Din glanced over his coffee cup, trying to ignore Cara’s smirk as she sat next to him. He was attempting to get a good look at the blond in the corner of the coffee shop that they often frequented, and Cara’s knowing looks were not helping.
She leaned back, rolling her eyes with a good-natured shake of her head. “This is the fifth time that we have been here the same time as him. Are you going to finally ask him out?”
Din shot her a dirty look. “I’ve been telling you, I doubt he would want a date with a single father.”
Cara raised an eyebrow. “You sure? Some people really go for that.” She took a sip from her pink drink, humming at the taste.
She knew for a * fact* that the blond wouldn’t hesitate to say yes to a date with Din, the single father.
Leia had confirmed as much over the phone last night.
What Djarin didn’t know would make for a more interesting time for herself. Her smirk was wide as she put her empty cup back down on the table.
