   Summary

   This is a story requested by a mutual on Tumblr! Not long after the events of the Abomination Vault, Strife was assigned on a mission by the Charred Council to travel to one of Hell's most desolated places in search for a powerful source of demon magic. It did not take long before he started to dread it, since his brother Death was also assigned to come with him. Their bond has strained quite a bit after the eldest left for five hundred years, and Strife has never felt more disdain towards the Pale Rider than he does now.
