Summary
The only way love would ever be worth the effort and risk is if the love was returned. Unrequited love was useless.
Giorno Giovanna wanted to live by that notion, but it was hard when he seemed to fall for people so easily. He found so much beauty in people ever since he learned what it was to trust in others. On the good days, he could just sit around and watch people for hours and fall in love with their movements and their laughter, the way they carried themselves, the way their voices hummed out into the world, full of life.
It was easy to fall in love but it was impossible to be loved it would seem. When he falls in love with Guido Mista, this seems especially true. Plagued by his past of abuse and his fear of opening up, Giorno isn't sure how what to do.
