Summary
Random collection of Groot centric one shots.
Chapter 2 - The plan was solid. They were ready for Rocket’s meltdown. Which was why Groot’s meltdown took them completely by surprise.
Chapter 3 - Groot had existed before the lab. Groot had a name. An identity. But everything that 89P13 was had been born in the nightmare of Halfworld.
Chapter 4 - “You’re awake.” He says. “Missed you, Pal.”
Chapter 5 - “How’d this happen?” Yondu says, turning back to his first mate. “That dumb tree pregnant or something?”
Chapter 6 - Rocket sighs, a sigh that Groot has come to identify as his ‘what the hell am I thinking’ sigh, and climbs onto Groot’s knee.
Chapter 7 - Rocket is smart enough to make the logical deduction that if a sheet of ice is strong enough to withstand the weight of one Drax the Destroyer then it should also be strong enough to withstand the weight of a tiny little rodent man. He is also smart enough to be surprised when, suddenly, this proves not to be the case.
Chapter 8 - Kraglin points at the parchments. “Enjoy them.”
