Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Harry stood in front of the dancing pair and smiled.

"Oh, hi Harry," Cho greeted softly.

"Hello, Cho. Cedric," he greeted back. "Can I borrow your date for a song?"

Cedric spoke up, "Not for t-"

"I wasn't talking to you," Harry answered, looking directly at the taller boy.

Cho was slightly taken aback. "Uh-"

Harry laughed it off. "It's just to talk about the tournament, nothing more."

Cho looked up at Cedric, then back at Harry. "Sure."

Harry grinned. "Thanks."

Meanwhile, Cedric is very confused as Cho leaves his hands and Harry's enters his.

"What is this about, Potter?" Cedric asked, awkwardly clenching his hands.

"Back off from Cho."

Cedric creased his eyes. "Why should I? She said yes to me."

"I get that. But after this dance, you'll step back."

"Wh-"

"Or else," Harry cut in with threatening eyes. "I'll find another way to get you away from her."

Cedric gripped tighter onto Harry's hand and waist. "Try me."

Harry let out an amused, yet unamused laugh.

"Song's over, Potter." Cedric released his hands and walked away.

Harry's eyes followed the pretty boy. Cedric held Cho's waist as they swayed to the next song. He looked away from the girl and directly at Harry with a smirk.

Harry gave a smile - a devilish smile.

Cedric wouldn't be the one smiling in the end.
