The Butler looked at the two kids struggling in his telekinetic hold. This was a strange sight.
For context, Mono had come through a TV with this girl with a yellow raincoat on after running into her in the Pale City. He didn't know where they were going, but anywhere was better than the City and the Thin Man chasing them over and over.
The duo had landed here, in a strange room full of chairs and a throne in the middle with dolls in all of the smaller chairs. The Butler was calmly cleaning and tidying the room when they had come through the TV. And now here he was, holding the two tightly in his hold as they struggled. But one of them caught his eye.
It was the boy with the paper bag hat. He had one a long and dirty trench coat and even dirtier clothes underneath them. But when he took off the bag, which the child had screamed at, he saw a wonderful and young and beautiful face. Granted it was also very dirty but it wasn't anything a bath couldn't fix. His mistress would love him as a new toy. He looked over at the girl also struggling and furrowed his already wrinkly eyebrows. He didn't like her. The Butler slammed her into a wall behind them and floated out with Mono in his hold, screeching and crying in his tight grasp and The Girl laid limp.

The Pretender was in her room clutching a doll impatiently. Where was her butler?! He was supposed to be here already for her evening bath! He was going to get an earful when he got back! The door opened right at that moment and she got up from the bed to yell at him for being an idiot, but she stopped once she saw the boy in his hold. He was so pretty! Like a knight in shining armor. Her knight in shining armor! Now she knew why The Butler took so long. He was getting her a gift! And she deserved it rightfully so. She could pardon him for his tardiness this one time she supposed. This was an amazing gift!
She looked over his beauty and scoffed at how dirty he was. Disgusting! If he was going to be her knight he had to be extremely more clean than this! She noticed a paper bag in The Butler's hold, and demanded it be torn in half. The amount of germs it must've had was probably insane. But before The Butler could she heard her knight screaming for him not to, that he loved the bag. The Pretender stopped her servant. If her knight loved the bag so much she might as well let him have it, but she wouldn't let him have anything else. Those clothes had to go.
The Pretender watched The Butler dunk Mono into the bathtub and screeched at the balding floating man to be more gentle with her knight. The Butler groaned and nodded, he was to always obey his mistress. Mono coughed and sputtered as he was cleaned thoroughly and then dried off. He laid there naked on the carpeted floor uncomfortably until he was dried off just as rough with a towel by The Butler. The Pretender watched him carefully as he was dried and then put into a nightgown somehow fit just for him. Mono pointed to his paper bag hat and The Butler rolled his eyes before giving the bag to the boy. Mono held it happily and he was about to put it on his head but The Pretender snatched him by his gown collar and dragged him with surprising strength to the bed. She threw him on top of the bed and giggled at his dazed expression. How cute! But she needed her bath next and she refused to go to bed dirty. She looked at the bag in Mono's hands and made a face of slight disgust. She loved her knight but she wouldn't allow such a filthy thing in her bed. She ripped it from his hands and placed it on the nightstand before he could say anything, and went to the bathroom for her bath. Mono watched her leave and then looked at his bag. Well, at least it wasn't destroyed.
The Pretender came back in a much more poofier nightgown than Mono's and was being carried by The Butler. He placed The Pretender in bed right next to Mono, and the girl snuggled up to Mono, smiling happily as her grey hair draped all over his face. The Butler left the room and slammed the door behind him, leaving Mono and the girl to sleep together in there.
Mono sighed. It could be worse after all.
