Work Text:
Fuyumi yawns as she walks out to the kitchen, rubbing her eyes under her glasses. She grabs the newspaper on the counter and slowly opens her eyes more. Under the bright lights of the kitchen, she sees her little brother with a piece of bread and a mug.
“Morning Shoto,” Fuyumi whispers and hums softly, walking to the toaster and stops.
What was that smell?
“Shoto.”
“Yeah?”
“What are you drinking?”
Fuyumi looks at Shoto, who made her now glare at him as he stared in his mug. How was he not to know? Everything was right in front of her eyes, hell, next to her kid brother.
“Coffee.”
“Dad hates caffeine,” Fuyumi tells Shoto, walking over and pours herself some coffee and walks to the fridge.
Shoto looks at the cereal box in front of him and hums, not caring for the heavy footsteps coming their way in the kitchen. He looks over at Fuyumi and shrugs, slowly sipping his coffee.
"Well he hated children too, but he had plenty of us," Shoto shrugs and makes eye contact with his father, sipping his coffee and pours himself more.
Natsuo groans as he rubs his eyes, needing a break from learning etymology of organs. He leans back in his chair and closes his eyes, only opening them as he hears his door slam open. The sound of it made his head hurt even more. He sometimes regrets choosing medical school instead of social services, but he's always had a thing for helping people. When you live in the family he did, it happens.
"What?" Dabi glares at Natsuo, a hand over some bleeding wound on his stomach.
So not in the mood for this.
"You look like shit," Natsuo comments, looking at his elder brother and goes back to reading his lecture notes.
"Oh, why thank you," Dabi responds sarcastically, laying face first on his cot, "Aren't you a doctor?"
"Not yet, only studying," Natsuo comments and shrugs, typing on his laptop, "You might want to get that checked out."
"Yes, let me go to the hospital because I am a normal civilian."
"Exactly."
"You're a horrible brother."
"Says the one who wanted to kill our little brother."
"Touche."
"I should kill you."
"Try it and I'll throw you back in jail."
"Why? You want to die."
"Well you should have done so when I was a baby. You failed, you crispy steak."
"Don't fucking try it, you failed abortion."
"Look who's talking, you failed creation!"
"I just wanted a normal family game night," Fuyumi says as she sets down a card as Shoto and Toya glare at each other, "Uno."
Toya hums softly as he walks towards the hair dye aisle, looking for the black hair dye. He's glad Fuyumi agreed to dye his hair, he just had to buy it with stolen money he had. He whistles and looks over at Shoto as he was looking at hair dye color as well.
"You should do pink," Toya tells Shoto, grabbing the brand he wanted and goes towards his brother.
"Okay."
"What the hell?" Enji raises an eyebrow as he sees his two sons with dyed hair.
"What?" Shoto looks at him, his hair a pastel pink while Toya was black, "Got a problem?"
"Have you seen my credit card?" Enji asks, ignoring the question.
"No," Both boys respond, slurping their noodles and tried not to sweat.
Two days later, they lower their head in shame as Fuyumi scolded them for using Enji's credit card to splurge on Amazon. Enji was just frozen in shock as he saw the 60 plus packages in his front door.
