Upon Mobius’ return, Loki spun around. There was a strange expression on the God of Mischief’s face, one of… hope, perhaps?
“Everything alright, Loki?”
“Does the TVA allow phone calls?”

The Avengers were having lunch when Thor’s cell phone began to vibrate. Tony looked up expectedly as the sound continued; Thor, meanwhile, began to chew faster.
“Aren’t you going to get that, Point Break?” The God of Thunder, after a brief moment of confusion, shook his head.
“I am having lunch with Midgard’s mightiest creatures. It can wait.” As if on cue, the vibrating ceased.
After lunch, the Avengers split up. Walking to a nearby park bench, Thor sat down and looked at his phone. There was a voicemail from a strange number.
(000) 555-1130
Against his better judgement, he pressed play.
For a few seconds, there was nothing but static. Then a voice came in, garbled but instantly recognizable to Thor.
“Thor… It’s me. It’s Loki.”
Half of him wanted to stand up and grab Tony. The other half of him, the brotherly half, remained seated with the phone glued to his ear.
“I don’t know if you’ll get this… Mobius says no one has tried this before… The…” A loud burst of static cut off the rest of the sentence. “Anyway, I need you to listen.
“I just wanted to say… Brother, I’m sorry. I’ve begun to see the error of my ways. I can’t tell you how, but I promise you, I’m not in any danger… At least…” Another burst of static. “I can’t come home, Thor, so… Stay safe, you big galute.” The message ended with a final burst of garbled static, but Thor was certain he could make out three brotherly words.
