Summary
Brock Rumlow had no idea that the weird looking, glowing pool was a portal to another world. Really, he didn't. All he wanted to do was look around and see what was up with the light show. What he didn't expect was to be sucked through some kind of wormhole and wind up on another planet.
Maji isn't earth. Maji is a world where magic is real and there happens to be some kind of evil witch who wants to destroy everything to have all the power for herself. Brock is perfectly fine with letting her be - all he wants to do is figure out how to open the portal back up and go home. He doesn't want to get involved in some kind of magical war, especially one that he doesn't have a hope of understanding.
Then he meets Josef, the leader of the vodyanoy and the one thing standing between Maji and total disaster. All of a sudden, Brock has a cause worth fighting for and a world that needs him.
