Wish You Were My Disney Prince

Summary:

Ever since his older brother blurted out a love confession to his now husband in front of their entire families, Krist has secretly wished for a cheesy Disney-like love story for himself too. A dashing prince who would make him his One and Only.

Ever since his uncle dragged him along to ogle at his then crush and now husband and led him to meet the cutest toddler (someone is biased) turned best friend, Singto has only ever looked at Krist. However hard he tries to turn the other way- he can't keep his eyes away from the gorgeous boy. The problem is, he's definitely not the Disney Prince that someone wants him to be.

A cliche spin-off and sequel of He's A Damn Disney Prince. This can probably be read standalone, but I recommend reading the other book first. I promise longing fluff, lots of cuddling and kissies.

Notes:

A/N: A couple of things before we FINALLY dive into it. This is a spin-off and also a sequel. What that means is that while KongArt aren't the main leads, they are very much present in the backdrop of KristSing's story. Their story will also be mentioned, so it might be better for new readers to go read it once before starting this story. It's a quick six-chapter read, so I promise it won't take too long (hides away in a corner and waves a white flag). Anyways, please enjoy!

Chapter 1: Square One

Chapter Text

Prologue

Present (23 & 25)

"P'Sing"

"Hmm"

"P'Singtooo"

"Hmm"

"Tuannn?"

Krist grinned up triumphantly when his best friend finally kept his book aside with a long suffering sigh and looked down. His childhood friend definitely had a weakness for whenever he whined at him, especially when he used the nickname. The older sat up straighter from his perch against the tree, carefully cradling the younger's head on his lap to avoid jostling him. Kit reached up to push up the glasses on Singto's nose, his dimple making an impish appearance.

"What's up Kit?" Singto pinched his cheek lightly, dodging the swatting hands of the junior.

"I am bored P'Singggg" the younger pouted at him beseechingly, making the elder grin. Lazy afternoons were definitely not Krist's vibe and his restless energy was beginning to show.

"We have a rare day off together Kitkit, can't you let me rest for once?" Singto moaned, throwing his head back against the tree. He'd had a tough week in office and he just wanted to relax peacefully with his most precious person in the world. The weather was surprisingly pleasant and the comfortable shade under which they were seated in his backyard was slowly beginning to make him drowsy.

"But P'Singggg" Krist turned around and buried his head into Singto's stomach, "Okay. Fine. Can you tell me a story?"

"Kitkit-"

"Please P'Sing" Seeing the elder's deadpan expression, Krist relented, "Not a story, okay, Let's talk about us then"

"Us?" Singto froze and asked with bated breath, suddenly the peaceful afternoon felt too silent in comparison to the loud heartbeat ringing in his ears.

"Yes us, P'Sing! Why do you look so serious?" Krist laughed, "Do you remember the day we first met?"

Singto laughed hollowly. Of course. Krist wanted to go down memory lane. Why did he think that Krist meant something different? He hadn't hinted at anything beyond friendship these past years.

"Of course I do. Lung dragged me along to keep you distracted from P'Oon after all" Singto shook away his tired thoughts and smiled fondly down at the junior. That particular memory always made him happy.

Krist chuckled, "P'Kong was so funny, he kept trying to get P'Oon's attention. Now that I remember..."
