David Rose realised he'd taken some wrong turns in life, hitting rock bottom only to realise that he wanted something more from life, so he checked himself into rehab. Rehab, it turned out, was nothing like the movies, and it was going to be a long twelve weeks. However, on his first day there a guy - Patrick he'd said his name was - who was also an alcoholic, had offered him a sympathetic smile and lift home after the session.
