Beans & Mugs

Summary:

Hyunjin wasn't the type of person to just click with anyone or spend a normal night with a stranger he never knew existed before a few hours ago. But there was something about Seungmin that made it so easy to just spend time together without so much physical contact.

Notes:

This is for Hyunjin's birthday!

Happy Birthday Hyunjin <3

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

It was already midnight when Hyunjin took a sip from his coffee. See, it would be normal if he was in a café or maybe in his apartment, but he’s at a frat party. He was holding a plain white mug, his warm coffee reaching his nose as he took another sip. He wanted to join the fun and get drunk tonight, maybe even sleep with the guy he came with as a celebration for finishing the midterms exam.

But he has no interest in doing so tonight, even though it’s a Friday night. He sighed, looking around the crowded room. Hyunjin was sitting on a bar stool that was by the island of an open kitchen. It was quieter there and he could see everyone. Whoever owned this house was mad rich, maybe even richer than he was.

He rolled his eyes when he saw his date dancing with some random guy, laughing and already drunk even though it’s only been an hour since they arrived. His date left him to get their drinks and never came back, so he decided to make himself coffee and judge people on the side.

He sees his lab partner and senior, Bang Chan, talking to his boyfriend, Changbin, both of them giggling and drinking like they were in their own world. “Lucky.” He commented, drinking from his drink again as he scanned the room once more.

His eyes spotted Jeongin, a freshman, having a game with Hyunjin’s seatmate in Literature, Felix. They seem to be having a staring contest, both of them almost tearing up while another senior, Minho and Felix’s best friend, Jisung, was cheering for who they thought was going to win. “At least they’re having fun.” He said, a bit of sarcastic tone can be heard in his voice since he wished he was too.

He raised his cup again, but he didn’t get to drink because a body slammed from behind him, making him spill his coffee on the ground and his hand. He gasped, standing up from the bar stool and looking at his precious coffee before placing the mug on the island. “Are you okay?” A voice asked and he looked up, annoyed at the person. “No. You wasted my drink!” Hyunjin called out.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” The guy answered as he looked at the ground to see the spilled drink Hyunjin was talking about and he blinked, leaning close and squinting his eyes to see. “What is that?” He asked and Hyunjin walked over to the sink, washing his hand. “Coffee.” He answered, sighing as he put soap on his hand and rubbed it, pouting.

“You drink coffee at a frat party?” He heard behind him and Hyunjin glanced back to see the person squatting down with tissue papers, trying to clean it up. Hyunjin put his hands under the water as he saw a boxed orange juice on the island that wasn’t there before. “You drink orange juice at a frat party?” He asked back, turning the faucet off and wiping his hands with a hand towel.

The guy lifted his head up, a smile forming on his face before he chuckled. “I didn’t want to get drunk.” He answered before taking the wet tissues and putting them in the trash before wiping the floor one more time before he went to the sink. Hyunjin moved to the side and he nodded. “Me too.” He answered, sighing once again. “It’s a boring party.” He adds.

The guy agreed and they were quiet for a moment, Hyunjin let the person clean his hands while he listened to the music playing. It was a bit awkward, Hyunjin didn’t know if he should leave or stay since he was the first one here. He was about to leave when the person spoke again. “I’m Seungmin.” The person said beside him and Hyunjin turned his head to see the guy reaching out a hand. “I’m sorry?” Hyunjin asked, leaning a bit to hear him again.

“I’m Kim Seungmin.” The guy introduced and Hyunjin grinned, nodding his head as he shook his head. “Hwang Hyunjin.” He answered back. Seungmin’s head tilted a bit before his eyes widened. “Oh.” Seungmin said, pointing at him with his other hand. “What?” Hyunjin asked as they let each other’s hands go.

“You’re that one that performed during the sophomore party.” Seungmin answered, looking at him from his shoes to his hair. “You were blonde before.” Seungmin said, smiling at him. “Black looks good on you too.” Seungmin added and Hyunjin’s cheeks started to heat up. “Oh, you remember me?” He asked, obviously ignoring the compliment from an equally attractive person and Seungmin nodded.

“You’re an amazing dancer.” He complimented and Hyunjin chuckled, giving him a kind smile. “Thank you so much.” He said and Seungmin waved a hand. “You’re welcome.” Seungmin said and they fell silent again, a more comfortable one this time. Hyunjin did what he always did with new people; he tried to get a feeling if they were weird or suspicious.

Seungmin wasn’t any of those.

Seungmin gave off a friendly vibe, awkward, yet comfortable. Seungmin wore a jean jacket with a white shirt inside that was tucked in black ripped jeans and white shoes. Pretty casual and it suited him a lot. Hyunjin found that more attractive than what his “date” was wearing.

“This party really is boring.” Seungmin finally said, scratching the back of his head. “I gave it a chance to be not boring and it still is.” Seungmin adds and Hyunjin frowned, looking at him thinking that he wasn’t interesting enough for him. Hyunjin watched Seungmin sigh. Is he not at least having a tiny bit of fun just standing in a corner with him.

He removed his frown when Seungmin turned his head towards him. “Do you want to go have fun somewhere else?” He asked and Hyunjin stared at him. “What?” He asked in shock and Seungmin chuckled. “You said you’re bored too right?” He asked back and Hyunjin gulped, he never hooked up sober before. Only tipsy or not at all, but this party was slowly taking bits of his life and crushing it to pieces so he nodded.

“Yeah, let’s leave.”

Hyunjin let Seungmin drive him to where he expects him to be, leaving his own car at the party. He can get it tomorrow if he can. Seungmin started the car as Hyunjin put his seatbelt on before he nervously tapped his fingers.

“Where are we going?” Seungmin asked, expecting Seungmin to say; “To my apartment.” or “My dorm.” or maybe even; “To a hotel.” since his car looked expensive, he could probably afford a room. But Seungmin only answered with; “You’ll see.”

Hyunjin inhaled deeply as he looked out the window and watched the street-lamps become prettily lit buildings. They were in the car for at least thirty minutes, heading into town in the same comfortable silence they had in the kitchen. Hyunjin thought that maybe they were going to a hotel, but then the car stopped in front of a building, instead of a hotel.

“What.. are you planning?” Hyunjin asked as he turned his head towards him, pointing on his side of the window and Hyunjin leaned over, not noticing how close his face was in front of Seungmin. Seungmin noticed though and he tried to lean back, but his head was already pressed on the seat. Hyunjin looks more closely and he lets out a ‘huh’ before leaning back to look at the slightly shocked Seungmin.

“Karaoke?” He asked and Seungmin exhaled before chuckling. “It’s better than sitting in a kitchen and watching people have fun.” Seungmin answered, taking his seatbelt off. “Come on.” He said and Hyunjin chuckled, almost exhaling in relief that Seungmin wasn’t planning on sleeping with anyone tonight too.

He got out of the car and Seungmin locked it before he led Hyunjin in the 24-hour karaoke place. “How did you find a 24-hour karaoke?” Hyunjin asked as they headed inside an elevator. “Oh, I spend my time here a lot. I’m a regular, you might say.” Seungmin answered before inhaling deeply. “I usually can’t sleep at night.” He adds and Hyunjin looks at him through the reflection of the elevator doors.

“Me too.” Hyunjin answered and Seungmin looked at him. “I usually can’t sleep too.” He continued before giving Seungmin a smile. He knew what it was like to not be able to sleep no matter how hard he tried. He didn’t want to take pills and sometimes it helped him finish his requirements. The elevator doors opened and it opened right at the lobby of the karaoke place. “Seungmin!” The lady at the counter called when they stepped in.

Hyunjin watched as Seungmin gave her a smile. The lady looked older than they were, hair bleached and make-up fits her cute face perfectly. “Hi, Jeongyeon-noona.” He greets back before pointing at his new friend. “This is Hyunjin. Hyunjin, this is Jeongyeon-noona.” He introduced them and Hyunjin gave her a little wave. “Nice to meet you.” Hyunjin said and Jeongyeon nodded, giving him a big smile.

“You’re pretty.” She said and Hyunjin lets out a shy laugh, thanking her. “Okay, please give me the key to my room?” Seungmin asked and Hyunjin glanced at Seungmin. My room? He thought as Jeongyeon handed Seungmin the key. “Take this.” Jeongyeon said to Hyunjin, handing him a menu.

Seungmin started walking and Hyunjin followed him after one last ‘thank you’ for Jeongyeon. “Seungmin will know what to do. Enjoy.” She called out as he continued to walk behind Seungmin. Most of the karaoke places that Hyunjin has gone to were sketchy and dark, but this karaoke place that Seungmin brought him too was well lit, has a friendly staff member and everything looked clean.

Seungmin unlocks a room by the end and enters, Hyunjin follows behind him. His jaw dropped when he saw a room lit with red led lights on each corner, a table sat in the middle that was surrounded by comfortable looking connected sofas, there were three white padded walls and a pure black tiled wall where the television and speakers were set up.

“Wow.” He said, closing the door behind him as he continued to look around. “Have you never seen a karaoke room?” Seungmin asked in a chuckle as he took the songbook and remote before sitting on the sofa and Hyunjin scoffed with a smile on his face. “I have, but it was always cramped, small.” He answered before sitting beside Seungmin and looking at the menu.

“If you want to order, press this button and she’ll be notified.” Seungmin said, pointing at the red button on the table and Hyunjin nodded. “Okay.” Seungmin states, smacking the songbook. “Let the fun begin.” He adds.

And they did have fun.

They ordered a bunch of colas, chips and fries as they went on singing songs after songs, laughing, dancing and even fake crying when they sang a sad song. They were sweating and out of breath when they finished their last song for the night, both of them took off their jackets since it got hot in the room too.

They sang so many songs in an hour and a half that they were so thirsty and sweaty. Seungmin was drinking water when Hyunjin spoke. “You have a really amazing voice.” Hyunjin said, fanning himself as he watched Seungmin almost spit out the water from his mouth.

Seungmin caught himself and swallowed it first before he faced Hyunjin, waving a hand. “I don’t.” He answered, laughing before taking a tissue to wipe his sweat on his neck. Hyunjin threw a used tissue at him, keeping himself from staring at Seungmin for too long.

“Are you kidding me? You hit that high note while sitting down!” Hyun exclaimed, complimenting him instead and Seungmin threw the tissue back at him. “No I didn’t, you heard me wrong!” Seungmin denied and Hyunjin rolled his eyes.

“You did and you won’t change my mind.” He answered back and Seungmin rolled his eyes too. They’ve gotten more comfortable now after all the singing and dancing they did. “I need some air.” Hyunjin said as he wiped a sweat from his chin. “I’m sweating so much, I think we’re in a sauna.” He added and Seungmin laughed, nodding his head.

They collected their trash before putting it in the bin, they headed out of the sauna of a room and was greeted with the cold wind coming from the opened window. They said goodbye to Jeongyeon after Seungmin paid for them despite him saying that they should split it before they rode the elevator down.

They stopped walking when they exited the building. The cold wind hit them again and they both opened their arms at the same time to feel it. They accidentally hit each other’s arm and they laughed, turning to face each other and open their arms again. Hyunjin closed his eyes, letting the wind hit his face and let it blow his hair away from his face.

He could feel Seungmin looking at him and he opened his eyes to check. Seungmin was looking at him with a fond smile, but he turned away, pretending that he wasn’t just admiring Hyunjin’s beauty. “What next?” Hyunjin asked and Seungmin hums, crossing his arms as he thinks of what to do next. “Do you want to walk?” Seungmin asked and Hyunjin gave him a confused look while they wear their jackets again. “Here?” He asked and Seungmin nodded.

“The buildings are beautiful here and I want to treat you something, but it’s at the end of the street.” Seungmin answered. “Treat me again?” Hyunjin asked, pouting a bit. “Aren’t you wasting your money on a stranger?” He asked again and Seungmin laughed, bending down a bit. “Okay, how about this.” He said, taking a step forward towards him and Hyunjin listened.

“I treat you tonight and if you still want to pay me back after this, you can meet me on Monday at lunch.” He suggested and Hyunjin thinks, looking at Seungmin who had a genuine look in his eyes, a bit of sweat still dripping on the side of his face and yet he still looked attractive. Hyunjin shrugs, nodding his head. “Okay.” He answered. “Deal.” He finished and Seungmin nodded.

“Okay! Let’s head this way.” Seungmin said and they started walking. “What’s your course?” Hyunjin asked after a few steps, trying to keep the conversation going. Seungmin combed back his hair and Hyunjin had to stop himself from admiring the way his black hair shined because of the sweat and the colorful lights from the buildings.

“Arts.” He answered, inhaling when another gush of wind hits them.“Oh! Me too! How come I don’t see you often?” Hyunjin asked again, excited at the fact that they were in the same course. “Uh, I’m in the English and Linguistics department.” Seungmin answered once again, chuckling when Hyunjin nodded, realizing why he never saw Seungmin. “I’m in the Creative and Visual Arts department.” Hyunjin answered.

The English and Linguistics department was in Building C and Hyunjin’s department was in Building E, which was a building apart from each other. “So, English? How’s that going?” Hyunjin asked, curious since he only learned basic english from Chan, Felix, his past English lessons and Netflix. Seungmin combed back his hair again and Hyunjin was yet again, amazed at how soft it looked.

“It was hard at first.” Seungmin answered truthfully and Hyunjin snapped back into reality and tried to listen to him. “But when I met a few half-Koreans that were taking the lesson because they needed to..” Seungmin paused to laugh. “..it was easier.” He continued. “They helped me a lot and yeah.” He said, scratching the back of his head. Hyunjin looked around the street and Seungmin was right, the colors of each of the buildings were beautiful.

The signs and the shops had different designs from each other and there were not much people in the area as well. Lanterns were hung from building to building, giving the right amount of light on the street that there were no shady spots to do anything illegal. Hyunjin smiles, he liked this place. He liked the cold air, the lights and he also liked that he was with Seungmin tonight.

“How about you? How is it in your department?” Seungmin asked, breaking him out of his thoughts. Hyunjin hums, stepping away from a puddle that he almost put his foot in before following the cracked line that he has been following while they were walking. “I’m majoring in modelling and fashion.” Hyunjin said, smiling to himself. “I’ve always been interested in dressing up, as you can see.” He adds, pointing at his outfit.

Hyunjin was wearing black skinny jeans that showed off his long legs, a few chain loops on the side, a simple black button up tucked in with the first two buttons off to show the silver he was wearing and boots. Seungmin nods once he fully looks at his outfit. “Simple but attractive.” Seungmin commented and Hyunjin shyly chuckled, nodding his head. “Yeah, and that’s why it’s easy for me, I guess.” He answered.

They continued talking about their course and how it has been in their own departments and found similarities as well as differences. It was almost two in the morning when they reached an empty café. "We're here." Seungmin said, pointing at the café.

It had a very cozy feel because of the wooden panels and the porch-like design for the entrance. Big letters were patched on a big flat wood that spelled "Beans & Mugs" in different painted colors. "A café?" Hyunjin asked, looking at Seungmin who was waiting for his reaction. The other was biting on his lip while his hands were clasped together. "Uh, I wanted to treat you to coffee since I spilled yours." He said, looking in his eyes and Hyunjin felt butterflies erupt in his stomach.

Hyunjin coughed in shock. He never felt that before and he thought that could only happen in movies and stories. But then again, no one has ever tried to take him out for coffee or even a karaoke night. They always expected to just sleep with him or messily make-out in a room.

He didn't mind those, but he also wanted to experience something like this once or twice. "Are you okay?" Seungmin asked, looking at him and Hyunjin nodded, clearing his throat. "Yeah." He answered. "So, coffee?" Hyunjin asked.

They headed inside and the café was cozier inside. There were booths that had soft looking cushions, a few tables that had pretty looking chairs and the walls and floors were all wood. They sat on one of the tables with two chairs as they looked at the menu that they took from the stand by the door. A soft tune was playing through the speakers and the cashier was patiently waiting at her station. "This is a nice café." Hyunjin said, looking at the poetry and pictures that were framed and hung on the wall.

"I'm glad you like it. I was nervous that you wouldn't." Seungmin states and Hyunjin smiled before looking at the menu. "I think I would just have an americano." He said, biting on his lip as he continued to scan the menu. "Do you want any food?" Seungmin asked even though they just ate a ton of chips before.

"I want a brownie." Hyunjin answered anyway because he liked a brownie with coffee when he went to cafés. Seungmin nodded before he stood up. "I'll order it then. Wait here or look around." He said before going to the man at the cashier. Hyunjin stood up, heading towards the wall with picture frames.

There are old photos of the café, it looked only slightly different because they improved some stuff like the ceilings lights and the windows. The wooden walls and floor were also renovated, but the overall feel of the place from before to now was the same for him. The big sign at the top of the place looked the same, but cleaner.

There were photos of people he doesn't know, some taken by film and some printed. He smiled, it must've been nice to be here from the start. He then read the poems, quotes and personal writings when he saw it.

There was one that he particularly liked because it fit his situation right now;

A few hours with you felt like a decade. Though we didn't do much, we only laughed and such, I would still choose to spend more hours that feels like a decade than spend a few minutes with a person that isn't you.

He smiles, mind drifting to Seungmin. Hyunjin wasn't the type of person to just click with anyone or spend a normal night with a stranger he never knew existed before a few hours ago. But there was something about Seungmin that made it so easy to just spend time together without so much physical contact.

He took out his phone and took a few pictures of the writing. "Hey." He hears behind him and he turns around, clearing his throat as he puts his phone back in his pocket. "Watcha looking at?" Seungmin asked and Hyunjin pointed at a random photo of people. "They seem to love the place." Hyunjin excused.

"But I can see why." Hyunjin adds, looking around the place again. The cashier has their back turned from them, making the coffees and the soft tune changed into another song. "Yeah." Seungmin agreed, also looking at the place. Hyunjin steps in front of the window to look at the bright road again.

"Why does it look like a ghost town though? Where are all the people?" He asked and Seungmin leaned on the wall. "Most of them went home. Some people get sleepy, you know." Seungmin answered in a teasing voice and Hyunjin laughed before mimicking him.

They sat down at their table again and just looked at each other. Hyunjin can tell that Seungmin wanted to say something, so he waited. It took until the waiter brought their order for Seungmin to speak. Hyunjin inhaled the smell of coffee and smiled as he listened for Seungmin. "Do you want.." Seungmin started but paused, glancing at the side before sighing. "Do you want to watch the sunrise with me?" He asked before rubbing his cheeks when he saw Hyunjin's shocked face.

"That was cringey, oh my god." He adds, covering his face and this time Hyunjin giggled cutely, smiling that his eyes were almost lines. "Yeah." Hyunjin answered and Seungmin peeked through his fingers. "What?" He asked in a muffled voice. "Yeah, I would like to watch the sunset with you."

And that was where whatever it was started, under the cozy lights with the soft music and coffee inside the Beans & Mugs café.

They drank their coffee and shared the brownies while they talked about their family, slowly, but surely catching feelings with each other. Hyunjin thought this was absurd, how can he like someone under a few hours of just talking and eating? It was out of this world because of how much he liked when Seungmin laughed while he talked about his experiences or how he intently listened when he talked about his failures and giving him a small smile lf comfort. It was mind-blowing how attractive Seungmin looked and yet he didn't think of undressing him as much as, only wanting to run his hands through his hair and maybe hug him.

Hyunjin never backed down from anything, so if he goes for it in the morning when the sun rises, he wouldn't think of what the outcome will be.

They get into Seungmin's car again, the other saying that he knew a place where the sun rises beautifully. Hyunjin watched as the buildings turned into trees and the straight road became more steep. It was almost five in the morning when they got there. "Two hours passed, you're not killing me, are you?" Hyunjin teased and Seungmin laughed once again, tickling Hyunjin's ears.

"No, I only do that on Wednesdays." He teased back. Hyunjin inhales, a little smile on his face as he watches Seungmin drive with a little smile too. "Seungmin." Hyunjin said and the other hummed in response, glancing at him. "What is it?" He asked.

"Nothing, you just look so handsome." He said, almost out of it. The coffee might be getting to him. Seungmin lightly pushed his shoulder before holding the steering wheel again. "You can't just drop compliments like that." Seungmin laughed out and Hyunjin chuckled. "I can't help it." He said and Seungmin sighed.

"You look pretty." He states shortly and Hyunjin laughed this time. "Thank you." He accepted. Seungmin was thankful that they arrived because if Hyunjin complimented him again, he might crash the car. He doesn't know how to take compliments, you see.

He stopped the car a few feet away from the cliff that he brought them at. "Wow." Hyunjin said, eyes wide as he got out. The view was amazing. He could see street-lamps and the lights from buildings, they looked like stars. "Wow." He repeats when he sees the dark sky. "Hey, come here." Seungmin called and he turned his attention to the other who was placing a blanket on the hood of the car. "Do you always come here?" Hyunjin asked when Seungmin hopped on top of the hood to sit comfortably. "I do." Seungmin answered, helping Hyunjin up to sit beside him.

"There's an hour before the sun rises, are you sleepy?" Seungmin asked and Hyunjin yawned at the same time. They laughed, Hyunjin fixing his hair as he leaned on the windshield like Seungmin was. "Coffee makes me sleepy instead of keeping me awake." Hyunjin answered, closing his eyes a bit, before opening them to admire the city. "I knew Seoul looked beautiful, but seeing it here looks breath-taking." He said, yawning again, busy looking at the lights.

"I know exactly what you mean." Seungmin answered. Little did Hyunjin know, Seungmin wasn't referring to the city. Hyunjin's face was lit up a bit from the lights coming at the view. Even with his sleepy smile and half-lidded eyes, Seungmin found him breath-taking.

They enjoyed the view for an hour, Hyunjin somehow ending up under Seungmin's arm, his head on his chest as he took a nap. Seungmin said he would wake him up when it was time. For an hour, Seungmin tried not to watch him like a creepy dude, he only took glances. Hyunjin looked more beautiful while sleeping.

God, if he doesn't do anything to ask him out again later, he would jump off the cliff. He sighed and looked at the view again to see the sun peeking through the line. "Hyunjin." He whispered, tapping his arm. "Hyunjin." He repeated, taking the hair away from Hyunjin's face.

Hyunjin slowly opened his eyes and blinked for a few seconds to check where he was. When he realized where, he relaxed before looking at Seungmin. "Hi." He greeted before sitting properly, making Seungmin take his arm off him.

"Hi. The sun's up." He said and Hyunjin rubbed his eyes for a bit before looking at the sun. He smiles happily, leaning on the windshield again. "This was one of the items in my bucket list." He said, voice a bit raspy. "Really?" Seungmin asked and he nodded, still looking at the slow rise of the sun.

They watched the sun in silence, admiring as it lit up the sleeping city. The sun was out of the shadows when Hyunjin nodded. "I think I'm okay to leave now." He said, turning his head to Seungmin who looked at him. "Yeah?" He asked and Hyunjin nodded, smiling at him. "Yeah. Thank you." He said, putting a hand on Seungmin's shoulder before he hopped off the hood. "You're welcome." He answered shortly.

The way back to the frat's house was only filled with silence except with the sound of morning radio from Seungmin's car. Hyunjin was contemplating if he should ask for his number or say anything. But the ride was short even though it felt like hours. Seungmin parked his car and turned the engine off in front of the house. It looked trashed and some people were just leaving the party. They both got out, Seungmin walking towards him.

Hyunjin took his seatbelt off and faced Seungmin who was also facing him. "Thank you for tonight." Hyunjin said, gulping down words he actually wanted to say. "I'll see you on Monday?" He asked and Seungmin nodded, not saying anything. "Bye." Hyunjin said, backing down for the first time in his life.

He turned around and started walking to the direction of his car, a disappointed look on his face. But then he stopped walking. No, he can't just let this one person who made him realize that a night with someone didn't have to be on a bed or a crappy motel go. He turned around to run towards Seungmin, to tell him that he wants to go out with him again and to maybe kiss his cheek. But what he got was something far greater than that.

Seungmin was already in front of him, looking at him with so many different emotions. "I-" Seungmin stopped when Hyunjin kissed his cheek, Hyunjin’s soft plump lips touching his smooth skin. They both waited for what was next, so Seungmin took this chance to cup Hyunjin's cheeks and lean in. Hyunjin smiled a bit when he felt Seungmin's soft lips touch his.

Different.

It felt different than all the other kisses he had. This was more passionate and slow. Hyunjin gripped Seungmin's jacket, attempting to pull him closer and Seungmin chuckled between kisses. That feeling of relief and happiness was very evident with their smiles and little stolen kisses.

"Do you want to go out with me again?" Seungmin asked when he pulled back, their foreheads touching. "Yes." Hyunjin answered, kissing him again, wrapping his arms around his shoulders as Seungmin placed him on his waist.

Monday came and Hyunjin made sure to buy Seungmin's lunch. It was an excuse to see each other again even though they already started dating. After their classes that afternoon, they went to Beans & Mugs for a coffee date. You would think that they wouldn't have anything to talk about, but they talked about everything and anything. It was easy.

Beans & Mugs became their place.

When they graduated, they spent their evening there after a party with friends, drinking coffee to level out the alcohol they drank. They spent their anniversaries there as well as simple sleepless nights. Seungmin proposed to Hyunjin there too, a picture getting taken by the owner and put on the wall beside the quote that Hyunjin took a photo of the night they met.

To some, it takes years to be sure of someone before they decide to be with a person, but to them, it took a few hours.
