Chapter Text

Phil was in the middle of one of his tedious jobs, well not really tedious and it was more of a hobby then anything. Phil was in the middle of stitching together another stuffed animal, another small crow plush, this one would be wearing a scrap of red fabric he found the other day, he always wanted to make them look different from each other, have their own personalities. This one he was going to simply name “Red” and he smiled at him. Phil had been making things doing things, well for a very very long time, hundreds of years pass and he didn’t really notice, so he’s started to pick up certain tasks that help him keep track of time, if not daily then weekly. He also farms and grows flowers when it gets warm out, but it is currently fall and he didn’t have a lot going on since harvest season was winding down.

Oh look Red was done, he smiled and tied the fabric around Red’s neck before picking up a small ball of red yarn, he was going to make Red a beanie so that he wouldn’t get to cold, and he looked a bit different from the several other crow plushies lying around, he slowly started knitting and when he was nearly done with the beanie he looked up a realized the sun was setting. He nodded to himself and finished the beanie that was a bit to big for Red, and decided to step outside into the world of the living, aka the forest he lives next to and empty land, but he spots something, in that forest, it looked like movement of some kind, it’s probably just one of the wolves finding a sheep nearby, the forest is full of them, then why does he feel like he’s being watched then? No one should be out there. 

He mentally decides that he should go check on that, if there is someone out there, they’ve probably heard some legend about him and what he’s done over the many many years of existing in this world and wants some advice or some form of protection for the night, it is rapidly getting dark out and if they wanna stay over, he should probably grab them now. 

He very quickly grabbed a sword, shield, and bow just in case mobs decided they wanted to attack and started walking out swiftly towards where he saw the movement, he then saw it again and two small faces popped out, one was a ram or sheep hybrid, only apparent by his ears and is dense looking hair, he looked really small around 4 or 5 years old, the other one looked more like boar hybrid, the smallest tusks peeking out of his mouth and curly brown hair that was all over the place, looked a few years older, maybe 7 or 8, both of the kids looked like they needed haircuts or something similar.

“Hey, are you Philza?” the ram-boy asked softly, “I am Philza, but you can just call me Phil, what can I do for you boys? Do you need some help with something? Did something happen in town?” Phil asked with a worried look as to why two young kids we’re out so late at night by themselves, suddenly the boar-hybrid motioned to the bush and nodded as two other kids came out, one with long pink hair and looked to be the boar's brother, maybe twins? They looked the part, and some enderman-hybrid, he was of course taller than all the other kids, so he’ll have to ask how old he is when they get to the house, but there is one last thing he realizes “Why do you guys have a baby what’s going on?” he said holding his hands out and the pink haired boy handed over the infant which he quickly took and brought close to himself, before the boar-hybrid spoke. 

“It was too dangerous at home, everything was going wrong and me and Techno didn’t want him getting hurt” he said motioning to the pink-haired boy, he assumes that is Techno “The other two wanted to join because they also didn’t home so we brought them with us to help with Tommy” he infers the infant is Tommy, listening intently, “Then Tubbo said you lived on the outskirts of town, and you take care of people all the time so we were wondering if you’d help us take care of Tommy, and help us get some supplies” he explained, while looking at Techno and the sheep who he presumed was Tubbo, 

“I’m not going to let a group of kids just up and leave, it is very dangerous out there, I’m going to take you back to my house, we’ll figure out where you guys will be sleeping then we can talk in the morning about how long you need to stay here.” he said holding Tommy and picking up the boat hybrid as well “By the way, mates what are all of your  names?” he asked while crouching down as maybe Tubbo looked in question and he nodded and Tubbo climbed onto his back giggling, he then stood up smiling and started to walk, the enderman hybrid and maybe Techno started to follow behind them as he walked back. 

“My name is Wilbur, and the baby’s name is Tommy, the one on your back is Tubbo, and the pink boy is Technoblade, but call him Techno he doesn’t like his full first name, and the tall guy is Ranboo, he’s really good friends with Tubbo” he said pointing best he could, he was finally slowing down and taking in how the kids looked, they all looked a little worse for ware and Tommy was being a bit too quiet for a baby he assumed was only a few months old. He was worried for these kids, but right now, he was setting them up to stay here so he could protect them. 

Chapter Text

It had been a few days since Phil had brought the kids in, Techno and Wilbur were sharing a room, Tubbo and Ranboo slept together wherever they pleased, which was normally on the couch, and Phil shared a room with Tommy so that he could watch the baby, he was now downstairs setting up a bottle of formula for the baby with a tired look on his face, he was smiling though, but also absolutely exhausted. He picked up the bottle from the stove and started talking to Tommy 

“Hi ya, mate” he said looking at the tiny face of Tommy “Gotta eat up, you are being far too quiet for any normal baby” he said and bumped the bottle against the baby's mouth and he immediately opened his mouth and started drinking “Ah my theory was correct, you are just a hungry, hungry goblin child” he teased as Tommy ate happily. He heard tiny footsteps as Techno and Wilbur entered the room. 

“Is he ok?” Wilbur asked as Techno walked up and did grabby hands, silently asking to hold Tommy, Phil shook his head whispered softly “Not yet mate, he’s still eating, I’ll give him to you in a minute” he said, before the bottle was finished and looked up to Wilbur “He’s fine, he’s just malnourished and probably hasn’t been taken care of properly from what I’ve seen, so I’ll probably be looking after him until he starts making noise, unless he’s always been this quite and small and I have nothing to worry.” he states looking at the two boys questioningly, Wilbur looked almost guilty and Techno has a sympathetic look on his face as he looked at Wilbur. 

“He wasn’t always this quiet, actually quite the crier and loud mouth, but Mum started to ignoring him when he started getting to much and me and Techno tried to help, but we knew next to nothing about raising kids because me and Tech are twins so we were raised together, and for about the last month or so he’s been too quiet, and almost always asleep.” he said sadly, “Tubbo said you’d been around for a long time so we all thought you’d help us take care if Tommy.” Wil said looking at Tommy again, “I’ll take care of him, but until he’s in better health and actually having enough energy to open his eyes consistently, then I’ll let you guys help, ok?” Phil asked, a worried look in his eyes as he looked at the two kids who nodded a little bit. 

Phil then handed Tommy over to Techno who quickly took him, both of the boys then went off, Phil knew that they we’re going to read to Tommy before coming back to check to see if it was time for Tommy to eat again. He then heard more movement as Tubbo stumbled in half-awake followed by a worried Ranboo behind him, catching him whenever he nearly fell, Ranboo looked up at him in worry before looking back Tubbo then back at him before asking “Is there anything you have that we could have for breakfast, Mister?” Ranboo was currently supporting a half-asleep Tubbo, “How about I get you and Tubbo a glass of orange juice each and Tubbo can wake up while I make breakfast.” So there they were, Phil working on some eggs, toast and bacon while Tubbo face planted on the table passed out again, Ranboo sitting there with a straw drinking his orange juice, while in the back Wilbur started to sing a story to Techno and Tommy, causing Tommy to peak his open a little bit and giggle, Wilbur was taken aback and started laughing, soon all three of them were laughing, Wilbur falling to the floor in giggles. Today was going to be a good day. 

Chapter Text

Phil was currently preparing lunch for the kids. Tommy was still currently with Techno and Wilbur, Ranboo and Tubbo decided to head back to bed after grabbing some breakfast because of Tubbo’s consistent fainting. 

Phil was cutting up some peppers and onions to make some soup for the kids, but decided to set aside some chicken and green beans for Ranboo so he didn’t have to worry about accidentally burning himself too much, and of course formula for Tommy, but that could be taken care of later.  

Phil started to simmer the water a bit pouring in some chicken stock when Tubbo walked in and bumped into his side “Morin” he mumbled into Phil’s hip and Phil looked down foundly “Hiya mate, it's nearly noon,” he said before checking the water and putting the vegetables and meat. 

“It’s still early” Tubbo mumbled into his hip and Phil laughed at that, “How about you and Ranboo go join the other boys in the living room, they’re reading some stories to Tommy.” and with that Tubbo nodded and walked off into the living room, probably gonna bother Ranboo for something as well.

It was currently lunch, Phil had finished eating and was now feeding Tommy as the other boys kept eating, Wilbur had scarfed down his first serving of soup almost instantly and asked if he could have more, Techno had to take ten minutes to put everyone's hair up so it wouldn’t get in their soup before eating himself, Tubbo was tried to eat the soup with only his face before realizing that maybe he could use a spoon and ate it that way, and Ranboo was quietly eating his chicken and green beans happily and helping Tubbo clean himself up a bit after shoving his face into the bowl. 

Tommy was slowly becoming more and more active, he was now whining loudly every time the bottle was taken away, but he would promptly calm down afterwards before going to sleep after the bottle had been finished. 

Overall this first lunch went very well and everyone seemed to enjoy Phil’s cooking, Techno and Wilbur actually asking to be taught, but Phil denied and said “Once everyone has settled in a little bit more I’ll let you guys help, ok?” and to that they both nodded vigorously, well Wilbur did, Techno just hummed before popping up and walking over to Phil who handed over the twins and Tommy went off to do what they were doing before eating.

Ranboo was just staring at his plate and Phil was looking at him questiongly, “Hey, mate?” Phil asked and Ranboo jumped a bit and stared at Phil “Uhhhhh, hi” Ranboo replied looking at Phil sheepishly “How old are you mate?” he asked calmly, Ranboo blinked at him and shrugged, 

“I’m pretty sure I’m 6, Tubbo is older then me, but his birthday is towards the end of the year so, yeah” he said fidgeted with his shirt “I said to much didn’t I” he muttered ears pointing down “No no mate it's alright, you can talk as much as you want alright.” Phil said with a small smile as Ranboo looked up and smiled a bit back, Rambo then looked to his side and saw Tubbo passed out at the table, face down having no issues with how he was laying.

“How about we take him upstairs and both of you can rest in my bed till dinner, last night must’ve been exhausting” Phil said, holding his hand out to Ranboo after picking up Tubbo and holding him around his wasit, “ Yeah I’d like that, also I bet your bedroom has a lot of cool stuff in it” Ranboo said happily, and Phill nodded, Ranboo ran ahead up the stairs as Phil dropped his hand to his side, eventually he’ll have these kids trust, but for now, baby steps.
