Chapter 1: 16th December 2018 - Catherine of Aragon & Anne Boleyn

Chapter Text

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:24
Hi. Can we talk?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:30
Considering you stole my phone

[Anne Boleyn] 22:30
Immediately put your number in

[Anne Boleyn] 22:30
Took mine without my consent

[Anne Boleyn] 22:31
I couldn't imagine for what other reason you would do that for

[Anne Boleyn] 22:31
Unless it was to stalk me and find out where I live to strangle me in my sleep

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:33
Seriously? I am trying to have a civil conversation with you.

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:33
And I didn't steal your phone. I asked for it.

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:33
You gave it to me. Willingly.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:34
For what reason, if I may ask?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:34
Note that I have every reason to block your number

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:34
So do I! Anne Boleyn, don't you realize that you owe me this?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:35
I don't owe you anything

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:39
You stole my husband. I have every right to be mad at you.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:41
Yet you are not? I suppose I am lucky

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:42
Just talk to me, Anne Boleyn!

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:42
Look, why are you so against this?

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:43
Don't you realize something really weird has been going on since we appeared in this century, and I can't say anything without people thinking I've gone crazy?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:43
You too huh

[Anne Boleyn] 22:44
At least you got it better

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:44
What are you talking about?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:44
Do you really need me to spell it out for you?

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:45
That would certainly be helpful.

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:45
Would explain your state of irrationality.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:45
You lubberwort

[Anne Boleyn] 22:46
I was in a coma for years. You found me, recognized who I was when I woke up, but never said anything

[Anne Boleyn] 22:46
You chose to leave. I know we haven't been close before, but now? Why now?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:46
We got reincarnated hundreds of years into the future, found each other, but you just HAD to wait another 10 years to reach out

[Anne Boleyn] 22:47
Do you have any idea how lost I was for the past 12 years?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:47
I thought I was alone, Catherine.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:47
I thought I was being punished

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:50
...Do you want to call?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:51
No. As much as I hate you right now, I know I'll regret screaming into the phone later

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:51
How much do you remember?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:52
Not a lot. I know how I died, and why

[Anne Boleyn] 22:52
I know my name

[Anne Boleyn] 22:52
I get flashbacks to my past life sometimes

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:53
What happened before the coma thing?

[Anne Boleyn] 22:54
I don't know. I was found that way.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:54
Waking up in that hospital was the first I saw everything

[Anne Boleyn] 22:55
Wasn't conscious for it. Turns out I was sleeping for at least a year, maybe more

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:55
Wow... I'm sorry.

[Anne Boleyn] 22:55
...

[Catherine of Aragon] 22:57
Anne?

[Anne Boleyn] 23:12
Look, I'm really tired.

[Anne Boleyn] 23:13
We can meet up tomorrow and... talk, whatever

[Anne Boleyn] 23:13
I'm sorry I got angry. You have every right to despise my existence

[Catherine of Aragon] 23:13
I don't despise you.

[Catherine of Aragon] 23:14
In all honesty, I'm glad you're here.

[Catherine of Aragon] 23:14
I apologize for taking so long.

[Anne Boleyn] 23:16
You're here now

[Anne Boleyn] 23:16
I have my own share of amends to make too, Catherine

[Anne Boleyn] 23:17
If you would allow that

[Catherine of Aragon] 23:18
I promise to listen.

[Anne Boleyn] 23:18
Me too

[Anne Boleyn] 23:59
Happy Birthday, Catherine
