"And that's all from the meeting. Shiro?"
Keith tilted his head to the side, watching Allura step back to let Shiro forward.
"Yeah, good job today guys. I know the meeting was long, but you guys were champs." Shiro gave them all a thumbs up before turning back to Allura and Coran.
No shit the meeting was long, Keith thought. He looked down at the boy laying partially on top of him, face buried in the crook of his neck, eyes closed and breathing slow. They were in the middle of the half-hexagonal couch of the common room, Pidge and Hunk to the left of them, analysing the data they had received from the meeting on Torfa. He had one arm slung around Lance’s shoulders, his other hand buried in his short brown hair. Lance’s arms were wrapped tightly around Keith’s waist, and he would occasionally nuzzle into Keith’s neck to get him to run his hand through his hair again.
It was times like this that Keith valued the most. Even with their teammates around them, it was easy to seek and find comfort when they felt so at home, so far away from home.
He was drawn from his musings by Lance’s tell-tale sleepy snuffle that he felt against his throat.
“You’re comfortable,” Lance murmured. He tightened his arms around Keith’s waist.
“Oh, am I your pillow now?” He planted his chin on Lance’s head and traced circles on his shoulder with his free hand. This drew a hum out of Lance as he pondered the question.
“Yeah,” he replied, breathy and low. “Now shut up. Do your job and let me sleep.”
Keith chuckled and closed his eyes. "Lazy bones."

“You have dust in your hair,” Lance said, reaching out a hand to ruffle the smaller boy’s mane.
Keith slapped the hand away and sent him a look of dismay. Lance laughed quietly as he ran after him, following him down the hall to Lance’s bedroom. He had realised a long time ago that a tired Keith was a grumpy Keith.
Once they reached Lance’s room, Keith was swaying slightly, and his gaze was fixed on one spot by the bed. He blinked rapidly at Lance once he came in behind him, and Lance knew he had reached the point that he was too exhausted to even be grumpy with him.
Lance stripped off his t-shirt and jeans in favour of a long-sleeve and baggy pyjama bottoms. Growing up in Cuba, the chill of space had been somewhat of a culture shock, and the nights were still especially bad. Keith, however, was a human furnace, and Lance liked to joke that he had absorbed the heat of the desert while he’d lived in it.
He threw his discarded shirt at Keith who caught it, slipped it over his head and went over to the edge of the bed. Lance followed, getting in first and opening his arms for Keith to fall into. He did so willingly, settling himself in Lance’s embrace and exhaling deeply.
Lance took this opportunity to finally ruffle Keith’s hair. This evoked a small huff from the other boy, who tried to open his eyes, but they remained half-lidded. Lance smiled lopsidedly at him.
Keith yawned and turned over, tugging Lance’s arm with him and twining their fingers over his stomach.
Lance pulled their bodies closer together, seeking Keith’s inextinguishable heat. He huffed against his neck and whispered in his ear, “Who’s the lazy bones now?”
