He wonders if he could’ve done something different. Maybe Lumine wanted to stay longer this time? Was it the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles? Manipulating her against him? Why did she not want to come home?
Maybe it was him? Perhaps he was being insensitive. Maybe she just… Didn’t see him as her brother anymore?
But then what was the purpose of living? He had to survive for the people; to help them like he helped countless others, but living?
