“Wilbur?” Techno called. The hallway was empty, but he was sure Wil hadn’t gone out…
He pushed open a closet door, frowning. “Wil!”
He headed upstairs cautiously, hand on the polished banister. “Wil- AH! Shit!” he yelped, suddenly soaking wet. Wilbur’s giggles from above quickly faded, the 15 year old dashing away to hide. “I’ll get you for that!” Techno squealed, hefting his water balloon in one hand and his bucket in the other.
Footsteps behind him on the stairs made him move just in time, the water cascading down the steps as Tommy groaned, starting to run the other way. Techno grinned, pegging his square in the back of the head with the water balloon. “Damn!” Tommy yelped.
“Gotcha!” Tubbo pulled his brother around the corner, Techno’s surprised face receiving a bucketful of water as the youngest Minecraft brother laughed in triumph.
Techno spluttered, emptying his half- full bucket over Tubbo’s horns. The boy yelped, scurrying away.
“Come on, Techno! Catch us already!” Tommy yelled from the top of the stairs.
Techno whirled, the bottom of the stairs causing his hooves to slip a little bit before he regained his balance.
Wilbur crept up behind Tommy, grinning from soaked ear to soaked ear as he smashed the biggest water balloon over his head. He screeched, falling. Wilbur attempted to catch him, but slipped, instead making them tumble down the stairs and knock into Tubbo, who was trying (yet again) to sneak up on Techno from above.
They all landed in one huge heap, Techno taking the brunt of the fall on his wide shoulders. He groaned, the weight of all three of his brothers on top of him. Tommy scurried off, laughing.
“Your face!” he puffed out, his face red from laughter. Techno scowled, yanking Tommy’s ankle towards him. Tommy fell flat on his back, the air escaping his lungs. “Ow.” He groaned. “Your face.” Techno said smugly. Tommy laughed. “Whatever.”
Wilbur slumped, head on Techno’s shoulder. “Truce?” he asked hopefully, pushing his round glasses up on his nose. Techno snorted, patting his brother’s head. “Sure.”
Waterballoons came out of nowhere, raining down in absolute chaos as all four boys scrambled for cover. “Phil!” Tubbo screeched, the avian landing in the middle of the floor and scowling. “No mercy!” Their father yelled triumphantly, his hands whipping water balloons at them at rapid- fire speed. The crows participated, squawking as they were pelted in return. One landed on Techno’s shoulder, screeching in his ear. “Get off, damn traitors.” He huffed. The bird screeched in his ear before flying off and dropping a water balloon on Tubbo’s head.
Wilbur came up behind Techno, dragging him back to a small alcove where the other two boys joined them shortly. “What are we gonna do, boys?” Tommy rubbed his hands together in anticipation. “Nuke him.” Tubbo said solemnly. Frowned faces turned towards him, and he shrugged. “Go big or go home.”
“Cannons!”
“An Explosion!”
“Maybe just getting rid of his crows would do it.” Techno mused, rubbing his chin. Wilbur nodded in agreement. “Nets?” he asked, pointing to Tommy. Tommy nodded. “I have 'em.”
“Tubbo, Wil, balloons. Tommy and I will get rid of the crows quietly.” techno ordered.
They split up, each going a different way to avoid Phil, who was stalking around the house, calling their names. “This is creepy.” Tommy whisper- giggled. Techno smiled. “Yeah. It is- move. Go go go go- ”
They slunk along the hallways, silent as mice.
“Here. net.” Tommy whispered proudly, opening the door to a closet and grabbing the big thing. Techno nodded, taking an armful of it. “Roof.”
They got up there, meeting Will and Tubbo halfway.
Techno stared at the five full buckets of water balloons for a minute before frowning at the roof. “Come on.” he whispered, sneaking along the railway.
A water balloon whizzed by his head.
“RUN FOR IT!” he called back gleefully, running full- speed down the upper hallway. The boys followed suit, whooping and hollering as they were hit from all angles.
“I dropped a bucket!” Wil called, laughing. Tommy shrugged, hiding behind a post. He shrieked, a water balloon hitting the post. Phil laughed maniacally, his crows gently grabbing the spilled balloons and handing them off to Phil, who tossed them at the boys with no mercy.
“Come on, boys! I’m not even wet!” Phil boasted, flinging a green water balloon at Techno’s head.
Wil snuck around, whispering in Techno’s ear. He nodded, taking the buckets from Wil and giving them to Tommy. “Pop all the balloons in the bucket.” he whispered. “Tell Tubbo to do the same.” Tommy frowned, beginning to question, but one look from Techno had him hurriedly running to where Tubbo was hidden.
Wil snuck up the hall, grabbing a bucket of popped- balloon water from Techno.
Phil was right under him- he nodded.
Techno tossed the net. The birds were trapped-
“NOW!!”
Tubbo and Tommy raced down the stairs, giggling as they spilled the water on a surprised Phil and crows. Will poured his two buckets out onto his father’s head. Phil spluttered, his wings awkwardly caught in the net.
“We winnnnn!!!!!!!!!” Tommy screeched, throwing his hands up in the air. Phil huffed, wriggling his way out of the net and shaking a wing out over Tommy’s head. He spluttered, screeching as he ran to hide behind Techno.
“Give it up, Phil, we win!” Wil called from the balcony.
Phil rolled his eyes. “Fine, fine. I give up!” he laughed. Tubbo grinned, running into Phil’s stomach. “Ba! We win!” He giggled. Phil scooped him up, tossing him into the air.
“You win.”
