So Worth It

Summary:

Miyeon gets restless after knowing that Minnie has a kissing scene in her sitcom.

Work Text:

Miyeon didn’t know how long she’s been standing there, in the cold hallway. Her hands were starting to get sweaty and every time someone walked past her, her head would quickly look down to her phone. She didn’t want to greet anyone because then, she’ll have to explain why she was standing beside Minnie’s studio door with a sour look on her face.

With her back against the wall, she could feel the vibrations of the music that Minnie was playing inside; a constant reminder that her bandmate was pretty much in the studio and that if Miyeon were to enter, she would be face to face with the Thai.

If this was just like any other day, she wouldn’t be this nervous. But today wasn’t like any other day. She’d come to visit Minnie with a purpose.

There was a set of questions she wanted to ask the Thai woman. They weren’t important, not really. They were just some stuff that she really really wanted to know for the betterment of her mental health.

All of this was the result of something that happened two days ago during the group’s usual dance practice.

“Will you have a kissing scene?”

The moment Miyeon heard Yuqi’s question, the chopsticks in her grip nearly fell out of her hand. She tried to keep a neutral expression as her eyes strayed from her lap to her two friends sitting in the middle of the dance floor.

“I won’t answer.” Miyeon watched as Minnie gently pushed the Chinese away from her.

“Why not? Just tell me if you have one or not!” Yuqi has always been infamous for being adamant and extremely persistent. There were times Miyeon had even fought with the Chinese because of this. However, at that moment, she was low-key elated to see Yuqi so persistent. A part of her was just as curious as the Chinese.

“Why would I? So you and everyone else can tease me about it?”

Miyeon’s lips pursed into a thin line. Minnie’s response wasn’t a direct confirmation but it was a confirmation nonetheless. An uncomfortable feeling began to pool at the bottom of her stomach.

“So you do have a kissing scene!” Yuqi hollered out and shook Minnie’s lap like an overexcited puppy.

“With who? With who?”

Miyeon no longer had the appetite to finish her remaining noodle. Instead, her eyes were boring a hole into Minnie’s back as the Thai ignored Yuqi’s questions and walked out of the room without disclosing anymore information about the kiss.

Ever since that happened, she couldn’t stop thinking about it. Minnie having a kissing scene in a sitcom shouldn’t bother her this much. But the problem was that Miyeon was extremely bothered by it. She knew that poking her nose into business that didn’t involve her was questionable but it was only natural to be curious.

“Yuqi was curious so why can’t I be curious?” She muttered under her breath, trying to justify her actions. She’ll go in, ask Minnie the things she wants to know and if her friend refuses to answer, tough luck, she leaves. Simple.

“It’s simple, it’s so simple Miyeon. You go in, you ask, you get out.” Miyeon voiced the words out into the open and fished out her company card. After counting down from three, she scanned her card and pushed the door open.

Minnie was sitting with her back to the door when Miyeon stepped in. Upon hearing the Korean, the Thai paused the song and turned around. Despite a neutral expression, the slight raise of her eyebrows proved that Miyeon’s spontaneous visit was a surprise for the younger woman.

“Hi.” Miyeon croaked out and took off her jacket. She then walked to the couch and sat down cautiously.

“Hi?” Minnie’s eyebrows raised a tad bit higher, her curious eyes following Miyeon from the doorway to the couch.

Instead of responding, Miyeon stared at the various items Minnie had on display on the wooden shelf. Not that they matter, it was just a way for the older woman to ignore the pair of curious eyes staring at her.

Ask and leave. Miyeon repeated in her head once more and forced herself to meet Minnie’s dark eyes. The room smelled of Minnie and her brain was having a hard time stringing words together. It also didn’t help that Minnie was wearing her favorite purple beanie and was looking extra cute today (not that her friend wasn’t cute every single day).

“So.” Miyeon started out and took in a deep breath.

“So?” The Thai urged.

“What are you doing?” Miyeon mentally smacked herself for not being able to ask what she originally wanted to ask.

“Nothing really. Why? Do you need something?” Minnie was still staring at her expectantly and Miyeon shifted uncomfortably. Wanting to shield her body from the younger woman’s burning gaze, she reached for something to hug against her body.

“I don’t need anything. I’m just bored. You can just do your thing, ignore me.” Although her tone was casual, her mind was in chaos. Everything was not going as planned. At all. At this rate, she’ll be leaving this room accomplishing absolutely nothing.

“Okay then.”

With that short reply, the foreigner turned back to her screen and Miyeon palmed her forehead in defeat. How was she going to get answers when she can’t even make herself ask the questions?

She needed motivation. Or more like, a trigger.

Miyeon spent the next ten minutes scrolling through her phone aimlessly. Well, actually, not aimlessly. She was searching for the “So Not Worth It” male casts and stalking each of their Instagram accounts. Minnie would be kissing one of these guys so at least she wanted to be familiar with them first. She scrolled through various pictures and so far, she’s already had an idea of the potential candidates.

One of them will be kissing Minnie. Before me. Miyeon bitterly thought in her head and suddenly wanted to bury her face into her hands and wail in despair. What would the kiss be like? Minnie was filming for a sitcom so the kisses shouldn’t be too intense right? To her horror, a scenario in which Minnie makes out with a guy flashed in her head. The kind that involved tongue and shirtless Minnie and—

“No!” Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth at the accidental outburst.

“What the— Miyeon! You scared me, what the hell?” Minnie jerked in her seat and whipped her head back to glare at Miyeon. The flustered Korean slid back in her seat and hid half of her face behind the plushie she was holding onto.

“Sorry. I was watching something and there was a jump scare.” She mumbled against the soft plushie and hoped Minnie couldn’t see the heat on her cheeks from all the way across the room. Miyeon pouted when she saw Minnie rolling her eyes.

“You’re such a baby.” Although her tone was annoyed, Minnie was chuckling lightly and that somehow filled Miyeon with indescribable warmth. Now that she’s got Minnie’s attention, she figured this was her chance.

“I’ve been meaning to ask, how’s the filming going so far?” Miyeon congratulated herself for being able to cover up the nervousness in her voice. With the question, Minnie twirled around fully in her chair and Miyeon smiled internally knowing that she’s successfully made the Thai engaged in a conversation.

“It’s going well.”

“Oh.” Miyeon had expected a more lengthy reply. However, judging from Minnie’s facial expression, it seemed like that was the only thing she was going to say. It dawned on her that now was the time for her to ask the important questions. It was now or never.

“I heard that you’re getting a kissing scene?” Being able to say that whole question out without stuttering filled Miyeon with immense pride.

“Did you hear that during practice a few days ago?” Minnie’s lips lifted into a tiny smile and Miyeon could only nod mutely.

“You were eavesdropping?”

“What? No!” Miyeon indignantly replied. “I was in the same room and Yuqi was screaming at the top of lungs so of course I would overhear.”

She didn’t know why the Thai was suddenly looking at her with those mischievous eyes and that teasing smile. It was making her stomach twist into tight knots and she didn’t like the way it felt.

“I was just teasing, why are you so mad?” Minnie was now grinning and Miyeon wanted nothing more than to reach out and strangle the younger woman.

“I’m not mad.”

“Whatever you say.” Minnie playfully rolled her eyes again and chuckled. “And to answer your question, yes. I do have a kissing scene.”

“With who?” Miyeon asked almost immediately, not caring that she was appearing a lot more eager than she should be.

“Youngjae oppa.”

Miyeon chewed on her bottom lip at the response. The person Minnie mentioned was indeed in her list of potential candidates. A myriad of questions surfaced in her head and a few imaginative scenes of Minnie kissing Youngjae were also starting to flash in her brain. Amidst the chaos that her mind was in, there was one more thing she needed to know. The most important information of all.

“What kind of kissing will it be?”

Minnie’s dark eyes stared at Miyeon for a long time, as if she was trying to figure Miyeon out. The room was left silent for a few seconds before the Thai threw back an answer.

“What do you mean?”

“What do I mean?” Miyeon repeated the question back to Minnie and her eyes left Minnie’s to stare at the wall, the shelf, basically, just anything that wasn’t Minnie’s face. She played with her fingers as her brain tried to formulate an answer.

“Like would it be just a simple peck or you know, you know.” Miyeon moved her hand around in the air hoping her gestures would make Minnie get the idea. It shouldn’t be so hard to understand. Surely, she shouldn’t have to say the words out directly.

“No, I don’t know.”

Miyeon flicked her eyes back to Minnie thinking the Thai was joking but no. The blank expression Minnie had on did seem like she was completely clueless.

“Simple peck and what?”

Miyeon felt her body go hot and cold at the thought of having to say the actual words out. Minnie would be the death of her, that’s for sure. Taking a deep breath, she forced her words out.

“Would it be pecking or…or French kissing?” She whispered the last part out and at that point, she was already blushing. She was certain her cheeks were bright red from how hot she was feeling them. Hearing a snort of laughter from her friend, Miyeon instantly hurled the plushie she was holding at the Thai.

“French kissing. Never thought there’d be a day I would hear you say that word, I’m impressed.” Minnie caught the object thrown her way with ease and hugged it against her chest. The amused smile on her face made Miyeon so mad. Of course Minnie would know what words she was trying to say. The trickster only acted dumb so Miyeon would say it out and humiliate herself.

“You are a horrible person. I hope you know that.” Miyeon patted around to look for something else to throw at her extremely annoying friend but found nothing. Therefore, she could only glare at Minnie which for some reason, only made the foreigner laugh even harder.

“Says the one who just threw something at my face full force.”

“Do you want more? That wasn’t even my strongest throw.” Miyeon petulantly crossed her arms across her chest and tried to suppress the urge to run out of the room in embarrassment.

“Did you come here just to ask me about my kissing scene and then throw stuff at me?” Minnie smiled widely and Miyeon hated that even in the midst of getting teased, she still found Minnie’s smile extremely attractive.  She was supposed to be annoyed and mad, not gush over how Minnie looked adorable with her twinkling eyes and cute smile.

“Just answer the question.” The Korean mumbled moodily and threw another dirty glare at Minnie’s way.

“Why do you want to know?”

“Because—” Miyeon hotly started but paused after her very first word. She suddenly realized she didn’t have a reasonable answer for Minnie’s question. Her brain began to work hard to come up with an excuse but the only one she could come up with was that she was curious.

“Because—” Miyeon tried again, willing herself not to melt under Minnie’s amused gaze, “—just because.” The Korean finished off weakly.

“Just because.” The Thai echoed Miyeon’s answer back to her and that only made the Korean realize how stupid her answer was. She had expected Minnie to dive into another fit of laughter but instead, the younger woman was just looking at her with this weird gaze that Miyeon couldn’t decipher.

Starting to get uneasy with the way Minnie was observing her, Miyeon began to sweat. It was indeed strange for her to probe this much. She was just a friend after all.

“You know what, forget I ever—“

“It won’t be a simple peck.”

Miyeon froze at the sudden response. Since it was a sitcom, she was almost sure Minnie’s kissing scene would be a simple one. She only asked to confirm her guess and make her sleep better at night. But now that Minnie said it wasn’t a simple kiss, she was starting to freak out.

“It won’t be a simple peck? So, so you’re gonna make out?”

“That’s right.”

Minnie’s face was unreadable at that point. But with such a serious tone, Miyeon couldn’t help but force herself to believe the Thai’s answer. And now that she found out her crush would be making out with a guy on camera, what was she supposed to do? She can’t just walk out after knowing this kind of information. She needed to do something. Something. Just anything.

“Do you know how to kiss?” The moment she finished her question, Miyeon stilled in sheer terror. She did not just say that.

“I mean, I mean like do you need help? Or you know, like, like— fuck.“ Miyeon bit her tongue to stop herself from rambling more nonsense. She was only making it worse.

“Like fuck?” Minnie leaned back a bit and the corner of her lips lifted up. “Do I know how to kiss and fu—“

“Stop! Stop!” Miyeon screeched out before her friend could finish that sentence. Miyeon wanted to die.

“I mean do you know how to kiss.” Miyeon adjusted her shirt and tried to sit up straighter. She was avoiding Minnie’s eyes the best she could. Her question did come off as a bit condescending, she only realized that after saying it out.

“And if I say I don’t, what would you do?”

“I would help you of course.” Miyeon replied without missing a beat.

“And how would you do that?”

“Well I can—“ Miyeon abruptly paused. Her mouth had moved way quicker than her brain and it was only then that the context of the conversation finally caught up with her.

“You can?” The smirk Minnie had on was more suggestive than teasing now. Miyeon felt her body start to overheat.

“You can do what for me? Show me kissing videos on YouTube? Let me read kissing articles on the internet?”

“We can do that. Why not? I’m sure they would be helpful.” Miyeon fidgeted with her phone before going into the browser.

“But I think a physical demonstration would be a lot more useful though.”

Miyeon turned rigid and she didn’t even want to know how crimson her face was. Judging from how hot it was, she must be the same shade as Minnie’s lipstick right now.

“What, what do you mean physical demonstration?” Miyeon stuttered out. She knew exactly what Minnie was implying but she was acting dumb. It was her way of preventing herself from crumbling into bits in front of Minnie.

“You know what I mean.”

Miyeon low-key hoped Minnie would laugh and break out of this serious character but no. With those smoldering eyes and stoic face, the Thai was now dead serious.

“Okay.” Miyeon knew this was absolutely dangerous but her heart was the one doing the talking instead of her brain now. Her logic has flown out the window.

“Okay? Really?”

Miyeon’s heart was beating at the base of her throat as she mutely nodded. She then patted the empty space beside her on the couch.

“We’re friends. It doesn’t have to mean anything.” Although she said it out loud, that was more of a reminder for no one but herself.

“You’re serious?” Minnie’s voice raised skeptically and Miyeon nodded again. At that point, her brain was on autopilot.

“I’m dead serious. I do have a few kissing experiences. So I, I can maybe show you.” Miyeon’s voice was trembling and if Minnie noticed, she didn’t say anything.

The Thai moved from her chair to sit down beside Miyeon, their knees connecting. It was so weird how Minnie was going through with this, especially with how serious the Thai was taking this.

She must really want to ace her kissing scene.

“So, how are we doing this?” Minnie whispered lightly and Miyeon gulped. If her friend wanted to take this seriously, she should give it her best too. Feelings aside, she should be professional. But how could Miyeon be professional if she was going to kiss Minnie?

“Have you ever kissed anyone before?” Miyeon unsurely asked and Minnie searched her eyes a bit before she answered.

“No.”

Miyeon had to use all her strength to stop a childish smile from spreading across her face. She was going to be Minnie’s first kiss. Although it won’t mean anything, she’ll still take whatever she can at this point.

“But you’ve seen people kiss right? Like in movies and stuff.” Miyeon cautiously questioned and Minnie answered with a tiny smile.

“Yes I have.”

Miyeon nodded and shifted in her seat. Although she was supposed to be the one teaching Minnie, it seemed like she was even more jittery than the Thai. Minnie’s demeanor was cool and calm. Was she not bothered that she was going to be kissing someone for the first time? Miyeon wished she had a quarter of the confidence that Minnie has.

“So what differentiates a good kiss from a bad kiss is that a good one is done with feelings.” Miyeon began her explanation and to be honest, she didn’t know what the hell she was saying. She knows how to kiss but it dawned on her that she didn’t know how to teach.

“On set, you would have to bring in these emotions into the person you’re kissing, which in your case, would be Youngjae. It’s like, erm—” Miyeon paused and tried to search for the right words. This was a lot harder than she had anticipated.

“Never mind. Forget what I just said.” Miyeon thought for a bit before she tried a different approach.

“Maybe we can just try a bit and see what it’s like first and then we can start from there. I’ll try to kiss you and…you just feel what it’s like.” The Korean inched forward a bit and lifted her hand up to lightly touch Minnie’s chin.

“Your hand is trembling.” Minnie bluntly remarked and Miyeon’s eyes trailed to her hand which was indeed shaking in the air. She clamped her hand shut and brought it to her lap. This was beyond embarrassing for the older woman.

“It feels like you’re even more nervous than I am.”

“Shut up Kim Minnie.”

“Sorry, Professor Cho.” Miyeon’s ears turned pink at the teasing remark and she wanted nothing more than to choke the Thai. The way she was exposed to Minnie’s eyes was truly effecting her teaching performance and absolutely detrimental to her heart.

“You can’t look at me.” Miyeon suddenly blurted out and reached forward to yank Minnie’s beanie down so the fabric covered both of her eyes. Those mischievous eyes can be covered for now. Miyeon absolutely didn’t need them.

“You can’t be serious.” Minnie commented but made no move to push the beanie away.

“I’m dead serious. I don’t need your eyes to torment me right now, I only need your lips.” Miyeon only realized how wrong that sounded the second she finished her sentence. In panic mode, she gauged the Thai’s reaction and sighed when Minnie didn’t seem to react to her verbal mistake.

Now that Minnie’s eyes were hidden, Miyeon was able to collect herself and get her act together a bit better. Minnie won’t be able to see her so she didn’t have to feel like an idiot for being as red as a tomato.

“When we kiss, try to mirror my actions, okay?” Miyeon really tried to contain herself but her voice was a little bit higher than usual from all the nervousness she was experiencing.

“Okay.”

“I’m going to touch your face.” Miyeon said and lifted her now stable hand to cup Minnie’s cheek. The Thai’s cheek was soft and warm under her palm and Miyeon had to stop her thumb from caressing the smooth skin. That would be too weird and sensual.

“Just relax.” Miyeon whispered and honestly, that phrase was meant for herself and not for Minnie.

With bated breath, she leaned in and when both of their faces became so close they were literally breathing in the same air, Miyeon paused. She was getting a little light headed.

“I’m going to kiss you now.” Miyeon reported awkwardly and almost died when Minnie’s pink tongue peeked out to wet her bottom lip.

“I’m ready.” Minnie whispered.

And I am so not ready. Miyeon whined mentally but forced herself to stop thinking and just leaned in to close the gap between them.

Be professional, be professional. That was the phrase she kept chanting in her head and when her lips touched Minnie’s, she let herself go.

She started real slow, giving Minnie a soft kiss before pulling back a little to lean in again with another one. Against her own lips, Minnie were starting to copy what she was doing and they both soon fell into their own rhythm. Minnie was doing a really good job it was starting to scare Miyeon a little bit.

Not wanting it to get out of hand, the older woman pulled back and regulated her breathing.

“That was…good.” Miyeon hesitantly commented and licked her lips in hopes of stopping them from tingling.

“You think so?” Minnie asked back and Miyeon hummed. Her heart wasn’t slowing down and she was a bit worried she might get a stroke.

“Yeah. I think in kissing, you just need to find that rhythm then you’ll be fine.” When Miyeon couldn’t bring herself to stop looking at Minnie’s red lips, she found her greedy self surfacing.

“Let’s do it one more time, I’ll be a bit more forward.” Miyeon knew this was just an excuse to satisfy her selfish needs but she was helping Minnie in a way right? Minnie was getting a much needed lesson and Miyeon was getting her dreams full filled so everything was fair.

“Again, just try to feel and mirror my actions.”

“Can I touch your face?” Minnie’s sudden question caught Miyeon off guard. The older woman quickly felt her face and when she figured they weren’t burning hot, she nodded.

“Yes.” She then picked up Minnie’s hand and placed them gently against the side of her face.

“Thank you.” The hand on her face spread across her cheek and grazed against her ear. Minnie’s words of gratitude somehow made Miyeon blush. Minnie being nice to her would never fail to make her shy.

This time, when they kissed, Miyeon could tell Minnie was a bit more comfortable than the first. They instantly found their rhythm and Miyeon was starting to lose her senses. Minnie was too good and Miyeon soon forgot that this was supposed to be a teaching session.

Miyeon shifted her face and tugged softly on Minnie’s bottom lip. Minnie was a fast learner. Too fast for Miyeon’s good because soon after that, the Korean’s bottom lip was trapped in between Minnie’s teeth and the Thai was doing exactly what Miyeon was doing just now.

The hand on her face slid down to wrap around her nape and when Miyeon felt Minnie guide her forward to deepen the kiss, the lips against hers froze. Before she could even register what was happening, Minnie had already pulled away, so quick as if Miyeon’s touch burned.

Miyeon then got to her senses and realized they might’ve gone a little too far and that Minnie was a little too good for someone who’s never kissed before.

“You are really good.” Miyeon whispered as she watched Minnie pull her beanie back up to expose her eyes again. And just like before, those eyes gave none of Minnie’s feelings away.

“That wasn’t good. Stop flattering me.”

“No, for real. Probably even better than those guys I’ve kissed before.” Miyeon was kind of in shock, if she was being honest. However, Minnie refused to accept her compliments. The Thai abruptly stood up and went to gather her things.

“Thank you for the—“ Minnie cleared her throat. “—the lesson. I’m, I’m sure it’ll be very useful for my sitcom.”

That was the first time today that she’s witnessed Minnie stuttering.

“And you’re leaving?” Miyeon was afraid she’d overdone it and had ultimately freaked the Thai out. Minnie was refusing to look at her in the face.

“I forgot that I have to be somewhere.” Minnie shoved her things into her bag and Miyeon was just sitting on the couch like a confused puppy. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t a little hurt with Minnie’s sudden change of demeanor. Why was Minnie so hard to read?

“I’ll see you later?” Miyeon asked feebly and all she got was a nod. Everything happened in a blur as Minnie put on a jacket and shot Miyeon a tight lipped smile before disappearing down the hall.

They never talked about the kiss.

To Miyeon, it almost felt like nothing but a super realistic dream. The day after the kiss, Minnie was back to normal and Miyeon was too afraid to bring the kiss up. It wasn’t like she had a reason to bring it up anyways.

Upon seeing the Thai’s aloof behavior, Miyeon was hurt for a little while but soon after, she’d come to accept that the kiss meant nothing. It was stupid of her to get her hopes up.

She never got to ask the younger woman how the kissing went with Youngjae and now that months have passed since the incident, Miyeon found herself unaffected enough to sit through Minnie’s sitcom and witness Minnie kissing another person on screen.

“So Not Worth It” had just came out on Netflix a few days ago and she’s been trying to watch the show in between her busy schedule. Minnie was a wonderful actress and Miyeon’s heart would burst with pride every time her Thai friend shows up on the screen.

The Korean was currently sitting in the living room with a cup of ramen in her hand. It’s a little late at night and she was tired but she wanted to at least squeeze in one episode of the sitcom before going to bed.

She was on episode 11 and rumor has it that the kiss happens in this episode so she’s been emotionally prepared for the entire day. She was dreading the kiss, her mind expecting the worst of the worst but when she got to the part, her eyebrows creased in confusion.

“That’s it?” She asked the TV screen. She could swear Minnie had said the kissing scene would be a make out session but what she had witnessed was nothing but two innocent pecks.

“Did she lie to me?” Miyeon fell back into the sofa and didn’t even care that Netflix was moving on to the next episode.

“Maybe they changed the script?” Miyeon tried reasoning out but her mind was dying of curiosity. This won’t do, she needed to ask Minnie. Right now.

She picked up her phone and typed a message to the Thai.

[23:54] just finished ep 11

The Korean didn’t even care to greet nor beat around the bush. It only took a minute for her to get a reply.

[23:55] Kim Minnie: oh

Miyeon’s eyes narrowed at the one word reply. What kind of reply is this?

[23:56] That’s all u have to say?

The reply came almost immediately.

[23:56] Kim Minnie: what do u mean

Miyeon groaned at the dumb reply and immediately typed back a response.

[23:57] u know what I mean. u told me u were gonna make out. Did they change the script?

This time, it took Miyeon much longer to get a reply. She was expecting Minnie to say yes, they did change the script. However, what she received was not what she had expected.

“What…” Miyeon trailed off as she read Minnie’s text. Her heart had now sped up and was beating in her throat.

[00:08] Kim Minnie: would u be mad if I said they didn’t?

If they didn’t change the script, it meant Minnie lied to her back then. Miyeon wasn’t mad, she was far from mad. She had an inkling as to why Minnie would lie but she didn’t want to jump into conclusions.

[00:09] I won’t be mad

Miyeon waited with bated breath for Minnie’s response. This could mean everything. This could mean everything to Miyeon and her entire body was buzzing with anticipation.

[00:11] Kim Minnie: they didn’t change anything, I lied to you

Miyeon’s lips pulled into an irresistible smile and she laid down on the couch with a palm across her face. This was too good to be true.

[00:12] why?

Miyeon watched as the texting bubble appeared and disappeared.

[00:16] Kim Minnie: it might’ve been an excuse for me to kiss you?

“Oh my god.” Miyeon breathed out and pressed her palm harder against her face. Her lips were hurting from smiling so hard.

[00:17] Kim Minnie: I’m sorry

[00:18] What are you sorry for? For making me smile like an idiot right now?

Miyeon hated that she was giggling like a schoolgirl when she sent that text.

[00:20] Kim Minnie: Miyeon…

Then, the Korean finally realized something else that Minnie might’ve lied to her about.

[00:21] did you lie about never having kissed anyone before too?

[00:22] Kim Minnie: yes that too

Although she was a bit sour at the revelation, the joy Miyeon felt overpowered it completely. In a way, it did make her feel better knowing that she wasn’t Minnie’s first kiss. If Minnie really was inexperienced and was somehow that good on her first try, Miyeon would be humiliated.

[00:23] that’s fine but Kim Minnie, we really need to have a proper talk about this!!!!!

A part of Miyeon was starting to get a little mad at Minnie for making her suffer all along like this.

[00:25] Kim Minnie: promise I’ll talk to u about this once I get back. I don’t wanna do this when we’re hundreds of miles apart

[00:25] I’ll wait and if u break your promise, I’m gonna be really really really  mad >:(

[00:26] Kim Minnie: I won’t :)

At that reply, Miyeon hugged her phone to her chest and laughed so loud in happiness that Mata started running to her to see what the commotion was.

“Mata yah, today’s probably the best day of my life.” Miyeon picked the ball of fluff up and started peppering Mata with happy kisses. She was acting like a complete child but she didn’t care. The only thing she could think about was that Minnie wanted to kiss her just as much as she did back then. Although the Thai used a pretty cheap way to trick Miyeon into kissing her, she was beyond happy that Minnie did it.

Miyeon can’t wait to see Minnie again.
