Summary
It’s a quiet, gentle thing that’s growing between the two boy Gods, a thing of bridges and brittle edges, a thing of unexplored meanings and unsaid words. Jimin has watched the shadowed, secret beginnings of feelings pile up, watched silent syllables scatter between the beach and the forest, fragile underfoot. An ache lines his stomach when he looks at the two young Gods, trapped in their loneliness by duty and paralysed tongues.

Taehyung, God of Oceans, is in love with Jeongguk, God of the Forest. Jeongguk, who millennia ago brought light and life into a world of darkness by bracing his shoulders against Namjoon, God of the Sky, and separated him from his love, Hyeseok, the Earth Mother. Jeongguk, who is condemned to forever hold up the sky and keep light and life in this world, prevent it from imploding.
