“Well, this could have been worst.” Terezi said.

“Terezi, we are in a burning carnival and a group of robots are chasing us. How can this be worst?!”

“We could have been one of the couples that died in the ferris wheel.”

“Right… Wait, are we a couple?”

“Not now, Romeo. We must hide our asses before those retarded bots find us.”

“Kids!” a male voice screamed. “Over here!”

You and Terezi run to take cover with some guys in weird super hero clothes. Is that supposed to be a guy with a gorilla body? You sure as hell don’t know what is happening enymore.

After escaping the burning carnival, you decide to take Terezi home to avoid more problems.

“You know, Vriska told me John was going to take her to the carnival today. It would be sad and ironic if it turned out both died in the tunnel of love.”

“Yeah, she is a bitch and he is annoying. They would make a great favor to the world by doing that.”

“C’mon Karkles, you would at least miss John.”

“Whatever. I want to apologize for how everything turned out today.”

“How could you predict that a bunch of psychotic robots would cause mayhem today?”

“Well, I think I just have bad luck since I runned Sollux’s cursed program in my computer.”

“I think we just need to chill out before you escort me home, brave knight.”

“There’s a coffee shop two blocks from here. We can buy something and talk a bit more before your sister kicks me out of the front door.”

“Latula is probably busy today with Mituna.”

“Gross.”

On the way to the coffee shop you see a boy and a chimpancee walking in the opposite direction. He is carrying a gun, and his suit is stained with blood.

“Don’t go in there. I leaved a mess.” The boy said before turning to the ape. “Let’s return to the Academy, Professor Pogo.”

You turn your sight to the coffe shop and see the windows stained with blood.

“What the fuck is wrong with this world?!”

“Do I smell red?” Terezi asked.

Sometimes you wonder why do you like her. Then you remember when you two start the common habit of making out in Kankri’s room with My Chemical Romance playing in the background. You two are just two kids of 13 years, and don’t know the world is coming to an end.

Notes:

Just to clarify, if someone has read Umbrella Academy you will know that the White Viollin started the apocalypse the next day, and that the My Chemical Romance mention was a reference to the author of Umbrella Academy. Also, don't worry, Vriska convinced John to ride the scary tunnel in which everyone was saved by the Kraken (that was a lucky break because everyone in the love tunnel died).

Chapter 7: Karkat: All the Evils of the World

Summary:

Karkat won the Last Holy Grail war, but the reward isn't what he was expecting. Also, Kanaya is a saber class heroic spirit.

Chapter Text

"Where the fuck am I?"

"Karkat Vantas."

"Huh?"

You turn your attention to a mysterious dark figure who seems to be piercing it's sight on you.

"You have won the Holy Grail War. The last one to ever been fought."

Now you remember what happened a few moments ago. You where fighting against Gamzee in an epic battle that would determine the future of humanity. If that clown had won the Dark Carnival would be real, and everyone you know would be death or being tortured by monstruous clowns.

"What happened to my friends? Terezi? John? Saber?"

"Karkat, I am right here."

"Terezi? Wait... You took Terezi's form?"

"It is easier to communicate with you this way."

"No! I am angry, and I don't want to talk all my hate to someone I... someone I care for."

"What about now?" The dark figure took your form.

"Much better. Now, listen to me asshole. I fought against dangerous magicians to get here, so all I want now is to get my fucking wish granted. Do you understand."

"Your wish will be granted, but you must now that it will have a cost."

"What?! I knew getting a miracle done was bullshit! You are like a genie in a lamp, catching idiots with promises of changing reality, and then screw them with a damn loophole."

"The Grail doesn't work that way. You will get your wish granted according to the truth inside you."

"The truth inside me? Are you messing with me right now? That's basically some bullshit coming from a surrealistic anime made by some pessimistic jerk obsessed with angelic iconography."

"The Grail knows what you want. You want the world to go according to your will, that everyone around stops being stupid jerks that don't get things done. You will get your wish granted, but before that you will see what happens after the miracle occurs.

"That was... THE WORST HELL IMAGINABLE!"

"You wanted a world where..."

"I know what I wanted, you piece of shit! The world doesn't deserve that! Not even Gamzee, Eridan, Vriska, or John! Especially John!"

"It will happen once you wish for it."

"I will not let you turn Earth into Karkatland!"

You slice the Grail's corrupted avatar with your sickle and kick him in the stomach until he falls.

"You could have been a great Angra Man..." Then you stomp his face with your foot.

You are back in the real world, and Sab... you mean Kanaya is carrying the head of the The King of Time.

"Why didn't you accept the Grail?" She asked.

"All the Evils of the world aren't worth it." Then you light a cigarrete.

Chapter 8: Meenah x Aranea: When the Moon Falls

Summary:

Meenah is a Zora and Aranea is a pirate, but they love each other. Saddly, when the moon falls everything turns to chaos. This happens before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Chapter Text

You don’t know how this happened. You are a Zora and she is a pirate, you are supposed to be enemies… but there’s something happening between you and her.

“What are you thinking, Meenah?”

“Well, the moon looks crabby, like it is going to fall in any moment.”

“It is surprising how a natural celestial body can have rocky formations resembling a humanoid face.”

“You know I didn’t understand anyfin you say, right?”

“Yeah, but I don’t care.”

You love Aranea, and the heart wants what the heart wants. Your usual dates involve stealing cargo from ships and making pranks on those that visit the Great Bay.

“I would like to see the face of that Goron when he discovers someone drew something obscene in his back.”

“You are the best, Serket.”

You have been planning a big date, and you are certain it is going to be the best romantic thing you have ever done. You will take your pirate girlfriend to the Festival of Time in Clocktown, where your favorite band will play: The Indigo-Go’s. You swim to your usual meeting point, but she is late.

“Somefin must have happened.”

You decide to swim closer to the pirate fortress and see if she is one of her usual places. Swimming in these waters is dangerous, but you have your ways to avoid being “krilled”. You see Aranea in a plataform.

“Serket!”

Then you see something you regret seeing. Aranea and a few pirates where surrounding a beaten up Zora that you barely recognize.

“Please… those aren’t… your eggs.” The poor Zora was begging, and Aranea kicked him out of the plataform. She then turns back and sees you.

“Meenah?”

You swim away trying to avoid the pirates that are probably chasing you, but that’s the least of your problems. You are crying. You, Meenah Peixes, are crying.

Back at home, you are feeling like trash, but you just want to forget everything and just go to that concert alone.

“Did you hear the news?” Feferi asked. “Lulu from The Indigo-Go’s is probably not going to sing at the concert!”

“What? Why?”

“Nobody knows. I think she is depressed.”

Chapter 9: Roxy x Calliope: Weeping Cherub

Summary:

Roxy is a researcher working at Maple Valley's facility of the SCP Foundation, and she is assigned to study a new SCP.

Notes:

I am sorry for whoever requested a Davekat prompt in the past comments, but I still don't have an idea to use. In the mean time I will post this lovely story.

Chapter Text

“Welcome to the Foundation, Dr. Lalonde.” That’s the first phrase you remember every morning you wake up to work.

After getting your PhD you thought you could work at a scientific research organization, or a big global company, but employment was something different than getting good grades. Fortunately, your thesis about computational approach to anomalistic behaviors of reality got the attention of the Foundation, and now you work in one of the containment facilities. You study the effects of paranormal objects and beings that arrive here, and try to make procedures for containment, and possible termination.

“Good morning, Roxy.” John said.

“Good morning, John. How was testing today?”

“I lost a teeth after testing those awful tomatoes. At least I didn’t get my arm broken like the guy before me.”

“How is SCP-888 doing?”

“Vriska is fine. We are planning on seeing a few movies tonight.”

You wave good bye to John, and return to your job. You feel bad that he will be terminated in a few weeks, and the fact that SCP-888 will be so enraged that she will try to destroy the facility if not for Dr. Clef shooting a shotgun through her head. Let’s not think about it.

“Let’s see. Unclassified SCP… unknown abilities… possibly safe… two personalities?”

You enter the assigned room and see a creature that is nothing like you have seen before in all your time here.

“Greetings, I am Dr. Lalonde…”

“Hello.” She shyly said… you suppose she is a girl.

She is a green colored being with skeletal features, no known hair, sharp teeth, big eyes, and cheeks colored with a lighter shade of green.

“So, we don’t have a code for you yet. How do you want to be called?”

“Well… my daddy named me Calliope.”

You then read the notes about her background:

Calliope/? was found in an old house where their “father” kept them. He is an alcoholic and drug addict detained by the local police of Seattle after murdering a hooker in the street, and [REDACTED] her dead body. After investigating the case, it was found that he used to work for Dr. [REDACTED], also known as Doc Scratch by the local mobsters. He is a rogue agent working for the Chaos Insurgency, and has contacts with the Church of the Broken God. It is unknown if this SCP was one of his experiments, or one anomaly he discovered.

“So, what do you like to do, Callie?”

“… I like to draw and paint.”

“We can provide you with approved materials.”

“Thank you… but is my brother going to have colors too?”

“Your brother?”

“He likes to draw too, but his drawing are… scary. If he isn’t happy he will get mad and hurt me.”

“Don’t worry, we will give you what you two need, and I will deal with your brother later.”

Hours later she falls asleep, and the reason of why it is a SCP and not just a regular mutant happens. Her cheeks start turning red, meaning her entire blood is passing through an unknown biochemical process. Blood samples compared after the first day have proven that the hormones have changed from feminine to masculine, and there’s an increase in the something similar to the human section of the brain where aggressiveness is activated. You then hear a roar.

“Where the fuck am I?! This is not my house! Where’s that dumb clown?!”

“I am Dr. Lalonde, and you are in the Maple Valley’s Facility of the SCP Found…”

He tries to attack you, but his leg is chained to the wall.

For the next days you have to take care of Callie, and keep Caliborn (a name you don’t like) from hurting himself and her. You observe with joy the art she is making.

“This is beautiful, Callie!”

Her drawings are realistic depictions of the facility, like all the SCPS she has seen, the personnel, and some things she remember from her former home. You think it is cute she drew John and Vriska cuddling together. Her scary drawing of Dr. Clef is what makes you a bit disturbed.

“He is like Daddy’s boss. Both are mean people that make good people disappear.”

On the other hand, Caliborn…

“This is my masterpiece. Contemplate the work of a prodigy, blonde whore.”

His drawings were like the ones made by a kindergarten kid, and most of this incomprehensible scribbles where decorated with phrases like “this is you after I kill you”, or “big fat whore”. You don’t know if he is infatuated with your fellow researcher, Jane Crocker, or with SCP-682.

Chapter 10: Dave x Karkat: Sea of Dreams (part 1)

Summary:

Dave is an engineer that travels to Columbia to work for Jeremiah Fink. He never thought he would find love there, and that he would travel throught time and space to be with the one he loves. This is the part 1 of this Bioshock Infinite themed story.

Chapter Text

You remember how strange the news about Columbia were in the last decade. A city floating in the sky sounded at first like the idea of some lunatic… well this Comstock guy doesn’t look sane to you, but you are here to make some money.

“And now we receive David Strider to our flock.”

Being baptized in this crazy faith is the minor of your problems. You have sacrificed too much to be here: you sold your family’s farm, your beloved sword collection, and the possibility of finishing your education. You got hired by Jeremiah Fink as an engineer, and you start to regret it once you see the working conditions.

“Move that box, negro!”

Even after Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery, this futuristic sky city is a racist nightmare. Non-white/Non-American people here are treated like trash, and they do the jobs nobody wants to do for a misery of payment. This isn’t so different than the southern land you abandoned.

“As you can see, Mr. Strider, everything in Fink Manufacturing work as part of a simple system organized with the best accuracy.” Fink said. “The lions like us work as the mind of the company doing all the complex tasks of research and development, while the cattle do all the mundane jobs. Isn’t it simple?”

“So, what am I supossed to work for here?”

“Well, I need someone to be in charge of the management of the production of some sections of the factory, and I have most of the smart people working on the Handyman project. Also, I would like to see your progress in this device you promised to built.”

“It will take time to built it, but I can finish if no other stuff happens.”

“Also, you will have an assistant it finish in time.”

With assisstnat Fink obviously meant slave. He sent to your workshop a black man who looked pissed off.

“Greetings, my name is David Strider, but you can call me Dave.”

“Karkat…”

He was suprpised that you were extending you hand waiting for a handshake.

“Anyway, Mr. Fink told me you can read.”

“So what? Can’t a black man read a romance story without the big man lashing at him?”

“No, I mean… can you read what is in this list?”

He takes the piece of paper and reads it aloud.

“4 rolls of copper cables, 1 condensation unit, 3 voxophones…”

“Can you bring everything in that list?”

“Yes, but I doubt I can be allowed to some of the stores that sell this things.”

“I will give you my permission and some of the big man’s presentation cards.”

You give him some silver eagles and documentation.

“Whatever, I will be on my way.”

For the next days you work managing the production of skyhooks (you tested one after work), and continue with the development of a new innovative product. Karkat is a useful assistant by following all your instructions and cleaning the mess you leave.

“Dammit, Strider! I thought white people had decency.”

“Yeah, that’s a lie, like anything else Fink promotes.” You are still with a hangover from the party at Feferi’s house. That girl will have problems if Comstock discovers all her egalitarian stuff in her mansion.

“True, he is full of bullshit.”

“Wow, I am surprised, Mr. Vantas.”

“Just because of my skin color I can’t criticize my own boss?”

“I thought you would be less open with someone who is technically your superior.”

“Don’t make me laugh, Strider. You are obviously not racist. In all you time here you haven’t insulted the other employees in the factory, nor beaten them; also, you give a decent payment.”

“Yeah, I don’t give a shit about that. I am here to make money, not to mock other people by using religious bullshit. Care to tend to some things in today’s list?”

“Are you sure you can Finish this thing before Fink decides you are no longer useful for him?”

“Relax. When this machine starts working Fink will beg for me to give him the patents, and you will receive the appropriate compensation for your work.”

“Or we can end falling out of Columbia.”

Chapter 11: John: zapping across paradox space

Summary:

John decides to take a break from Terezi's plan and to do something else before completing the final instruction. What can go wrong? Also the Doctor knows.

Chapter Text

After doing some retcon missions for Terezi, you decide to use your powers to travel to more interesting places before doing the final instruction. What would be next? Stealing another dragon? Writing another confusing message in a wall? You hope the last instruction isn’t something lame. Considering you can travel any time you want to any point in her chronology, maybe you can do something else. Toa void changing the story you can travel to somewhere not related to your story.

“Why I didn’t thought about it before? Well, I did, but it was just some random idea.”

You have been irrationally wanting to alter the famous TV show of Doctor Who, even if you aren’t such a fan. Let’s face it, you only like terrible things which explain why you like Conair and your only romantic relationships in your lives have been a murderous alien and a nihilistic rogue.

Doctor

Doctor’s POV:

Clara is busy doing her work as a teacher, and you’re inside the TARDIS seeing old memories from beloved friends… most of which you don’t remember because of your new regeneration. An old photo from a blonde girl catches your attention.

“Rose… What the…?”

A zapping noise catches you attention. You can feel the presence of a time traveling entity inside your TARDIS… an anomaly that shouldn’t be here.

“I know you are here. Show yourself!”

Then a ridiculous hat with rabbit ears appears in your head.

“I wondered when I was going to use one of this. Those were the good old times with fezzes and scarfs. So you are a prankster? Is that all you have?”

The mysterious entity pushes you with a wind gust. You don’t know who it is, but you know you have to stop it. You scan the area with your sonic screwdriver and analyze the data.

“It is curious that you aren’t leaving any material trail, meaning you can become non material which is impossible. Although I can’t see you, I detect the presence of a circular anomaly composed of apparently gold, and… gushers.”

You point your sonic screwdriver in a direction and do a sonic thing.

“Aaahhh!” The entity screams and falls to the ground.

John’s POV:

You wake up after being unconscious for a few hours, and see a man standing in front of you.

“Who are you, and what is the purpose of you being in my TARDIS?”

“Wait, aren’t you Peter Capaldi?”

“Who is Peter Capaldi? I am the Doctor, and you are an intruder.”

It seems like instead of travelling to the production of the TV show you traveled to the story of the show. Considering you were in Conair at the beginning of your retconning adventures it has sense.

“I am John Egbert, and I came here by accident. I didn’t knew I could come here in the first place.”

“How have you been moving around? Do you have some time hopping technology?”

“It is difficult to explain. I don’t time travel in the usual sense. I can travel through the canon.”

“What canon? You are saying you can travel through events like if they were a book?”

“Basically yes.”

“That sounds stupid. Time doesn’t work like that. You shouldn't be here in the first place. Non material boy.”

The Doctor walks to the console of his ship and starts pressing buttons, pulling levers, watching computer screens, etc.

“What is that ring you are carrying? It is covered in voidy stuff. Have you been in the void?”

“Well, it came from the furthest ring, so it is technically the void.”

“That ring is emitting a life force like any other I have seen before. What is this thing?”

That guy reminds you of Karkat with all his crabbiness, but he also scares you a bit.

“It is the ring of life. It can bring anyone who wears it to life. I am planning on giving it to my friend Roxy so she revive her dead friend.”

The Doctor walks to a chalkboard and writes something. You can see the words Ring of Life and Non Material Boy appear.

“Ring of Life, Non Material Boy, Voidy stuff, wind powers, and traveling though the canon. I have been so dumb at seein the obvious! You aren’t from this universe!” The Doctor points at you. “Whatever universe you come from the laws of physics work in a way that lets you travel across all known realities like if everything is a cosmic story. Maybe it is possible…”

He then runs downstairs and returns a few minutes later with a box.

“You say you can travel through canon, whatever that is. Can you deliver these letters?”

“My powers don’t work that way. I need an specific keyword for every retcon. Like an special word.”

He takes out a pencil and writes over the envelopes.

“Please, deliver them.”

“Okay, but can you promise to make some pranks with your TARDIS. It would be cool to prank people throught time and space.”

“I will, just go!”

Ok, this man is like an old version of what would be the son of Karkat and Terezi. You better sent this envelopes.

After surviving the attack of an evil Christmas Tree you find a blue envelope in the kitchen.

Dear Jackie Tyler,

Don’t worry if things are going to be strange for the next few months. Everything will be fine. Also, you were the least annoying mother of a companion I have known.

Dear Rose,

I love you.

You are walking outside that hotel with a broken arm, and your father is going to die. What can be the worst thing to happen now?

“Are you Riversong?”

Dear River,

I am sorry for what happened to your arm. I was just so furious, and I couldn’t think clearly. If you are seeing this it means I could sent a message through that zone limited to the timeline, and I am currently a thousand years older than before. You have the right to be angry, but I just want to ask for forgiveness… If you can forgive an idiot.

You know who
