Chapter Text
Tommy sat on the edge of his bed as he pulled on his boots. They were big black boots Phil had given him at some point, he can't remember when. They were a waste of space at first, but now... he was pretty glad to have them. He also put on his mask, hoodie, and black biker gloves.
It was around 11 o'clock usually highschool students went to bed at that time, but not Tommyinnit, the awesome glock wielding vigilante. Bedtime was for losers, and sleep is for the weak, as he always liked to say. Phil would disagree, but Phil wasn't here right now. In fact, he was supposed to be on patrol, interesting right?
A vigilante who's whole family were heroes, pretty cool if he did say so himself.
A cold burst of wind met Tommy as he opened the window and jumped out. Sneaking out of the house was the first part of his night usually. The fun only came after, beating up criminals and stopping robbers, and the adrenaline rush from being in a dangerous situation. It was just all part of the experience, the Illegality of it adding the cherry on the cake.
The sound of footsteps bring Tommy's train of thought to a stop, and his feet along with it. Peeking around the corner of the alleyway, two figures peek out in the darkness.
"Heey, you got the goods?" one of them holds out his hand, it's pale against the dark black of his hoodie. Blue and red glasses peek out from the hood pulled over his head, and Tommy can almost see his face. If it wasn't for how dark it was, this whole thing would be a lot easier to make out, but life isn't fair that way.
"Yeah man, you got the cash?"
What stuck out the most about the other man was his bright green hoodie. It had the Mexican flag on the front of it, in a circle shape with a smiley face? Interesting design choice. Not something Tommy would wear, he didn't like smiley faces, but he can respect their fashion choice.
Sighing, Tommy stood up and with the deepest voice possible said,
"What's going one here?!" It wasn't Corpse husband deep but it worked.
"What- who's there?" the stranger in the black hoodie was glancing around, panic showing on his face. "Show yourself!"
"Woah calm down, man." He stepped out of the shadows, revealing the large baton. Both of the mens eyes widened in fear at sight of it, although it wasn't suprising. Most people had the same reaction.
"That.... that is a large stick."
Rude. Tommy scowled at them,
"It is, in fact, not a large stick." He swung the baton at them, knocking the man in the black hoodie to the ground. Green hoodie man tried to get away, but he was just too fast for him. Man, his pog levels were off the charts tonight.
"What the fuck-" Whack, thats the sound it made as the baton resonated off of the mans head. Tomy felt almost bad for the man in black, almost. He turned to the other guy,
"You never really answered my question," Tommy crossed his arms, "What was going on here?" The man in green, wow thats getting old, backed up into the wall.
"I-i don't.. really... what?" He glared at Tommy, "Well what does it look like asshole? He's buying drugs!" Tommy raised an eyebrow, "Drugs you say? Sounds interesting. Unfortunately for you, those drugs are illegal and im gonna have to turn you in now." a large shit-eating grin appeared on his face as he swung the baton down again, knocking out the man in the green hoodie. "all in a nights work" Soon enough he had dropped them off next to the police station, (all drugs included) and was on his way to fight more crime. like the pog vigilante he was. It was a fairly peaceful night, there weren't many people out, and the air was crisp. There was a slight wind that did bring shivers down his spine though, but it wasn't entirely unpleasant.
Tommy perched on the ledge of a building, just soaking in the sight of the place. Usually he would have looked up at the stars, but thanks to light pollution there weren't any to see. Although, the sparkle of the lights were a sight to see on their own. They shone in the pitch black darkness of the night sky, some brighter than otheres, in all the colors you could think of. Tommy would have adored the sight if it didn't make his eyes hurt after a minute.
Movement somewhere nearby caught Tommy's attention. Someone else was on the roof with him, that thought caused him to panic. A green striped bucket hat, and large black wings caught his attention almost immediately.... fuck.
