   Summary

   She reaches for her burning throat and massages it, coughing a little to try and get rid of the discomfort. She looks up and makes eye contact with the Doctor, and he looks almost as freaked out as she feels.
   Cold and pale skin, glowing red eyes, teeth sharp enough to tear out a throat, a glass of blood on hand.
   Hadn’t she been asked if she wanted to live forever? Hadn’t she had that passing thought about Anne Rice novels?
   "Oh my god, Doctor,” she says, voice faltering. “I’m a vampire, aren’t I?”
   She waits for it, waits for the laugh, the sudden jolt awake, the ‘Don’t be silly, Rose, vampires aren’t real’, but it never comes.
   All he does is slowly nod his head, and her world promptly falls to pieces.
