Summary
Tommy was exhausted, to say the least.
Though, I'm sure almost anyone would be if they were a skinny 14 year old, running through snow from their crazily possessive parental figures. Not only that, Tommy's legs were still a little numb from all the weakness potions they made him drink! So excuse him for just wanting to get into a nice, warm shelter. But nOo, he ran away. Plus, he didn't even want to know the consequences for leaving in the first place, so he’s just pogging through the pain for now.
He does have a very valid reason for running away besides the potions- he does! You see, Tommy was a newly presented moobloom. And with that information, his dad and papa were in their instincts for the most part. He was constantly being held, anytime he would try to go out to see his older brother they would block off the door and lock him in their prison-like arms. Not to mention, the house was his prison in the first place, they literally snatched him like a weave!

Tommy had lived and died as Theseus, Icarus, Orpheus and Sisyphus. But all he wanted to be was free.
In which Tommy Soot, originally born in 1509, is cursed to be reborn, to never reach adulthood unless he figured out the Greek myth of his lifetime. He had one rule of not allowing himself to get attached to people but he would have never guessed that a foster family of the creator of Minecraft, an anime stan and a Soundcloud musician would break that rule.
