Summary
Kenma's stuck in a toxic and ab*sive relationship with Daishou, and despite the rough and unfair treatment he receives, he's still in love with him.
Kuroo, who has been in love with Kenma for years, notices changes in his best friend's behavior, and strange marks on his body, eventually putting two and two together. While teaming up with Hinata and Kageyama, the three try to save Kenma from Daishou, and Kuroo eventually gets rewarded in a way he never thought he'd be.
----“You’d tell me if anything was happening, right?” Kuroo asked him, the tone of his voice seeming to pry the truth away from Kenma just by existing.
Despite that, Kenma lied.
“Yes.”
“Good. Good night, Kenma.”
“ ‘Night, Kuroo.”
He walked away, eyes welling with tears, and quietly shut the door to his room before locking it, his back pressing against it.
He had just lied to Kuroo twice.
He had grown used to it, though.
Kenma lifted his wrists, nimble fingers pulling his sleeves down to examine the dark bruises that littered the pale skin of his forearm. Tears ran down his now pale cheeks. How hard was this going to be?
