Quirk: Devils Breath - fiF&Fif [Arc 3]

Summary:

Shinsou Mukuro | Quirk: Devils Breath

Once you're hit by his trident, he can possess your body and command you to do anything. The person under the influence of the quirk can break a bone, slam into a wall and even destroy a whole room but the influence won't break. It's one person at a time but anyone that's been hit with it before can be used regardless of how much time has passed. Scary!

Work Text:

Mukuro is glad is doesn't hurt.

He recalls the first time he came back from death.

It happened many times immediately afterwards as he was experimented on, them bringing him back over and over.

His karma was clearly unbalanced and this rebirth shouldn't be so pleasant but he supposes the gods don't actually care what humans do.

It's embarrassing being a baby again and it seems he has a sibling that seems to prefer touching him rather than cooing at him.

It's annoying and he spits in his brother's hands to get him to back off.

He has a terrible reputation everywhere he's taken.

Mukuro doesn't have anything to do and, for once, he takes it easy.

There is no one to protect or kill and he is adequately cared for so he sees no harm in continuing on as he is.

School is unnecessary but it's entertaining to make children tremble without effort as they are so uniquely arrogant due to the curious phenomena as quirks.

Their brains aren't settled and their thoughts are stupid.

It's especially obvious when a larger child comes up to him to explain Hitoshi is a villain because of his quirk.

As if they'd know anything about true villains.

Mukuro hits him because anything more than that may be permanent.

He hits him hard enough to make sure the child understands his threat isn't hollow, "Your brother is next if he doesn't shut up."

His teacher scolds him but understands and explains it so his mother isn't threatening a week long punishment.

His brother is too foolish for Mukuro to believe he could ever be a villain.

Mukuro does not hide his quirk because he has other things to hide.

It's easier to hide a white cube behind a red ball so he lets everyone see snippets of his quirk as he mimics other children around him as they develop.

They think quirks are the only thing to make a man.

It's a testament of time, how foolishness evolves rather than is overcome.

Mukuro doesn't care for the happenings of the world and he definitely isn't the one to save it from itself.

Curious about it, Mukuro decides to see what this world has to offer.

Sawada Tsunayoshi won't be there to be in his way so he might be able to have more fun than before.

When Mukuro dreams, he has choices.

It's only something that happens when he's connected with people and none of the people he's possessed are alive anymore so it is people who have crossed his consciousness.

He recognises the garden and Nagi greets him as she always had.

With this, he knows who is on the other path.

Annoying that this man is here again.

Mukuro's aura are not flames but they work in a way that can trick flames into making connections.

His aura is working as illusionary flames because something is wrong and he cannot summon his flames as he should be able to.

Using this method, he is aware that Tsunyoshi is somewhere in this world and he had been making connections.

Nagi is not a part of this set and Mukuro is left feeling annoyed.

This man had a connection.

Mukuro had come along with the intent of messing with his older brother but had found something infinitely more interesting.

He makes his excuses when he lets himself get caught before asking what he really wants to know.

"Do you know Sawada Tsunayoshi?"

The man is subtle in his reactions but Mukuro knows what to look for.

His reply is a truth in the form of a lie and Mukuro is satisfied.

Illusions of his caliber clearly aren't common since the people around him fall so easily to it.

He gets the information he needs and more.

It's quite ridiculous that no on is on guard.

There's not much for him to do, though, as things seem to be moving on their own.

Rather than meddle, he has things he wants to do.

He calls.

"Nagi."

She's happy to see him and he can't say he didn't feel anything at the sight of her.

"Mukuro-sama."

She doesn't seemed phased at his age and holds him in her arms easily.

It's something he'll settle into as she takes him back into her home.

There's things to discuss.
