Everything is going to be okay..
A black-haired boy wept into his hands, stifling the tears as he struggled to breathe.
No matter what happens..
Promise me that we’ll always be there for each other..
Now, a blond comforted him, pulling him into his arms and patting him on the back softly.
Promise me..
The screen blacked out.
Welcome to White Space.
A monochrome boy laid on the ground, unblinkingly staring at the ceiling. The room he was in was devoid of all colour- only shades of white, grey and black were present.
You have been living here for as long as you can remember.
Then, everything went white.
“CUT!” A young woman stood to the side of the set with her hands on her hips, looking down at her clipboard.
“That’s good for the beginning scene, I think.. We shouldn’t need any more retakes.”
The monochrome boy nodded from his spot on the floor, groaning as he got up. “That’s painful, holy shit. Is there a way for us to get a softer floor for this scene, or am I stuck suffering?”
“You complain so much, ‘Mori,” another black haired boy chimes in from behind the set, crossing over and helping his twin up from the floor. “At least you don’t have to murder Mari!”
“I do have to fight you, though, so there’s that,” he shrugs. “Not the best trade-off.”
“Hey, you guys don’t get to complain! You don’t have to play two roles at once,” a pink haired girl rolls her eyes from where she’s painting a blond boy’s fingernails.
“Aubrey, cut them some slack,” A purple haired girl comes on scene, waving hello to her brothers and Basil. “Sunny and Omori have to fight each other, remember?”
Omori rolls his eyes, “It’s less fighting and more me wiping the floor with Sunny-”
“Until you get defeated by a violin?” Sunny gives his brother a shit eating grin just as Omori reached over and lightly slapped his arm, much to everyone else’s amusement.
“When will Kel and Hero arrive?” Basil asked, blowing lightly on his nails.
“Uhh, I think they texted the group chat that they’d be late by a few hours?” Aubrey said, her tone slightly questioning. “Mari, Sunny, do you guys have an idea?”
“Kel confirmed that they’d be arriving around 2pm.” Sunny said, playing around with his brother’s hair. “So we can’t really do any other shots unless it’s with ‘Mori or me, basically.”
“I think we can do Blackspace scenes though,” Omori muttered absentmindedly.
Mari gave a light chuckle, “Well, I’m sure that’ll be fun. Ish.”
Aubrey snorted. “Oh, yeah, I’m sure that’ll be a wonderful time. Right, Basil?”
“I don’t think so- I’m not looking too forward to the Blackspace rooms..” Basil shuddered lightly. “No offense or anything, Aubrey, but getting hit in the head with a bat is not on my bucket list.”
“Thank god everything else is basically CGI..”
A chorus of agreement flowed through the studio, until the director came back in. “Okay, Omori, you’re up!”
